A quiet haven in noisy narrow streets, in a good position for most of the sights.
the staff were really freindly.
This newly renovated hotel is an oasis of calm in the midst of the endless bustle of Naples. It is located right in the centre of the old part of the city, in easy walking distance of all major attractions, and a number of excellent local restaurants. It has wonderful facilities and helpful staff, and is an ideal place for a visit to Naples. Highly recommended.
Nice staff, clean room, internet working well. No restaurant in the hotel, ugly surrounds with very narrow streets and no parking available.
Rooms are spacious, clean and well built and maintained. Stay away of the Single Bed, it is small (that's normal in Italy), my suggestion is to book a double room even if traveling alone. Service was excellent. I work in the Travel Industry and I have been to hundreds of hotels Palazzo Decumani ranks high in my personal 4-stars list.
The Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The hotel was near the centre of Naples and easily accessed by train and bus.Great hub for visiting Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Initially difficult to find - address not located on local maps and some cab drivers had great difficulty finding it.
reat staff, very helpful. Good english and the place is new, only two months open. Very large rooms, close to the city center, Nathion Museum, churchs.
It was very quiet and clean with great rooms/bathrooms. Very safe. Unfortunately the location of the hotel in the Centro Storico part of Napoli means that while the hotel is very safe the actual district is not so safe or good for tourists (dark, narrow streets). I am a seasoned traveller and am not usually fazed -but this time I felt a bit anxious moving about. Maybe thats just Napoli ...?
Good location - close to the old part of town. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Location is Perfect! Easy to go by foot to the old center and shopping area. Free parking!!! The selection for breakfast is not so wide but everything is perfect! The modern hotel just opened. Everything is high level!
The room was clean. The location was also good. Breakfast nice but area a little small One of the hotel staff was not helpful at all with site seeing question as we only had one day and wanted to make the best out with a day tour. She really didn't help, and was asking us what we wanted to see rather than telling us what is there to see. Yet another person in the evening was very helpful. Wish we could talk to him in the morning. He sent us to one of the best sites of Naples allowing us to have a panoramic view
Great location - right next to Piazza Bellini and in the heart of Centro Storico. The hotel is an oasis of calmness and neatness in the hectic (and dirty) city.
1. the room I had was very spacious 2. they had a fast ethernet connection in my room and an ethernet cord. 3. there was a shared computer available 4. lots of storage space 5. about 15 built in hooks on the walls throughout the room that were very handy actually. 6. very nice multilingual staff 1. my sheets had definitely been washed but there remained a stain. i think that set of sheets should be retired. 2. some of the breakfast rolls were fresh, some were not. 3. the shutters for the window could not close completely, so sunlight came in the room before i was ready to wake up.
We liked the location, the comfort and the design of the hotel. It is a really good value for money We only regret the limited number of TV programmes (no international broadcast but only italian
the hotel location was perfect (near major sight but in a less hectic neighbourhood); the resturant next door was recommendable; overall room was confortable one can see quite some design efforts into it but some basic can be better maintained (e.g. the breakfast room was a bit dirty after first round), the room given to us was facing the major street which is a bit noisy and ond had to close window - considering there are so many rooms facing the inner yard and we had booked 4 nights in a row, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't give us a nicer room (but was too lazy to complaint after the first night)
I especially liked the location and the staff all spoke English and were very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to go back again. I loved the breakfast buffett, and I especially liked the security. I can't think of anything I did not like about Hotel Pizza Bellini.
Avante garde in safe neighborhood of Naples. 15 mins to airport. Room was tremendous, clean and comfrotable.
Large, modern, air conditioned room; friendly, helpful staff. Difficult to find entrance.
The hotel facilities are good and clean, despite the fact that the building is old. It is located in the center of the city, at walking distance from de Museum and restaurants. The breakfast is very poor. Excellent for one night stay.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The free wifi was very useful. The room was a good size with a bath not just a shower. The view from the balcony of both vesuvius and the bay was great. Staff were very freindly and helpful. The breakfast was a little repetative.
The location was great. The breakfast was good and the staff was courteous and very helpful with our lost baggage. The shower was only a drip.
Small, quiet, elegant boutique hotel, staff was friendly and eager to help. Absolute find.
Clean rooms with a nice swimming pool area. Breakfasts were good with a nice selection of cheeses, ham, fruits and cereals and very good coffee. It had a very central location - a couple of minutes walk to the piazza bellini and also the historic centre.
Location; quietness once in the hotel; friendly personnel Bathroom a bit outdated; junior suite was on two levels, in the lower level one hears the phone ringing in reception - also at night. Actually ringing should be changed by flashing light
Very clean, nice and comfortable room and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast offerings. Good value for the money and great location in old section of Naples. No.
A real oasis in the heart of Naples. Hidden away from the chaotic colourful streets. Surprisingly quiet, tucked at the back of a courtyard - easy walking to museums, shops, Duomo , Piazza Dante. Only drawback is braving the rain as some of the upstairs rooms have outside access!
Peace and quite in a very noisy and congested city.
The location was perfect for seeing the historic city center area. Near shops and restaurants. Hotel was quiet in the midst of a very bustling city. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice junior suite with mezzanine bedroom and small terrace overlooking garden; friendly cat; good location, good breakfast by continental standards.
the comfort and the atmosphere, family style there was a leak in one of the toilet facilities, which was not repaired during our stay and we were not offered another room.
Room wasn't cleaned when I checked in. The Internet doesn't work. Staff was very unprofessional. I have no idea how this is a 4 star hotel, more like 2 or 3.
The staff were extremely pleasant and the location was good, though the hotel was a little hard to find. The room I was given was of a good size and the bathroom was fine. My room looked over a rather rundown courtyard were the neighbours would enjoy extremely loud shouted conversations, which seriously disturbed the tranquility! I was not impressed by the buffet breakfast. It was great if you likke lots of sticky, gooey sweet things for breakfast, but the choice of other things was limited to a couple of cold meats, one cheese, bread and apples. It was a adequate, but I would have expected very much better from a four star hotel.
The hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating. The air conditioning unit broke down in the room on the second night, we were moved to another room without question. It was a noisy room, but the air conditioning was good. The square the entrance of the hotel was in was dirty, rubbish was piled up in containers at the entrance of the square, it was very smelly. Although the hotel had signs for a roof terrace, it wasn't open and looked as if it needed work done to it. We found a bar nearby for refreshments, but had to ask where the nearest restaurant was, that was 15 minute walk away. I would question the 4 star rating of this hotel, it didn't measure up to other 4 star hotels we have stayed at in other countries.
Very helpful staff, a very good location in the heart of the old town, but quiet and relaxing too. NO
Right in the heart of Naples. Very comfortable hotel and very helpful staff.
location in middle of the historic centre (although the historic centre of Naples is pretty dirty and a complete mess). However, the more beautiful parts of the city are elsewhere (e.g. closer to the port next to the castle). Staff members were friendly though. rooms (dark, somehow uncosy, cheap and unstable equipment, no safe, only little number of satellite programs, one radiator as heating: not enough to heat up the room accordingly, stationery: broken pencil); breakfast (little choice); too expensive for what was offered.
It was easy to go shopping from here and there were close a bus-stop if I wanted to go other part of the city. Room was quiet and big enough. Breakfast is till 10am, but if we arrived at 9.30 am or later there were not enough food and they couldnt bring us more. Bathroom was a bit small and the toilet looked not clean. Hotel area is very dirty and mornings aeroplanes fly above the hotel with big noise.
The hotel is in the heart of the historical centre. Breakfast was sufficient and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very quiet hotel and a good night sleep had by all. Luckily we were only using our room to sleep in as we were exploring the city from morning till night. We had a very tacky 'family' room no. 207 which had no natural light and although a very clean room was let down by the black mold growing on the wall. It was a shame really because we looked in one of the suites which was on the front of the building and this looked really nice. Roof terrace was closed and looked run down, maybe only open in the summer months!
staff very helpful. Breakfast good. Hotel well decorated. Good mix of clients, all ages and several nationalities. room at front of hotel - noise from traffic. Room at back of hotel lovely and quiet.
The room, the en suite bathroom, the location, the staff and our room was quiet Nothing
The hotel was located in the Historical/shopping area of Naples-very convenient.
Great staff, large rooms, creative art throughout.
Lovely decor, big room, easy walking distance to sights in Naples, free use of internet, friendly location, big breakfast room/communal area and even a little kitchen. Traffic meant I had poor night's sleep on the Saturday night. My companion couldnt sleep because of traffic noise on the Sunday night. The single bed, on the gallery, had no ventilation so got quite stuffy since we had to shut the main window because of the noise at night. We both had slightly upset stomachs after eating the breakfast and ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. I think it might have been the coffee or the hot milk but we weren't there long enough to test it out - a shame as the breakfast was copious and varied. The website said there was a free shuttle to the airport but there wasnt.
front door locked at night but bell did not work; had to call neighbors to call hotel to let us in and this was a challenge because we didn't speak italian; scary neighborhood after nite; lots of motorcycle noise late into the nite
Very friendly, excellent location, comfortable
Good location, modern hotel styling Internet not working. Didn't manage to get reception to book a custom tour four us.
Location and very original hotel
A lovely, modern hotel. Interesting building. The photos don't do justice to the rooms. The rooms are really clean, bright and spacious. Helpful staff. Good value for money. Great coffee. A good but simple buffet breakfast, Nothing that I did not like, but be aware that the services are fairly basic. A mini bar in the room but no services other than breakfast. No way of getting hot drinks or snacks. There is however a great coffee bar and ample snacks just around the corner from the hotel. We had children with us. The area was OK, for Naples, but I wouldn't have wanted to be out late in the evenings. Quite tricky to find when you first arrive in Naples.
One of the girls working at the reception was very friendly and cheerful, even though she didn`t speak English Where to start? Twice in 4 days we had no hot water. Only one of the hotel staff spoke good English. Very, very poor breakfast and even worse coffee. It was very noisy, both outside and inside the hotel. They don`t deserve 3 stars, it was more like 1,5. The area is like whole Naples - dodgy.
Coffee especially good. Made properly for a change!
location, windows into a courtyard - so very quiet, friendly staff, laid back poor breakfast
Clean hotel and very friendly staff, Nice neighbourhood.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help us with all of our random questions. I also loved that the hotel was air conditioned, as it is in Naples, which can be very hot. The water pressure in the shower was very bad after the first day. However, we did not mention it to the staff, so they may have been able to remedy it if we had asked. (We were only there for 3 days.)
very helpful staff
Relaxed atmosphere. Good price. Friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel is located near the National Archeological Museum, the Duomo and other churches of interest, and the Cavour Metro Station. The two rooms that I occupied -- the first room was vacated to allow bathroom repairs to proceed -- were quiet. Free wifi, with good reception in the breakfast area and in rooms located near breakfast area. Rooms are small.
the warm breads and croissants A liitle more on the breakfast would be nice
Very good value for money. Owner insisted on us having breakfast, even though we got up too late! Front desk check in was not very friendly.
Excellent value for money, beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. Situated close to the central train station and the area around looks a bit dodgy.
Breakfast is good
The hotel was like an oasis. Very good, modern design, very comfortable roome and a delightful courtyard in the middle of a so-so area of Naples. I can't think of anything.
Nice and quiet, they must have put a lot of effort into soundproofing. The building is very elegant. Receptionists are a bit offhand, but that seems to be the Naples style.
Breakfast is fantastic. The hotel has a big courtyard and view from the room is nice. The interior is also cool. The hotel is renovated an old nobles mansion, and we could relax in spite of the outer noisy area. I didn't feel the area safe especially at night. Far from the central station and Naples port.
Excellent all round Just the location with all the rubbish on the streets !
In my opinion, this hotel is very good. The people working in this hotel are very warm-hearted and very professional. I feel very happy to stay here for one week.
roof terrace poor breakfast
Comfort, nice rooms, nice breakfast, helpfull staff
The service, the hospitality, the quick response to issues raised during our staying. We also appreciated the position relative to the turistic town..
Room was large and clean and hotel was close to airport. Good place if you need to sleep somewhere before a flight. Dont expect much more than a decent room without any service or help. The staff were terrible! So rude and couldnt have been less helpful. We are not picky travellers but the staff just made it seem like it was a major chore to do their job! Also there isn no restaurant contrary to what the website says. Not a great area but to be honest we did not find Napoli to be anything other than dumpy anyway. You could probably find a hotel in the area for the price less the miserable staff
everything excellent especially the staff who were outstanding, the room a little small like my complaint
omfor and cleanliness of room
Proximity to the Naples Airport No Airport Shuttle. Breakfast buffet was minimal at best
Classy hotel. good breakfast, lovely shower room.beautiful roof terrace. lively location Noise in street necessitated double windows. told air conditioning on but woke feeling suffocated. didnt complain about this as male receptionist unhelpful.
The staff in general was not friendly. When we handed a 100 euro bill to the attendant, he thought it was fake and even showed to other guests, saying that it was probably fake. He examined it for at least 5 minutes in front of us and other people around. Before ginving him the money, we tried to pay with credit card, but he did not want to accept.
Convenience to Airport. The neighber hood is marginal.
The hotel is located in a building built in the 1600's but the rooms are very modern and comfortable. The best feature was Maxim, the manager, who gave us wonderful advice on places to eat and see in Naples and made us very comfortable while visiting in his city. We were not prepared for the first impression of the building where the hotel is located when our taxi dropped us off. We found that in Naples the exterior of most buildings are no reflection of what you may find inside and were very pleasantly surprised once we were in the hotel.
The nice rooms, the spaceous bathrooms, well designed and beautifully decorated, the distance of the location to museums and the university. I would rather classify it as a Boutique B&B than as a hotel.
The room was comfortable, spacious. The breakfast had several offerings. Maxime, the manager, was gracious and very helpful. The location took some getting used to. Hard to find street. The climb up 3 levels of stairs with luggage might prove difficult for some people.
Very high quality forniture / refurbishment, the common room for breakfast is a stucco room and looks more like a private living room (with couches and flat screen further to the tables) than a breakfast room since it's in a period building, there is no lift anyway the manager carried the luggage downstairs for us
The building was stunning, room excellent and the manager most attentive. Nothing.
I like the beauty of the palazzio, the original paintings on ceiling in the room and in the dining room. We had the impression not to be in an hotel but to live in real Napoli area.
It was a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming hotel. The staff were very friendly; it was all you would expect from a hotel.
Clean, comfortable, unique and lovely design, lovely staff
Great manager, lovely rooms, excelent breakfast, great location. Wonderful hotel for those fit enough to walk up the stairs - not for the diabled.
The manager was at our beckon call. He was very helpful in every way. It was a hard to find-"off the beaten path"-even for the taxi driver from the airport. The button at the gate to the courtyard of the hotel needs to be labeled better especially at night.
The location of the hotel is very bad, not really safe and in a building with families. There is no one there when you need something. For example when your room does not close and people enter in it in the middle of the night........ And to do everything perfect they also give you a ticket to have a breakfast in a place which is close..... We really did not have a good time there!
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the old town. The staff were very rude. They were particularly unwelcoming due to the fact that we were travelling with a child. The hotel is on the third floor and does not have an elevator. The hotel is located in a very rough alleyway off the old town. Despite claiming to be a bed and breakfast, the hotel only gives a token for a cafe around the corner for a brioche and a coffee. That's a 2 Euro breakfast! This is the worst B+B I have staryed in for a long time!
good location in the middle of the city no heating
The rooms are excellent. The location is excellent, in the middle of the mediaeval city centre on a typical narrow street, amidst original Napolitan family life. You get your typical Italian (one piece of pastry and a cup of coffee) in the famous pasticceria of Angelo Carbone (directly round the corner). Some excellent (and really non-expensive restaurants and trattorie are directly around (pizzeria Gino Sorbillo, trattoria da Carmine, ristorante al Grifo). The reception is always closed, you need to telephone in order to make contact (bring your mobile phone!) and the staff do not keep their promises. Rooms are cleaned at irregular intervals as is the renewal of towels and the quality of cleaning varies also. You need to climb stairs to get to your room and the reception, as the elevator is strictly private (for he staff).
Very nice location & accomodation, friendly staff, and kind helpfull neighbours, Nobody at the location, with help of neigbours we reached the owner, this could be solved by putting recent gsm number on the door. (must say, we made a late reservation.) Unfortunaly very hard matresses and only cold water, but for one night ok!.
A good location in the centre of historical center. For Naples the location was quite quiet. Difficult to find the hotel - especially during the night. Although you see the odd numbers on the right side of the street, the hotel is on the top of the street on its left side, a third house from the crossroad.
Walking up 96 steps with luggage after a long air flight as well as each time we had to leave for the day. Breakfast 3 blocks away from the rooms. A 4 square foot shower.
Breakfast and location, room facilities Non English speaking staffs.
all a very very good, compliments..
I was very close to real life of city... It's not a hotel....It's Bed&Breakfast spot.
