Pros: I liked the eclectic design of the lobby. the initial greet of Taylor who was well equipped to handle what ever came her way, she checked us in in a jiffy, and our room was ready, as requested. we wanted to check in at 3pm since the hotel in Moab was our destination! Our room was Perfect, big and sound proof apparently. I slept like a baby. comfy sheets, accurate thermostat. the breakfast was lovely: fresh bacon and eggs, and endless coffee, I saw at least 4 employees running in and out making food and checking coffee pot levels. check out was easy. she really didn't need to see me but I turned in my key cards any way. Location was a dream, right in downtown. we will be back in December.

Pros: My room was large and spotless. In-room perks included a sofa seating area and a full kitchen with everything my husband and I needed including cookware, plates, and even dishwasher liquid soap. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable; firm but cushy mattress and soft pillows. The variety of the daily breakfast buffet was also a pleasant surprise; fruit, eggs, bacon, fresh waffles, etc.

Pros: Loved this place. Nice pool, excellent hot tub (with a waterfall). Appreciated the parking garage, which allowed us to avoid the snow and made parking easier. Loved how easy it is to walk to most things in town rather than try to find parking. We really liked the breakfast which had lots of options: oatmeal, eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, waffle maker, yogurt, fresh fruit (berries, apples, I think bananas, and also a melon/grape combo), some pastries, bagels, and hard-boiled eggs. We also appreciated that it was dog-friendly.

Pros: The hotel was close to where I needed to go for a seminar. I loved the location and it was easy to pick up prepared food at the nearby coop grocery store. They also had evening snacks during a hospitality time M to Thur, but i didn't try it due to having my sweet doggy along. I had a balcony with a great view in the evenings.
Staff were very friendly. Sheets were amazingly soft and comfy. Nice well stocked kitchenette with 2 burners and a good microwave.
The fire pit area was a great place to hang out with my dog in the evenings. They had enough outdoor heaters it was cozy, and I enjoyed meeting a few fellow travelers.

Cons: Exhaust fan in toilet area. Larger toilet area with more hooks and a place to put glasses when showering and a place for bathroom reading material. Another door on bathroom sink area so when someone goes at night it is quieter and shuts out the light.

The beds and pillows were also very comfortable; firm but cushy mattress and soft pillows. The variety of the daily breakfast buffet was also a pleasant surprise; fruit, eggs, bacon, fresh waffles, etc.
Cons: The lobby smelled of chlorine possibly because the doorways to the indoor pool were always opening and closing or need better door seals.
10.0 Excellent

We also appreciated that it was dog-friendly.
Cons: Hilton has an option to use a digital key on one's phone, but because we booked through Kayak instead of Hilton Honors, we couldn't connect those somehow. It would be nice to be able to somehow connect the two. That said, we also saw someone who couldn't make the elevator work with his digital key, so maybe it's better to stick to plastic for now. (Your hotel key is required to operate the elevator or to gain access to any of the room hallways from the stairs, which is a nice safety feature.)
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was close to where I needed to go for a seminar. I loved the location and it was easy to pick up prepared food at the nearby coop grocery store. The fire pit area was a great place to hang out with my dog in the evenings. They had enough outdoor heaters it was cozy, and I enjoyed meeting a few fellow travelers.
Cons: There was a lot of road noise at night. But to be fair about that there is one main drag through town with trucking traffic and most hotels are close to the road, so probably also get road noise. The walls are pretty paper thin...i was awakened one night a few times by loud folks in the i think there was some type of party, or returning late from one. Housekeeping completely missed my room one day, didn't restock toilet paper or load dishes to dishwasher. Crumbs on carpet in halls and trash on floors in elevators. The ashtrays outside were overflowing. I don't smoke, but they were so full, i emptied them. I say employees even use them and just leave them full. Seemed like a lot of minor details, but when combined together it was annoying.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and updated.
Cons: One electrical outlet plug was not working. Just a minor thing.

The location was great for me – within walking distance of just about anywhere I wanted to go in the town of Moab. The grassy, shady sitting area outside is an added touch.
Cons: I would have liked an extra privacy curtain on the window. I like to have my windows open at night when the nights are cool, but if I kept the curtains open too, anyone could see in, since all the rooms are right at ground level. I also would have liked to see a recycling wastebasket in each room, but at least there were recycling receptacles at the other side of that grassy area. Not much attention was drawn to them – I can only hope that people take the trouble to take their recyclables over to them.

Cons: I’d like them to provide real silverware, not plastic ware, for breakfast. It’s nice that they have solar panels, but the hotel has lot of plastic waste in the form of forks, knives, and creamer packets. I wanted the bed blanket to be thicker so I don’t have to turn the heat up as high at night. There were no eggs for breakfast both mornings that we stayed there, even though it’s advertised as serving eggs.

Pros: The room was attractive southwest decor and had very comfortable beds and good linens. All the expected amenities one needs for a one night stop including WiFi access. The location was perfect for me as it was on the south side of town with easy continuation of my route. Checkin was quick and clear with easy access to my room. There is a restaurant on site but I did not eat there. The rate was fair and I had a good night’s sleep!

Pros: Big Horn has mid-century decor that is very cool. The problem is, on the whole, it's a little worn around the edges and needs a renovation in my opinion. Great value for the money though. The cleaning staff are superb at this motel, they do the floors in every room after a guest leaves, including a thorough carpet clean. The cleanest carpets I've encountered for a motel. No kidding.

Cons: No elevator.

Pros: The location was great and the beds were quite comfortable. It was also nice to have an actual bathtub!
Cons: The first time I called in, the front desk staff was incredibly rude. It was very strange and somewhat inexplicable because I was just confirming our reservation and wanting to make one small change. All other interactions with staff were quite pleasant.

Pros: It was one of the few that were available for a busy holiday weekend.

Pros: The hotel is close to The Arches - which is where we wanted to go.
Cons: The manager and the staff at River Canyon lodge were the rudest people we have ever met at a hotel. If there were more characters allowed in this review - I would give specific examples. We had a horrible experience and will never go back! Ever!

Pros: They allowed us to check in early which was lovely. It’s so cosy and clean and in a great location. Hot tub was a lovely touch. Amazing value for money.
Cons: Only thing I could recommend is lamps next to the bed. The fluorescent light above the bed is too much to relax with. It would have been nice to have something a little less bright and a little more moody. Certainly didn’t affect our stay though.

Pros: Facility was okay for the money.
Cons: I left behind a bag. When I returned to pick it up, several electronics were missing. When I contacted the hotel, the first clerk said the employee that gave me the bag had a history of taking items. When I called back to follow up, the next clerk told me it is my word against theirs so I am just out of luck.

Pros:
Cons: The room smelled a bit musty and is definitely on a the dated side from a furnishings standpoint.
It was one of the few (just) sub $200/night accommodations available on short notice in Moab for our needs.
I would recommend paying a bit more of a premium and finding a slightly more upscale hotel in the same situation in the future.
Breakfast was just OK with the standard pre made omelets and waffles.. Certainly nothing that would point to making it a go to in the future.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location within walking distance from shops and only 10 minutes drive to the Arches national park. Great for the price.
Cons: Breakfast quality could be improved. Juice machine had water coming out mixed in with the juice. The waffle makers are old and broken.

Cons: We had trailers and we told to park in the rear. Ha! Park out front if you have a trailer. Security is questionable, the TV did't work and it felt like we were going to drop through the bottom of the tub. The door stop malfunctioned constantly.

Cons: The breakfast area could use a little bit of TLC as well as the reception desk. Those are the first things the guests see upon entering and they look nothing like the actual rooms which are absolutely lovely, clean and perhaps even recently remodeled.
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location - just minutes away from Arches national park. However, it is on the far end of downtown so if you want to dine, you have to drive to downtown.
Cons: It wasn't a deal-breaker but I thought the breakfast could improve. Maybe provide some kind of protein (boiled eggs) would have been convenient for grab and go as they just have the small frozen kind of waffle and mini pastry and toast.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the pillows are the best!
Cons: The small amount of creamer and sugar for the free coffee

Pros: The beds were comfy, and the breakfast, while not fancy, hit the spot.
Cons: The hot tub, what we were looking forward to the most after our bike ride, was not hot. Tepid, is how I would describe it. There was an oily film on the surface as well; it was pretty gross. When I told the front desk agent about it, I got no apology, just a shrug of the shoulders saying "we had a guy fix it the other day."

Pros: Nothing
Cons: window wouldn't open, no Kleenex in bathroom no hair dryer ice machine empty
5.7 Okay
Pros: It was reasonably clean and convenient.
Cons: The air conditioner roared so loudly it was hard to sleep. Also, it was awfully expensive for such basic accommodations.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: The walls are super thin. You can hear everything everyone else does. There were black hairs in the bathtub and sink drains and stuck to the wall and curtains with brown smears. The floor was filthy. Even the 2nd day after the room had been "cleaned" again, there was a pile of crumbs in the center of the floor and the hair wasn't removed. There was only 1 bar of soap provided and that wasn't replenished the second day. Note that there are no microwaves or coffee makers in the room, you have to go to the lobby for that. The price was ridiculous for the lack of amenities. Most of the tv channels were staticky also.
5.0 Okay
Pros: close to National Park
Cons: Desk clerks were not the friendliest. They seem more interested in looking at their phones. Ice machine was out on our floor and when I mentioned it, clerk said oh well... a sign was on it the other day.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is great, and pet friendly.
Cons: Our room was set to 54 degrees, mind you it’s only about 30 degrees outside as it is late November. The room looked clean at first glance but a closer look, the bathroom had a sinking floor near the tub where the floor met the tub and the wall in an “L” shape. You could see about 1.5 inches due to the hole. The tub had hair in it, we had no pillow cases, our sheets we dirty and the mattress was stained a red/brown. Once we turned on the heat you could smell that it was pet friendly.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean property.
Cons: The toilet did not work properly, and it took them a couple of days to repair it. There was also trouble with the cable system. A fiber optic cable was cut and all cable service was not working in many of the hotels, but thankfully it was or last night. This property does not have a restaurant nor do they serve breakfast, which means that it was a little pricey for no amenities.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: I liked that my pet could be there, but we couldn’t leave them so I had to take my twenty pound cat on every hike with me.
Cons: The service was awful and there were bugs crawling out of the sink and on the floor. The pool wasn’t even open yet and we had to go to a different hotels pool and it was dirty and my son was bullied by other kids there.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Perhaps not the motel. But the booking. A charge for half the amount. On my AE.card was flagged for ground alert. And showing my charge was declined. When checking in to Motel 6. Now waiting for a new American Express card.z

4.5 Okay
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: The room was not clean. The windows were bolted shut with no fan in the bathroom. KAYAKs website sells single King rooms, but this hotel has ZERO king beds. Paid the price and only got a double bed. Such disappointment.

Pros: Cheap cost, No pet fee
