the poorest wifi in Leicester
as I checked in they promised me that the internet was very fast, so I payed extra charge for it. I work in Media and I had to send packages from the hotel. It was a total disaster, the slowest internet in the world. I felt robbed by them
The room was clean enough, the television worked. It was as I would have expected based on previous experience of Campanile.
Noisy, not enough milk for hot drinks. Staff did not seem to speak very good English.
Secure parking, price and location.
Quick check-in,friendly, nice room. Good position for our function
Location and staff.
Lack of towels and pillows
The location was better than we had anticipated, just a short walk to the main shopping area. We really just booked it for an overnight stay to break our long journey, but it turned out to be perfect for us.,
The layout of the hotel, an the staff been at your service when needed.
Nope
Staff were helpful and generally friendly. Good facilities & safe parking
I don't think the breakfast is worth the seperate price - we stayed in the Express Holiday Inn last year and although there was no cooked breakfast it was at least included with the room price which counts for a lot when you are already spending a lot of money on flights, rooms and other holiday expenses (eg eating out).
the breakfast was too small to entice our party to have one. instead we enjoyed a big breakfast around the corner. a french owned hotel with the typical english values of not giving value for money.there is nothing worse than paying for a meal eating it then leaving hungry.although the hotel is dirty, it is not yet highly visible the problem needs to be arrested in its infancy. there was water staining on the ceiling in the bathroom and an orange substance in and around the shower head (i did not use the shower for this reason. the corner behind the bathroom door was dirty the floor had been cleaned but the insoluble dirt and hair was deposited here. there was a substance on the headboard that should have been cleaned off before our arrival but was missed there was some damage to the room ie iron burn on the carpet, chipped bath, door lock fitting. my overall view is that there is a lack of inspection with regards to the cleaning and the breakfast should be larger.for an hotel at this current standard £35-£38 per night would be more appropriate
Comfortable and clean room.
Apparently chaotic control of staff, the restaurant was supposed to be open until 2145, although my order was taken at 2135 I was subsequently advised that the chef was going home ! The bar was supposed to close at 0100, it closed at 2300 and as the night porter had not arrived there could be no service due to 'health and safety' reasons ? Not what I call an acceptable level of service !
I loved the comfortable bed and the friendly bar area.
I did not have enough milk & suger.
