Ok The seats were less comfortable than our British Airways flights on the way out. No alcoholic drinks were provided either like they were on the British Airways flight. BA has tons of movies and TV to choose from, and lots of first-run. This had about 6 TV shows, 2 episodes each, and maybe 20 movies, ranging in age but mostly not very new. When you're on a daytime flight for 7 hours, this becomes something you care about."

This was taken away from me once I was on the plane and I had little space and comfort. I wouldn't fly Aer Lingus again unless there was no choice."

Cons: "I knew I was going to miss my flight on Christmas Day and I called British airways and they directed me to my travel agent who I could not get on the phone. I called you and your offices were closed. I went to the airport with the hope I could get on a mother flight but British airways closed the ticketing section in my face telling me my ticket was restricted and there was nothing they could do. I finally got the travel agent (justfly.com) on the phone and they told me I have to call 24 hrs in advance with any change to the ticket. Desperate to get to Lisbon, I booked another flight at around $800/one way and was driven from Newark airport in Nj to Jfk in NY where I made my flight. In sum, I left my family on Chrismtas day to travel and wasted Hours upon hours and lost a ticket valued at more than $700 only to have to buy another at $800. I've been traveling for 20 years and have never had such a terrible experience. Even with "restricted" fares the agent is always willing to help in some form."

I am grateful that they flew my luggage the next day and delivered it to my hotel. I would understand this happening if I had a tight connection time, but I didn't. It was actually 1.5 hours extra time since my flight came in early."

Cons: "Due to delays because of maintenance issues, I had to wait at LHR for 9 hours! I was given 2 meal vouchers which I could not use because I have dietary restrictions and the airport had no place for me to get food. I was not expecting such a long delay and hence did not have a change of clothes/jacket or anything. The airport was ridiculously cold and I had to spend 13 pounds out of my own pocket in order to buy a cheap blanket to keep me slightly warm at the airport. The customer service refused to even allow me to use the lounge for a little while to get some shut eye or freshen up. When it was finally time to board, at the last minute, the crew announced that they were having maintenance issues AGAIN and we were delayed by 1.5 hours more. CRAZY! Lastly, when i reached Mumbai and opened my bag, my iPhone which was stowed away in my checked in luggage had disappeared. Very very disappointed by the service and lack of customer care."

Cons: "This company will gauge you for money. It’s a complete joke. To check two smal bags they charged me $94 euros, which unfortunately I had no other option but to pay. The easy jet representative charging me for the bag check treated me like I was stupid for not checking the bag online. I didn’t know until late that I was going to need to check a bag... The flight boarding was completely unorganized. They shuttled 3 bus loads of people to the plane and had everyone board on either end of the plane, making it so people had to scoot past each other both ways to get to their seats creating a traffic jam. The biggest insult was they don’t even provide water unless you pay for it. All the food and drink must be paid for. Not only that they have a magazine for items you can buy while flying with them. It felt so commercialized and like a complete rip off. I will never fly with easy jet again. Oh and I forgot to mention, the plane was dirty when we loaded. There was a dirty tissue under my seat and trash in then compartment in front of me."

I am not sure what the hold up was, but it took a slow moving line to finally get on to the plane and then to my seat. They charge for everything, no biscuit, pretzel, peanuts, water, coffee, or tea was complimentary."

Cons: "Boarding was late as flight was delayed about 30 minutes. I was asked to put my tiny cross against inside my carry on and that had to happen on the floor right before boarding. I guess I misunderstood but so did tens of other passengers. Annoying and very unusual. Never asked of me ever before and I'm a very frequent traveler."
Pros: "9.45pm flight was cancelled, announced 3h later, no food, no accomodation, no transportation was provided. Ground staff was not informed. airport closed at 11pm. Received SMS to find own accommodation that would be reimbursed, once did, received email, that no reimbursement will be offered. I will bring them to court, not to get the reimbursement, but full compensation stipulated by the law, i.e. 250£ + all overnight expenses + trial expenses. I also learned from the ground staff, that this is systematic..."

A last minute gate change brought upon a stampede, the flight was overbooked, and whilst not EasyJet's fault, 20 children on a midnight flight did not make for an enjoyable experience."

People who are regulars were able to queue up before those of us who did not know where we were heading. The baggage information is confusing; you can not be sure whether or not your bag will get on without a charge, but then when you get to the airport, the charge is greater than it would have been if you had more consisten info to start."

Cons: "First, I tried to check-in online but their system was down. I outsmarted them because I took several screen shots of different timelines. When I checked-in at their counter, they wanted to charged me €40. The lady wouldnt believe me when I told her that I tried to checkin online for 2 hours but their system was down. That's when I showed her the photo of the screen shot, she called someone on the phone telling him or her of the situation and that I have proof of screenshots. They finally allowed me to check-in with no fee. Second, When I dropped my 3 luggages, they wanted to charge me for my 2 check luggage allowances. I told the lady that I bought online for 3 luggages allowances,but their system only showed that I only bought one. It took several minutes for them to realized that I was right. Third, maybe because of my lack of sleep and tired of travelling for over a month, i left my shoulder bag under the seat of the plane. My fiancee's and my passports as welk.as £500, smart tablet,camera,credit cards,jewelries and other personal belongings were inside my bag. That day was the last day of our 40days vacation. When I got outside of the terminal, that's when I realized that I left my bag on the plane. I went quickly to Ryan air desk but the lady told me that we have to go to the lost item counter and wait for my bag to show up. I waited the whole afternoon at the lost item counter and the lady there told me to just call them and ask if my bag has showed up. When I got to the hotel, I called the airline for rebooking on my flight back to my country. I went back the next day to the airport,but my bag has not showed up at the lost item counter. I was able to get the contact numbers of Ryan air in-charge of this matter. I requested someone to call the person in cbarge,telling him that my bag couldnt be lost because of strict security inside the airport, after a long wait,they finally said they found my bag. I waited 1 hour for Ryan air staff to turn over my bag to the lost item coiunter. When I finally got my bag, there were only £40 left in my bag and a piece of jewelly was missing. I will fly back to my country today and I will file a formal complain with Ryan air as well as write the CEO or President of Ryan air of the way he runs the business. I'm glad I got back our passports but the whole world should know about how Ryan air run their business. PLEASE,.STAY AWAY FROM RYAN AIR."

Cons: "I was misinformed about the transfer of my flight. I had spent £20 on suncream that i had to throw away as they said i couldnt check the bag for free even though ryanair had misinformed me. I asked if the flight was full as then bags would be checked free anyways. They said no. Then my bag was checked free the other side after i had thrown away the sun cream. Flight itself very uncomfortable and we were delayed by 30 mins when already sat on plane."

Cons: "The most horrbile airline with the most unprofessional staff and employees I have ever seen in any business including airlines. Due to their technical issues with their computer systems and staff who were being trained on the spot, we ended up missing our flight and they were not accomodating in any form to help us with getting on the flight when they really could have. they were rude, unprofessionla, and did not care. our experience with them was like a bad dream."

Teh crew asked them occasionally to tone it down but did not stand up to them to make them shut up. It was worse than sitting next to a screaming baby for the entire 3 hours of the flight."

Cons: "I was told I received 12 emails indicating that I needed to check in from seven days until the flight... However, I never received them and looked in my junk mail folder as well. They charged £45 for both of us. I also called the company the day that I booked and was told I didn't have to pay for a checked bag. But upon arrival, we got hit with another £55 charge each. While I understand there are some fees oftentimes, but this is ridiculous and more than excessive. I will never use this company again and will tell everyone to avoid them."

Cons: "My hand luggage was taken away from me as there was no more space in the plane When I collected my case I was very angry to see that it was damaged. Dispite it being a hard plastic there are major tears that are deep and wide. I looked for someone in the airport to complain to and perhaps because it was a late flight there was no one there."
Cons: "The experience getting checked in, bags checked, and boarding the plane - took us 3 hours total. We arrived early to get through security and stood in three different lines for over 2.5 hours just to get boarding passes. After standing in the lines - we were then instructed to use one of the kiosks. We tried finding staff to help but nobody was available - as both people were helping a group of students with the self baggage hold. Ultimately - after 2.5 hours - we were told to just 'check in on the website on our phone' and get back into the queue to check the bag. As someone who has been traveling non stop for two weeks - this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with an airline."
