Cons: The decor was shabby & the bathroom could do with an overhaul. The bath, sink & toilets themselves were clean but the panel on the side of the bath was badly fitted & exposed pipes etc in the bathroom were grubby. The huge bed was very hard & uncomfortable. There were no plug sockets next to the bed for overnight phone charging. The TV was nice & big but badly positioned for viewing from the bed. Hooks on the back of doors would be useful.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Very attentive. I have used this hotel for a number of years and love seeing the same familiar faces of the staff.
Cons: The room was very hot when I first entered. The radiator is behind the desk so I had to get on my hands and knees and try to reach the controls as the desk is too heavy to move.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was idea for my stay with reference to short distance to my company, The breakfast was acceptable and would have appreciated some availability of fruit, I thought all the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful,
Cons: Even though my room was acceptable and it's quite obvious the rooms have high ceiling and been lowered by what seems like polystyrene tiles, which I haven't seen for years, Additionally the bathroom needs updating, TV system wants updating as this struggled with very poor reception 1 night and this was contributed to the weather, which is very surprising in this age of technology,
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and location was quiet and attractive. Diner in the restaurant was very good and breakfast was well presented and plentiful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautiful view of the garden from our window. Good breakfast. Easy check in and out.
6.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean room.
Cons: I had to ask to get yoghurt and fruit for breakfast, even though it was on the menu. The main issue was having no hot water in the morning for a wash or shower. I understand there had been some problems with a boiler but when I reported the problem I was not offered any alternative facilities to wash or shower.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Although arriving around 10pm, we all received a great welcome. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms very nice. Breakfast was a full English, and just what was needed.
Cons:

Cons: Windows don't open in the room Expensive for what they offer Too far to the Center with nothing else for restaurant to go to nearby too isolated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A last minute decision as we were too hungover to drive home after staying over in Winchester for the MXGP and the roads were closed for hours due to an accident! Facilities were amazing didn’t expect the spa so we nipped and got some swimwear from the shops that are just around the corner and had tea out. Couldn’t have asked for any more in a hotel that I literally booked about 5 minutes before arrival because of the really low price! On arrival we was upgraded as I have genius, the room was very clean and modern even had a balcony with a Good view! Was a lovely way to end the weekend and we were more than refreshed and relaxed in the morning to tackle the 3 hour drive home.

Pros: Clean rooms and staff friendly.
Cons: Nothing really it’s what I expected for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was just what we wanted. Quite a few takeaways very local. Room was very clean and tidy but a view out of the window would have been nice and not 20 feet from the side of a dirty building. Saying that someone has to have that view I guess. Would I return??? Yes
Cons: Checked out a day early due to the virus. However checkout staff was more interested in talking to her friend than saying anything to us. She was quite rude to be honest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quick check-in and helpful staff Cosy and had all amenities for the price Comfortable beds and lots of towels and bedding Great location, within quick distance of several food outlets
