Pick up took too long. For being non-airport, we waiting forever to get into the car. Check it was easy but took over 20 mins for the car to come out. The car was in decent condition but the tires were very bad. They were almost bald on the inside of the front tires. Could be dangerous as we did quite a bit of highway driving. The dash had not been dusted. Overall we loved the car and drop off was easy. Good value.

My issue is with the car selection through Kayak or Expedia, I believe I started on Expedia and was somehow led to Kayak. In large text it stated intermediate size but in small text it said several other things including "electric." It wasn't brought to my attention until Avis tried giving me an electric car. There's no way I would've intentionally requested that!! The man who helped me was great but all they had was a large pick-up truck. It worked out but be aware of the small print. The man at Avis was excellent! Very fast, efficient and knowledgeable!!!

Pros:

Neither pick up or drop off was great. The worse is that instead of getting the compact car I requested, I had to drive a SUV (1st time doing so) for 3 days, several hundred miles. And had to wait for 10 minutes to turn car over at airport when done. Also couldn't get tail gate to lift, finally did but not easy. Ad car was only 3/4 full...

I had a one way rental from Naples Florida to Charleston South Carolina. On both ends it was seamless. Both pick up and drop off were painless. The car was clean, comfortable , ready at pick up and super easy to drop off. Both agents were very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for a great experience

This was the only avenue for getting a car during March due to spring break and the influx of travelers due to Florida's open state status. We appreciated the price and the ability to return on the other coast of Florida.

Pros:

Car was clean. Drop off was easy

Cons:

Pick up was poor. Received email directing me to pick up location at ritz Carlton that had been closed for months. Wasted 25 minutes going there to be directed back to original pick up location. Car was ready over an hour later than reserved.

Cons:

On the day I was supposed to pick up the rental, I called to see if I can get the car early. Instead they canceled my reservation and said they did not have any cars, and when I asked if they could give me any vehicle type, did not have to be the van I requested, they said I cannot be helped and to try another place.
