    Fabulous weekend stay

Luxurious rooms with every amenity. Huge range of restaurants and bars. Health and fitness options - loved the 20m indoor pool and hamman. Great staff - friendly, welcoming and efficient. Wonderful renovation with blend of old and new.

Despite the number of different restaurants the room service menu is quite limited. Movie selection on in room TV is difficult to browse through. Some areas on our floor (floor 2) had quite a strong "smoked food" smell, assume from the kitchens. Took a bit of fiddling to work out the light switches / dimmers in room.

    Brilliant!

They thought of everything! They had absolutely every amenity you’d ever want already in the room. The room service was delicious and fast! Honestly, I’ve ordered room service at more hotels than I could ever count and this was some of the best and the quickest.

I stayed at the Ned on a Saturday night so the bar/restaurant area downstairs was extremely busy. This in turn caused quite a bit of noise. My room was quite low, so maybe if you have a room on a higher floor the noise won’t be an issue. Honestly, it didn’t bother me one bit, but I wanted to mention it as it might throw some people off guard. They do supply ear plugs in the room.

About

Overview

London is a great city for tourists to visit and make some memories. London has many great sites to see and has a history like no other city in the world. When travelers are ready to start their stay here, there are many hotels in the area to choose from, but none of them are quite as eclectic as the Ned hotel. The Ned is a historic hotel in the heart of London. It has 250 rooms and each guest here will feel like they are part of the royal family with the treatment they get at the Ned.

The rooms here include queen or king size beds, beautiful Victorian-inspired furnishings, walk-in rainforest showers, and luxurious linens. There are many restaurants located in the Ned and guests can dine at Cecconi’s, Miller’s Lounger, The Nickel Bar, Malibu Kitchen, Kaia, Ned’s Feast, and Lutyens Grill. These restaurants offer an assortment of cuisines that guests of the Ned will fall in love with. These cuisines will make them feel as if they are at their home away from home.

There is a spa at the Ned, along with many other services that the guests of the hotel will fall in love with. There is an indoor pool, nail salon, spa, barbershop, and elixir clinic. Guests can truly wind down and relax at the spa and they can get a quick hair cut at the barbershop.

Booking a room here is simple, but the rooms do fill up quickly. Due to the small amount of rooms here, it is advised for future guests to book well in advance.

FAQs when booking at The Ned

Why should I stay at The Ned?

Staying at The Ned you will feel like you have stepped into another era. Originally an old bank, the hotel has been designed in a way that has kept many of the original items and charm. You can take yourself on a tour around the hotel to admire, amongst others, original windows all around the building, the golden monogram on the ceiling of The Saloon, the tapestry on the sixth floor, and best of all you can walk through the original vault door to access a cosy Ned’s Club space.

How to get from Heathrow Airport to The Ned using public transport?

Heathrow Airport is connected to 3 tube stations. Using any of those stations, hop on the dark blue Piccadilly Line heading in the direction of Cockfosters, and hop off at Holborn Station. From there catch a train from the red Central Line heading towards Epping and hop off at Bank Station. From there, The Ned is only a minute walk away. Underground tube rail runs very frequently and the full trip from the airport to your accommodation will take about an hour, with a one-way fare of £6 (about $8).

Do any of the restaurants at The Ned offer a brunch experience?

If you’re looking for a great feast while you’re on holiday, you can choose between two weekly brunch events at The Ned. Kaia restaurant organizes a brunch with an Asian inspired all you can eat spread that also includes one welcome drink. This brunch costs £45 (about $59) per person and is on every Sunday from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm. If you prefer ordering a la carte, head to Zobler’s Bottomless Brunch where you can order one main dish and drink as many mimosas as you like for £20 (about $26). This brunch is offered from midday to 5:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday.

What sort of weekly events does The Ned organize?

If you’re looking for something fun to do during your stay, head to the Sunday Swing session which is on every week from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, where you can dance to live music from the 1950s played by the London Dance Orchestra. For something a bit more laid back, join the New Music Monday session at The Nickel bar, which is held every week from 7:00 pm and showcases emerging artists that you can listen to while having dinner.

Does The Ned have any experiences that can be booked for couples or honeymooners?

If you are on a special romantic trip, consider booking the In Bed With Ned package for you and your loved one to make your stay extra special. You will be treated with a bottle of champagne and a romantic gift on arrival, you will be able to have breakfast in bed every day of your stay, and you’ll have access to all the Ned’s club areas including the club area inside the Vault and the swimming pool.
