We had an awesome time. No complaints at all. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Tips are truly appreciated so make sure and walk with a lot of singles.

Pros (+) Location and cleanliness.
Cons (-) The AC may need a tune up. Kept curtains closed most times and room wouldn't fully cool off until late night. And on last night hotel room barely cooled off at all. Going thru menopause so AC is crucial! And per my non menopause travel buddy, AC is important to her as well. It would also be nice to be able to grab snacks, sandwiches after 10pm.
Pros (+) proximity to Maho beach & other fun parts of St. Maarten -- you can't beat this location!

Cons (-) For the resort to be all inclusive the food was really bad. This was the case even at the restaurants where you had to make reservations. There were times at the buffet that they didn’t replenish plates which is seemingly a simple task. The pool wasn’t as clean as it should have been and there was one day that my room was not serviced. Pros (+) Nice place and A/C kept the room nice and cool , friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the airport. There were several bars with a large drink menu.
Cons (-) That I had to wait till almost 8pm to check in . I arrived at 7pm and you would think the rooms would be ready to go. Secondly on Saturday night they had 2 restaurants closed for a wedding and a 3rd didn't open till 9pm.
Pros (+) Best part was the location and I was lucky to get one of the newly renovated rooms. Shaquile customer service was excellent! Food was great at the Point and Palms Grill. Airplane feature added great excitement. Tuesday night BBQ was a lot of fun

There was a lot of wastage of food, and when I asked for half portions of items on the menu eg Nachos - I was told they only do full portions....even if I wanted only meat they still gave fries....too much wastage of food that can be managed by the waitress with proper training and simple questions eg do you want fries with both of your orders? etc Gym needs seri...

Pros (+) Rooms were spacious and clean. Water pressure was excellent for showers. Staff were very friendly.
Cons (-) The noise from the construction in process. The closed art gallery on premises. The smoke filled casino.
