The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and courteous. No
We have stayed in this hotel many times The improvements have been good Garage secure and now has remote control which is much better No
Very convenient, warm welcome, very nice breakfast, comfortable beds, staff very accommodating, able to use garage. Bathroom very small, but we knew this having stayed before; we requested room on first floor (no lift) with shower, because I am partly disabled
Quite close to the ferry harbour. Possibility to park the car in a garage. They allowed dogs. The check-in was a bit difficult, since the reception was not occupied. No lift in the house.
easy access to ferry port, and shops.Very easy to get to different towns Not having a lift, which will be difficult if i had bring my mother with me, but i still enjoyed staying at the hotel
Very friendly hotel
The staff were helpfull and friendly. No
The free parking right outside. The whole hotel is tired and needs money spending on it.
It was clean and comfortable
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, lovely buffet breakfast.
The staff, who were very friendly and helpful. Value for money. Breakfast. Nothing
check in easy. parking secure. lots of hot water. everything we needed was at hand in the room
The room was clean and quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a little warm for our liking, think it was next to the boiler room as the wall was hot! We felt the wine was a little overpriced but they were small niggles and did not spoil our overall enjoyment.
Friendly atmosphere and food excellent
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel close to the ferry port. Evening meal good in hotel restaurant. Ideal for overnight stay before ferry crossing. We did not have buffet but did note that if eating late in evening, choice of buffet items was limited.
Convenience to the ferry, simple, clean room. The trundle bed provided the triple. The electricity went out while dining. We paid the waitress, but we saw several who did not pay and left. I lost the key in the dark, found it and sent it by mail to the hotel. We were in room 31. We were informed it was a triple, the trundle bed was small and cramped, not suitable for an adult, but we used it. It was dark outside getting to our room. Had to use a flashlight to find the keyhole. Nice staff, not much English, but it is France.
Previous occupants had smoked in room, and stale cigarette smoke could be smelt, which was most unpleasant.
easy access to ferry port
Excellent Restaurant Rooms small but confortable, good location
The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff were absolutely lovely. The room was very pretty (we had the "Rome" room), the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We were on the second (top) floor and did not find it noisy at all (others have said it was). There are some very good restaurants in Calais about 15-20 minutes' walk from the hotel. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again. The only complaint we had was that the chap who checked us in offered to bring breakfast to our room the next morning, but it didn't arrive and we ended up going down for it. We weren't particularly bothered as it was clearly a genuine mistake and the only off note in an otherwise very enjoyable weekend.
Unusual family room with the 2 bedrooms seperated by a bathroom which you had to walk through to access the 2nd bedroom. No tv in the main bedroom, poorly stocked mini bar....
friendly welcome, great location, very comfortable. Just what we needed after a long day. would use again
Beautiful house - extremely friendly - everything was spotless - just wish we had been staying longer !
Excellent guest house, which is not necessarily evident from the website. No drink facilities in our room, however we learnt that the previous guests had in fact stolen the coffee maker!
It is a wonderful house, to stay there made you feel a part of France. It is really a magical space and the hospitality is charming and superb. We felt very looked after and yet perfect discretion was kept for a romantic few days away. I dont really understand why there is ambiguity over whether you pay for breakfast. You do. But that said, it is completely excellent and I have never relaxed so much over a hotel breakfast. Complete comfort was felt. On the second morning, one of glorious late autumn sunshine, Jean-Michel took the table onto the patio and gave breakfast in the garden. It was completely delightful. Also breakfast is very flexible, both days we were very late, but we were never rushed and always made to feel welcome. This really was the best.
The owner was very friendly and informative about things to do in the area. The family room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable, my kids loved it.
Fantastic room, beautifully appointed, as was the bathroom. Thoroughly recommend the hotel. Madame Bisschop is a very welcoming hostess and has made all the rooms we saw (3 out of the 4 available) stunning. Breakfast was delicious, (real coffee for the first time during our stay in France this time! ) and beautifully presented. This small hotel has real class. We shall be recommending it. Nothing. Even the parking, which is on the street outside the hotel, was fine. (No comments on website yet about this hotel)
The staff were delightful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a very pleasant breakfast sitting overlooking the garden, a lovely calm start to a pre-Christmas shopping spree.
This is a beautifully restored and stylish old house with lots of personal touches in the themed bedrooms and in the lounge where we were served a tray of tea and coffee. The owners were such a nice couple - extremely welcoming and it was more like staying in a friend's home than in a hotel. We will definitely return there soon. Rather ugly bright blue patterned staircarpet to first floor which didn't really match the rest of the elegant, cream decor of the house. Maybe they were offered a cheap deal!!
Very good location overlooking the sea. Room was warm, comfortable and spacious. Good value for money. Reception staff helpful and polite.Food at restaurant next door excellent and very reasonable. Nothing negative to say.
Nice accomodation very convenient to Calais ports/train. We had 5 rooms - everybody was happy. Good value for money.
Great location, staff friendly.multi channel TV,restaurants nearby, inexpensive,,,,only problem for me was width of single bed otherwise OK
It was a comfortable hotel for a 1 night stop over No Complaints
Helpfulness of reception No Wi-Fi
easy location for the ferries.Enjoyed a walk along the pier before catching the ferry
well located, closed to restaurants, nice welcome N/A
The view of the port. Some of the food at breakfast was unappetising - burnt.
The cooking & fridge facilities combined with a mini kitchen
it was convienient for the ferry port. there were no coffe/tee making facilities in the room. Although the rooms were clean and tidy there was a significant over use of disinfectant which in some circumstances could have caused people with asthma breathing difficulties, as we had to leave the windows open for a significant time as it was quite unbearable. based on the campanile we stayed at prior to arriving at the hotel residence du golf we were extremely disappointed and surprised that it cost much more as the facilities were basic and would border on hostel accomodation and not a two star hotel.
The hotel was new, very clean, comfortable, good vlaue for money and in a good location once you come off the tunnel near Calais-we would highly reccommend it The rooms were a little hot and the air conditioning did not work properly
The ability to have three adults in a room The heat, room could do with a fan it became most uncomfortable with window shut and noise unbearable with window open, we came in October, so dread to think what it would be like in the summer
The location just off the motorway and right next to the Cite Europe shopping and the Channel Tunnel was perfect. Room was very large and comfortable. Good for overnight stay before travelling on. Had to wait almost 15 mins to check-in whilst reception dealt with a small queue of people. Should be other staff available to help. We had just driven for 8 hours to get here and didn't appreciate the wait.
The location is excellent for the channel tunnel, 24 hour reception and spacious comfortable room, plenty of parking. A good night's rest before a long drive south...
easy to find, well placed, quiet
This complex of hotels is very close to the Eurotunnel. Excellent family rooms with possibility to divide the space. Small kitchen unit with kettle, sink, fridge, everything!
Proximity to the Eurotunnel for crossing. Comfort and amenities in the room compared to other "value" hotels in the vicinity.
very comfortable unfortunatley it was very noisy from the road running adjacent to the hotel servicing the eurotunnel shopping area.which spoiled our stay although when i booked i requester quiet rooms
The hotel was spotlessly clean. Very friendly reception. Large comfortable room.
Very clean, modern easily accessible to the tunnel, close to 'Cite Europe' shopping centre and the staff were very helpful & friendly and ample parking. Bathroom could be a little more private and the breakfast was a little expensive for what it was.
The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, the staff were good, the location was very good!
location the carpet in the corridor are very stained and dirty not a very good impression
Hotel was in a good position, the staff very very helpful and pleasant, very welcoming none
Convenience of location to the ferry, restaurants and bars nearby, the room was clean & very efficient service from the staff.
The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The food was surprisingly good. Ideally based for those travellers catching the ferry to the UK.
Well placed for an early ferry departure or a late arrival in france. rooms basic but have all necessary facilities. Car parking arrangements are a bit hit and miss.
Location for bars & restaurants
very close to some fantastic restaurants,a market and a fish market.plenty of parking.staff very helpful and hotel itself spotless. fair amount of traffic noise
One assumes something about staff at cheap transit hotels, may be tired, a little matter of fact, not all that pleased to see you? and that's kind of OK because you're not paying much and so on. But the guy at the Ibis was really nice, pleasant and really seemed to actually give a monkeys. in all, great location, good price, very passable food (even at midnight) and yeah, really really good staff. Nothing, its actually pretty good.
Very welcoming, good breakfast
Staff were very helpful & good location of hotel with easy parking
convenient location, close to shops and restaurants It is not inviting hotel with a warm feeling one would like.
night porter service no tea making facilities in the room. We would have paid extra to get them.
it was very clean and all staff spoke good english when in the bar it was to quite ,some background music would be nice
Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and friendly, helpful staff.
Very convenient for town and beach, bedroom clean but old fashioned, and quite small. Very delapidated exterior.,very dated inside. Could do with a refurb.
Access to the town and short distance from Eurotunnel
Clean,comfortable easy access to port
Nothing, really... The hotel is in decay, really poor and unconfortable.
This hotel is very good value for money. the room was clean tidy and basic and thats all you pay for. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the third time i've stayed here.
Restaurant menu needs revising many of the items on the menu were not available
very close to eurotunnel, nice enough rooms, lovely breakfast, staff friendly, stayed twice now so pleased with hotel
24 hour manned reception.
We came late and slept as we were driving early the next morning
dinner offers food very good mould on wall in bedroom television located too high up to view not a good reception on english channels room needs upgradeing
Convinient to the Port. staff good nice bar
The hotel staff were just about the best I have ever experienced at a motel style hotel, the food was great, well presented and varied choice available.
The staff were friendly, excellent location, wasnt noisy, very clean and comfortable. Great value for money.
We will stay there again. It suited our needs perfectly as a place to stay for one night in central Calais. It is very nice being opposite the park and we liked having a small balcony. The yard in which we parked our car is secure and private. The owner, Benoit Grancier is charming and very helpful. Very close to tunnel/ferry. The shower stall needs a curtain or the shower head should be repositioned as the water drips onto the bathroom floor. There should be a thick bathroom mat for this purpose and also to stand on when leaving the shower. Thicker and larger towels would be nice too. A toilet brush should be available to the guest. The TV does not have a remote control.
Very friendly and helpful staff Clean renovated old room, modern bathroom Generous breakfast During the season the parking could be a problem
seemed very run down
generally claen & comfortable beds a little uncomnfortable
Hotel was spotless, especially the bathrooms, which are very nice. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurts and bread and croissant. I don't know why he took the booking if he didn't have the rooms we requested.
Do not be put off by the outside its been refurbished excellent value for money
Very helpful and courteous staff. The location was ideal, the adjacent park very beautiful; breakfast was excellent! I am sure facilities will be much improved after their in-process work on the building! No hair dryer or shower, only iron tub w/ handheld wand.
Room comfortable and warm on a cold night.Bathroom facilities excellent Hotel is being renovated and bare plaster walls etc not exactly welcoming. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities a dissappointment
helpful staff, good location very noisy at weekend till 2am
Very handy for all shops and resturants toilet and shower room needs some attention
good location, close to bars and restaurants
Central location Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but late on Saturdaynight the local clubs had noisy patrons leaving at 03-00. Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel to avoid this.
My stay at the hotel was for 1 night only so I dont think I experianced the full features but the best feature by far was the friendlyness of the staff, polite and helpfull. The whole hotel is in desperate need of full renovation and modernisation in all areas. Parking is expensive and very limited. What appears to be a permanent fun fair outside the hotel is very noisy till very late.
Fantastic location. Lovely balcony room overlooking the square. Very charming Night Porter (possibly the manager/owner), who made us feel very welcome as we went out for the night and saw us totter back across the square, having the door open with a broad smile. Personable.
Convenient location for ferry port pleasant staff & great breakfast
found with ease (opposite market square) clean affordable room continental breakfast was good although the coffee could have been hotter but hey...no big deal for the price, I found this hotel 2 star, in price 3 star in value
nothing it was old ans smelt of damp
The friendly staff , Cheap price and the location of the hotel for shops, Bars and restaurents.
Bonus having a pool and proximity to eurotunnel, which was the reason we chose that hotel It was as expected for the price paid and enough for a 1 night stay. Changing room for the pool/gym was very small and lockers did not work and it seems that on a Fri evening many locals use the facilities
Comfortable and well equipped
Restaurant- staff not very good, dinner- good menu, high prices, but food was not very hot (we did not complain at the time)
Very friendly staff and good service. The swimming pool. The breakfast was not as good as expected
The room was clean and felt airy, being a tall person it was a pleasure to have a large bath.
Close to cap blanc nez and gris nez.
Good location for the tunnel
The surroundings were very relaxing. two minutes from town but backing onto fields We found the swimming arrangements very formal and strict. not very relaxing
Hotel comfortable and warm, food good especially evening meal.Hotel is very convenient to The Tunnel and Cite Europe but is in peaceful location.I Enjoyed the swimming. The pool was very clean and warm and staff were excellent. As we are of a certain age(69 and 70) we found the seating in our room was uncomfortable it would be nice to have had a couple of easy chairs
Good location nice facilities We were on 2 days half board and the set menu was the same on both evenings we had to upgrade on the second evening as my husband is allergic to cheese and there was only one choice of starter without. Also we found the service slow for those on set menu when we upgraded it was much quicker. The restaurant was not busy on either night so this was not the reason.
nothing, the hotel room smelt terrible and didnt finish our stay there the room smelt mouldy, bed was hard and uncomfortable, no tea and coffee as described furniture was inadequate.
Only there one night. Close to bars and restaurants. Quite basic but clean and comfortable. Excellent value. No dining area at all so breakfast had to be served in your room. (Some people would clearly like that).
Large room for family of 4 (2 doubles and room for travel cot). 5 minutes from Ferry terminal, late check in until 11pm - we were still on the ferry at 10.30 pm so called in - staff friendly and didn't seem to be concerned we may be late.
Staff was helpful, room was fine. Wew arrived at 4.45pm, in the rain, by a cab, as we had advised when we made the booking. Hotel was closed until 6.30 pm (actually opened about 6.45). Hotel management advised that the fact of not opening on Sunday until 6.30 was on the web site. We never accessed the web site, and relied on yopu. Since you knew we were arriving at 5 pm, and the hpotel said you know they were closed 8until 6.30, you ought of have told us, or not accepted the booking.Fortunately, staff and patrons in a neighbouring restaurant were helpful. I consider the problem to be that of your booking service, not the hotel.
Clean. Reception was good Old fashioned and very noisy and no car park facilities
close to ferryport and bars/restaurants but in a quiet street. good value for money and classic french decor!
clean rooms no shower in bathroom
Easy acess to city
the bed was great. very firm, very nice. the room was scrupulously clean. i liked having breakfast in the room. the room was not the least bit luxurious. but it was clean and a good value for the price. no real bathroom door on the WC--just a plastic bi-fold door that ended about six inches above the floor.
Quiet location, near shops
Most wonderful host, room was beautifully designed. We stayed in the Bombay room. Nothing
The owner and hostess was extremely friendly. She greeted us with a charming smile and an unbelievable amount of patience for our butchering of the French language. The rooms were surprisingly large and wonderfully decorated with an overwhelming attention to detail. Even the toilet roll holders fit the themes of the respective rooms. It was comfortable and had a decent selection of Television programs. The hotel is situated in a quiet area but at the same time about a 2 minutes drive from the Ferry Port to Dover. Furthermore, it is in 5 - 10 minute walking distance from a cluster of restaurants, which boasted a variety of foods from different countries. All in all, the hotel stay was a beautiful surprise and is worth a trip alone.
the suite was creatively decorated to the theme of the name (Bombay Suite = indian decorations and music). we were made to feel very welcome and it had a relaxed atmosphere. it was quite and cosy and could be romantic. We could not book in before 4.30 and this was a bit of a problem as we were on foot and had to carry our luggage around all day until we could check in. the outside of the building looks somewhat ambiguous but inside is amazing!! a gem in the midst of a grey Calais town centre.
The owners were charming and had spent a lot of time and energy decorating our roo in Moroccan style. Very clean and comfortable. Restaurants in a square around the corner but all were bad tourist traps. better to go further afield if you are looking for proper french food.
Sandrine made us feel really welcome and was really accommodating when we arrived with an unexpected extra visitor. The rooms we stayed in were absolutely amazing. I would definately recommend it for couples who want to experience something a bit different.
Nice room, nice bathroom arranged with lots of taste. All is very clean, it was a pleasure to stay there. Little details that make pleasure, such as nice candles, good smelling towels... Very friendly person that holds the hotel. All goes together, nothing to complain about! Nothing!
The decor was beautifully done right down to the last detail. The food was great. Fantastic atmosphere and 10/10 for all the small touches. I loved it and would definately stay again.
I totally enjoyed the themes. Well done, I would certainly stay there again.
This was a teriffic surprize. Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay. I would enthusiasticly recommend this hotel.
Great little B&B, very central. We had the Agadir suite which is huge. Great attention to detail in Moroccan decor. Sandrine, the proprietress, is very friendly and welcoming. Parking in street is no problem. If you are stopping off in Calais without children, then this is a must!
The breakfast was good value for money One of the rooms smelt of smoke
convenience to port and location to centre
friendliness of the staff No mirror in the bedroom!
It was warm on a cold night. The receptionist was pleasant. We could park the car close to the entrance. It was value for money We did struggle to locate the hotel when we came off the ferry from England. My wife would have liked a lift to reach the first floor as she has a painful foot at the moment
Again, we were staying in room No 226 on June 10, same as June 8, 2010. So, all good points were still the same - cosy, comfortable, warm - could be chilly during summer nights and early mornings, but the room heater solved this issue. Despite the duty manager told us on June 6 (upon our check-out) how to log onto their Balladins internet "Eucopia", we could not make it work again ! We followed the duty manager's instruction on how to log onto internet, yet, their Eucopia postmaster never cared to send us (our mobiles) the password for us to log onto internet ! - no matter how many times we tried, we never received their reply with password for log-on !
I organised for myself and 5 friends to stay at Hotel Balladins as it was the nearest hotel to attend the Calais "Swamp Blues" festival at le Centre Culturel Gérard Philipe. For our needs, the hotel was perfect. Clean, low cost, very modest, but all that we needed. The hotel staff over the weekend were noticeably pleasant and helpful (and spoke good English!). We also liked being able to buy a decent coffee in the breakfast room without having a whole breakfast. Booking was easy on-line. My friends commended me for finding Hotel Balladins Calais. I will try to book their again next year! Just suggestions: Let people use the brekfast area as a lounge/meeting room during the day - perhaps a corner with more comfortable chairs and a TV. Alternatively, use the entry hall area more creatively. Small suggestions - they won't stop us staying!
I was charged more than quoted when I booked on your web site.
Staff were extremely friendly and for a 1 star hotel, the cleanliness and comfort was exceptional. Overall a very enjoyable experience for a stop over.
This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel - the reason being that our usual hotel was fully booked. As an alternative we were pleasantly suprised. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. We would not hesitate to come here again. Very good value for money No kettle to make a drink and no extra pillows!
easy to find and central location, good description how to find hotel
Clean, convenient, friendly, inexpensive. Good breakfast
A friendly clean budget price hotel right in the centre of Calais which means you can splash out a bit on an excellent dinner! The bar opposite can be a bit noisy as due to the smoking ban, everyone stands outside!
Touring the local area
good size room, friendly staff, very central location and very close to the port, fantastic shower :)
Local to Eurotunnel Door lock system (code numbers)
Used the Hotel as stop over before driving to Germany. Hotel offered good value for money, Used Garage.
ideal location for town centre nightlife, close to beach bathroom was very small and breakfast was overpriced
Cleaniness of the hotel and its value for money
Clean and well presented. Very helpfull staff. Bar opposite kept us awake until 3 am. Breakfast was late serving.
The location, close to bars and restaurants. Television, have stayed previously and had acess to uk channels, on this stay no acess to uk television channels.
Staff were so lovely the beds were huge and very comfortable! Bit strange having the shower at the end of the bed but very convenient and good value for money None
This is the most disgusting place I have ever entered. I am most dissappointed with Booking.com. I have relied on their services for several years when travelling around europe with my children and have always trusted that any Hotel on their site will be clean and decent even if it is Basic. Le Deltaplane is DISGUSTING!!!!! It smells, the paint and wallpaper is peeling, the windows in the rooms we had would not shut, we were covered in bites which were not mosquito bites the next morning.
The hotel was cheap. The room was not clean, sheets were missing on some of the beds, breakfast was not ready in time (we had to leave for the ferry before we ate our breakfast), there was only one shower and one toilet for the whole hotel and the shower was smelling very badly.
Absolutely nothing. The place was absolutely filthy and extremely noisy. Do not stay here. It is noisy, filthy and falling apart. The room had two singles pushed together with a double sheet that was not wide enough to cover them. The sheet was sandy, as were those on the bunk beds used by the children. The toilet was shabby, down the hall and had a poo in it when we arrived. The floor was filthy and the curtains did not obscure the streetlights from directly outside the window. In the room below some kind of snooker/pool party was carrying on all night and still going on when we finally gave up trying to sleep at 4.50am. Throughout the night other "guests" were making a lot of noise, including disproportionate number of small children considering we arrived at 10pm. Revolting.
Restaurant and staff ok No Parking, very poor quality room, not particularly clean
it was a very bad hotel not clean at all
Breakfast was not served in time
The hotel is family run, The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly to everyone .
Pleasant friendly staff, good food, easy access, very 'local' and interesting. Bed comfortable. 2Nd floor room, stairs narrow and steep. No en-suite except for a washbasin (1 dirty 'weak' shower for all rooms on the 2nd floor, one general toilet for guest use on 1st floor - usually engaged). Needs redecoration. 220V socket loose, cover falling off exposing connections - dangerous.
convenient and friendly
Great food excellent service great wine list
one is forced to have a bad quality, uncharitable, overpriced dinner in the restaurant
The ooms were good value & the retaurant excellent. The booking condition that required you use the hotel restaurant for your evening meal.
Clean tidy warm Booked half board which was cancelled last minute by booking office. Arrived 7pm. Nto exactly late! No one on reception just a note with key & request to lock entrance door when finally in. Not that breakfast would be at 8.30am - ridiculosely late if catching early ferry. Had to leave without breakfast. No instructions on where to park car. Large gate blocking entrance. Had to get behind through side door to unbolt. Very difficult to pull bolts and gates jambed on rough ground. On parking had to lock gates. At 8.30 am one one on reception & restaurant locked. Beating on door had no result had to go outside & beat on another external door several minutes. Just about to leave when Guy opend door. Was very unpleasant when I complained, said he had been up an hour!
It's in a good location, out of Calais, and with car parking facilities which are vital as far as we are concerned. The restaurant only serves until 9.30 and we were unfortunately delayed in our arrival - not all of us can just run out of the door on the dot of 5 o'clock! There was not so much as a crust of bread offered, more an attitude of "your own stupid fault".
The location, noisy so couldn't leave the window open and room was uncomfortably hot. I did not read the 'small print' - my fault I know and did not like being forced to eat at the hotel that evening. The meal was good but the most expensive of our entire holiday.
The choice & quality of the food, particularly for Dinner. Car parking facility, the general ambience of the hotel and the wit of M. le Patron. The reputation of Logis de France is enhanced. Perhaps the title , Les Dunes, implied that it was nearer the sea than in fact was the case, but nevertheless it was still convenient.
Good meal The hotel was just fine
Close to the Eurotunnel and to the beach. Friendly staff, good meals.Dog friendly. The rooms close to the main road are a little bit loud, because of the material of the road.
Cheap and convenient location The room was feeezing when we arrived - we could hardly get to sleep!
Clean, good customer service, very secure (4 meter fences around hotel and car park and code access) Room very small and claustraphobic, very unimaginatives old building (like a concrete cell)
Quiet Restraunt not open even though it was listed as one of the facilities Reduction in facilities not really compensated for by lower price than others
Room was newly refurbished and clean. Room And ensuite small but OK for the price. Breakfast was normal help your self buffet with good choice but expensive. Good for a short stay but not for a holiday. Your website refers to the good restaurant but fails to mention that it is closed Sat & Sunday. For anyone arriving as we did this was a major dissapointment as it was difficult to find anywhere near to eat.
location and value food
Clean, comfortable, warm, inexpensive Cramped, lack of evening meal
Very helpful and freidnly staff, good cuisine Despite of it being freezing outside, the room was not heated when I checked in at 6.30pm. As there was only one small heater that worked (the one in the bathroom unfortunately did not), it took the whole night for the room to become warm and cosy.... Which obviously did not contribute to an enjoable stay- sorry
Clean, excellent late check in facilities, value for money, easy to find, excellent breakfast I had a little trouble with the website
Good location for Tunnel and ferries. The restaurant was not open when we arrived (20.00) but the reception told us of a restaurant nearby.
