Pros: Friendly checkin and out. Gym was good enough for a full workout and included in the price. Buffet breakfast was good
Cons: Separate block to the checkin/breakfast I Guess they have a captive market as £72 for a night is steep; but maybe that is what hotels cost now in the uk? I usually stay with friends. I’d say it was a premier inn with the added extras included
10.0 Excellent
Pros: enjoyed the hotel, shame about coronavirus.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was homely, comfortable and relaxing. The staff are helpful, freindly and efficient. The view from my room was stunning. The food was delicious. Well worth the money!
Cons: It would be good if the hotel had a lift as the stairs could be difficult for someone with mobility difficulties. this is the only thing I feel that could improve on the experience of staying at the hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very efficient and friendly despite concerns about flooding in the area due to Storms. They were never quite sure whether they were going to be able to get home after their shifts but remained upbeat and positive. The location was great - right in the middle of the village. Food choices were good with two restaurants open.
Cons: Nothing, although in the summer I could imagine there may be problems parking as the area is very popular.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was pleasant with a good selection of food although no traditional Welsh breakfast on offer. Certain staff more attentive than others. Location is visually pleasant but a bit run down with empty buildings. Eating out was limited but found an excellent Pizzeria called "Hanging Ape" which was a really good vibe with great food. All proceeds went to help endangered primates. Local area had some nice walks and with the heavy rains and localised flooding the river was a treat although probably became an issue later after we had vacated with further rain forecast.
Cons: Upon arrival told only 1 disabled parking space opposite Hotel and reception staff (one individual particularly) was rude which included attempting pressuring us to pay in full for our 3 day stay. No lift to 2nd floor and despite staff witnessing struggling with luggage said it was above their "Pay Grade" to help! (wtf). Room was rear of Hotel which exposed us to kitchen ventilation which ran all night with staff coming and going. Not enough lighting in bathroom to assist with shaving and make up. In room tv limited to 4 channels and no way of increasing number. TV would not play movies off usb stick either. Bed too hard and industrial for my tastes. Local area quite run down with empty buildings and too many overpriced outdoor shops although local spar had a good selection of items including a bakery. Not enough quality places to eat. Natural local attractions (water fall) was fenced off and had to pay to see nature. Would only accept contactless. If they had built it I would understand but come on!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good stay, room was clean and spacious, and of course it’s attached to the awesome Stables pub! Evening meal at the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: TV signal in the room was a bit hit and miss.
6.0 Good
Pros: Pleasant and welcoming staff on arrival and check-out. Value for money was reasonable.
Cons: On arrival, our (stable lodge) room appeared clean and fresh; however, upon closer inspection, there were what appeared to be eyelashes on the pillows, the bed sheet did not fit the mattress properly meaning the top end of the mattress was exposed which uncovered more debris... Both bedside lamps were dusty, there was a dirty cotton pad underneath the desk and the kettle could've done with a thorough clean. Moving onto breakfast (which we were told was served until 9.45am), we arrived just before 9am and found our own table. Once seated, we were not approached by a member of staff for over 15 minutes, when we were finally seen to, we were told that breakfast orders were no longer being taken (this was a joke). This was very off-putting and when we were eventually asked for our orders, we explained that we had not been given a menu. This was not corrected, nor was an apology given and we were simply asked what we wanted, not having any knowledge of the options. The breakfast was average and the overall experience wasn't great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Stables annex was very loud. Doors banging. Bins be dragged across the carpark early in the morning.

Pros: Location was nice as we had to go to mount snowdon. Town was accessible too.
Cons: Two for £10 meal isn't good as they don't give enough food especially rice which is just one spoon. Sometimes the food is even over like chicken so couldn't have chicken curry as part of the deal
7.9 Good
Pros: Brilliant location, nice staff, just needs updating, would have looked dated in 1980
9.6 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the hostel was extremely nice - he called in advance to check whether we would like to cancel due to the hostile weather conditions and didn't charge us until we arrived (even though the reservation specified that cancellation would result in a full fee charge). The place had a huge kitchen with all the facilities, even included coffee, milk, bread and jam. Very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend.
Cons: If you go to sleep early, bring earplugs, because there is a bar downstairs (I think it closes around 11pm or later) and might get quite loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice clean and friendly property. Gary and his team did an excellent job of greeting me and my group. The beds were comfortable, the toilets, bathroom and showers were clean with hot running water. The communal kitchen/dining room was well equipped and clean. Parking was good for our Motorcycles they also had a drying room, not that we needed it as it was beautiful weather. Off the beaten track you would expect plenty of space in the restaurant. But if you don’t book a table in advance you will be disappointed as the restaurant was full. The food was good, as was the drink choice.
Cons: Nowt. I was happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable bunkhouse above a lovely little bar with very friendly atmosphere . Would definitely stay again.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Gluten free and vegan very well catered for at breakfast; Lovely welcome with hot drinks and cake on arrival; Location is superb.
Cons: Rooms and bathrooms weren't immaculately clean; Bedroom door hadn't been locked one day after bed being made; Would be great for owners to have a greater understanding of intolerances - I am gluten free and was catered for well, but then also offered dairy free options...; Shower became a dribble if water was being used elsewhere in the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a lovely stay at Garth Dderwen. Chris and Julie kindly upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost (I booked the single room). The breakfast was great, and they were very accommodating for me needing a gluten free meal. They were very knowledgeable regarding walking trails, local transport, and restaurant suggestions.
Cons: Room was a bit chilly at night, but otherwise, very comfortable.

Cons: Very creaky bed!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here as it was easy to explore and walk in Snowdonia from the accommodation and it represented excellent value for money for a BnB. Also there were plenty of places to go in the evening. Provided everything we needed, a good breakfast, comfortable room and very accommodating, informative and friendly owners. A good stock of maps, books if needed and a comfortable lounge. We could also bring back a take away and eat in the dining area and this saved cost. Yes, we would return.

Pros: Very comfortable clean family run B&B. Room was exceptional; plenty of room, very clean and amazing views from the front facing window. Nothing had been overlooked; from quality shower and hand wash, all types of teabags, tray for mucky shoes, additional lighting provided for reading. I could go on! A tasty filling breakfast was included in our stay; good quality and plenty of it. Just a short walk to lovely Betws-y-Coed which has many places to eat and drink.
