Pros: Beautiful views on the coast, the facility was wonderful and had great service. Rooms were large enough for four of us to share for a week.
Cons: The resort is far from just about everything else. It's a 15 minute ride to the nearest town and $7 per person each way for a shuttle. All the adventures are at least a 2 hour bus ride, or more.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The room was clean, bed comfortable and the view towards the pool and ocean was amazing. All hotel staff were very attentive and courteous. Starting upon arrival with the bellhop (Rodney), reservation desk, concierge desk (Karol who helped us with the restaurant reservations and printing boarding passes), restaurants staff members (Kimberly, Karen, Kerling, Meriz, Edward, Gerald, Roy Campos and Esteban Campos) of the various resturants (Sabanero Steakhouse, Tamarine, Azul Pool Grill and Mansita) and housekeeping (Leidy who kept our room immaculate and surprised us every day with a different animal made of towels).
Cons: Unfortunately, it is very isolated but it is great if you are looking for peace and quiet. The hour and ten minutes from the airport is a bit tiresome ride and most of the tour destinations are also a few hours away. Other than the location, it's a beautiful and first class hotel.
