We loved the overall customer service of the hotel, the beautiful hotel exterior and the very cool room design. We liked the record selection and other room amenities. (I am a sucker for the black soap.) The view from the terrace was wonderful. The rooftop bar is very pretty. I enjoyed the gym, and we loved our breakfasts at the Best Girl!
Most of our experiences in the restaurant were fantastic. We had one uncharacteristically bad service experience on the night we arrived. The others were all great.
The room, it was cosy but in a good way.
The pretentious atmosphere and the attitude of the servers.
Great staff, cool location and great vibe. It was as if Portland and Austin came together in one hotel. We had lots of fun at the pool and enjoyed meeting some cool people. The drinks at the bar were spot on every time. We'll hopefully back very soon. The valet and front desk staff are very attentive and always on it.
Being over 6' tall, the low bed wasn't the best, but that's just if I had to pick something. Also, every time we called the valet it just kept ringing. Granted it was a holiday weekend and I'm sure they were busy. They always treated us well and we never felt ignored or neglected.
Love the location. Heart of downtown LA. Near the fashion district.
Location was great. We loved the design of the room. Friendly staff.
