10.0 Excellent
Pros: They had a full kitchen with all the accessories you could ever need for you use. The kitchen was very well organized. The place was an old mill with much of the equipment still on site. It was very interesting to look at. They had a lot of places to lounge, and even had a small library for your use. It was a creative use of space to turn what use to be a business into living space. A lot of hidden spaces to discover.
Cons: Since the flooring was an old wooden one you could hear when people got up in the middle of the night as the floors creaked.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was nice with multiple pillows. It was like stepping back to the 70's with rustic furniture, and the colored tile stand up shower. The room did have a nice AC/Heat unit, flat screen TV, wifi, microwave, and fridge.
Cons: I unplugged the frig since it was making a bad high pitched sound, and the wifi only worked for about 25% of the time. The employees were great, and I am pretty sure that they would have replaced the frig if I had asked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff (owner?) very helpful and friendly. Select room in rear of motel off the road and it was fairly quiet.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: My brother and I were traveling from Arizona and needed an inexpensive place to stay that wasn't a hole in the wall. This place was excellent for that. A lot of times motels of this era smell badly, have broken fixtures, shabby carpet, dirty bathrooms, insects, etc. The Horsehead is clean, simple, and just right for a stopover near the canyon lands. The proprietor, Jason, even called us while we were traveling to make sure we weren't lost and were still planning to stay. Great experience.

5.7 OK
Pros: Clean. Good bed. Indoor swimming pool. Conveniently located.
Cons: Overall--Nothing special that would make me want to return. Minimal facilities, furnishings, and amenities. Very limited continental breakfast. No fitness equipment. I'll try someplace else next time.
4.2 OK
Pros: There was a pool. Unfortunately it was under renovations so it was closed. Room was spacious.
Cons: Rooms smelled funny. Staff was not very friendly or courteous. Decor left something to be desired and the way the televisions were set up in the room was frustrating as there was no privacy and both were always heard everywhere in the room.

3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The room smelled.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Assigned parking space right next the next, which has the other car's rear bumper near yours, only a few feet away. Staff did not allow me to park elsewhere and rudely told me that I must move the car even the lot is empty.
5.0 OK
Pros: It was available when we needed.
Cons: Dripping faucets, door locks that stick, price was more expensive than I pay in Vegas..
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. comfortable bed and clean room.
Cons: bathroom was small but clean.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, budget price, nice staff. Good home cooking across the street.
Cons: Exactly what we expected for the price. Included paper thin walls so we were kept awake by our neighbor's tv and awakened by their alarm clock.
1.0 Poor
Pros: They finally removed the double charge for the room from our credit card after telling us the card was refused.
Cons: Black mold in shower, broken toilet seat, tiny bathroom, deceptive website and advertising. The hotel double charged our credit card (it was swiped 3 times) . The 3rd swipe denied. We ended up paying cash. Lies were given when confronted.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The price was right and the location good. Our bed was not bad and we slept okay.
Cons: The buildings were old and the Rooms smelled. The AC was very loud, we turned it off and opened the window. The window was old and the spring popped out of its track. There was excessive light coming in from around the window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was very accommodating Very nice people!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Located in a scenic spot.
Cons: Poor maintenance of room in a very old facility. Price was way out of line for the room. Breakfast was a plastic basket with a couple of buns and pieces of fruit.
7.0 Good
Pros: easy to find, staff tries hard with an older motel
Cons: It's dated, old and heavier bedspreads/curtains. I hate to walk on motel carpet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and liked the free breakfast basket
Cons: Loud heater, and A/C. Better left off.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: While the rooms were small -- they were adequate.
