Family of four. Room pleasant and clean but in need of redecoration. Gardens in front of the hotel beautiful. Staff pleasant. Not much English spoken, but we didn't ask for them too.
Very hard to find even with SatNav. My son happened to spot the name as we drove past the unsignposted lane the 3rd or 4th time round. Also the hotel bar closed even though my husband and I were still in there.
Perfect peace and quiet. No music in the ceiling!!
Lack of tissues in bedroom, smallness of bathroom
I enjoyed the location with the beautiful garden. The room was a good size and it was quiet. Most of the other guests seemed to belong to a holiday club for pensioners.
Some noise from activities with the holiday club.Felt a bit like being in an old peoples' home.
Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, but not all spoke much English.
Hotel staffs understanding of their internet offering was confused. They started by subscribing us to the local service, which never worked, but the hotel has its own wireless net (reception/lounge area only) and that was okay. Many of the staff did not speak much English, but luckily on the day we arrived the girly working reception spoke excellent English.. an okay hotel for a weeken break.
Location excellent, staff friendly.Approach to hotel and exterior promising but inside it was shabby. Our room was awful, paper peeling off ceiling, badly scuffed walls. TV cable running around door frame to socket. Found it was a hotel for groups of elderly French people not really for independant travellers. Very disappointed.
See above , very shabby and an unwelcoming bedroom.
Overall appearance; location; staff; facilities
Could do ith international tv Channels
It had a car park that was only €7 for the night. Not bad so close to Monte Carlo
Bar. Bedroom. Wifi. Breakfast. Not good!
Elective activities offered; good atmosphere in the foyers and at breakfast on the terrace; good standard of breakfast; charming local French customs displayed in the hotel and park
Not really; the bar served wine in cognqac glasses. Overall we thought it was an authentic, unique and wonderful experience. Our names should have been accurately recorded. My husband is Mr. Jeffrey Hallebone and I am Professor Erica Hallebone. Never mind!
View from the balcony and a nice garden. Possibility for a garage.
Not a three star hotel. Rooms and furniture from a one star hotel. Allmost all of the staff did not speak any English.
Nothing exluding the garden
room is very old and need repair, very expensive, room ii very small
