Charged me for dogs without prior warning even though a pet friendly hotel
Room decor was kind of odd, and check in was late because the rooms weren't ready on time
the room and the location
That they dont have parking for the guest, they force you to pay for the valet parking (35 per night)
Pros & Cons
Pros: the staff was super helpful and friendly. The beds were okay and the bedding was nice. The toiletries are good quality. The food for breakfast was good and buffet style however there were no pancakes left. The hotel has a nice aesthetic but the halls are a bit dark. It was quiet though.
Cons: When we arrived into the room with luggage I walked to the bed closer to the window and tripped on a large decorative cube that was at the foot of the super-low bed, apparently only decorative. I fell really hard against the wooden bed frame and hit my thigh and leg, resulting in a lot of bruising, swelling, and pain. Two days later it’s still swollen and painful. The room thermostat was stuck on 66, too cold for me. It did not work. The tile floor in the bathroom was dirty. Water on the floor created black mud. There is only valet parking for $35 / nite, a bit pricey given the room rate and what you’re paying for. I parked nearby on the street instead. Breakfast is $13.95 per person. It is tasty and plentiful but they were out of pancakes. If you want a Bloody Mary or mimosa it’s another $7. Plus tip. I stayed here previously around 3 years ago on business and definitely found it in better shape, with fewer issues than I did this time around. I was really disappointed because the stay was the final leg before returning to home in a 6 week long trip around Europe, Mexico, California and back to North Carolina to visit family. Regretfully I will be unlikely to stay at the Custom Hotel again.
The hotel was close to LAX airport. You can get there fast by Uber or Lift
The hotel was dirty, lighting is horrible, bathroom super small, shower water pressure was horrible, the beds were very low to the floor. It was like sleeping on a futon.
LAX airport hotel. But in a nice walk around neighborhood feel. Lots of restaurants nearby even late at night sushi. And supermarket next door. Great massage at Just Massage close by too
I didn't get a chance to try anything. I had to cancel yet was still charged the full amount. They have lost my business for life
Everything but breakfast
just about everything. I have stayed in better Motel 6s
Comfertable there is no noise of room servise
Two things i didnt like towels was very bad quality and brightness inside room they should change all towels and but stronger curtain
The ladies restroom on the main floor is way too dark! I could hardly see!
Good all around. Reasonable price, nice bed and bath. Easy Uber ride from LAX.
