Other than my small room, the hotel was very lovely and beautiful place to stay. Would stay again but would definitely make sure I would book a bigger room.

I didn't like that I couldn't see the size of the room on the website before I booked it. The room was way to small, it was like a closet and my bathroom was a even smaller one.

    Location was great.

When we walked into room it was freezing due to base of window not in frame.Requested another room and was put on 22nd floor.Overall rooms needed to be given a coat of paint.

The location was great- close to Times Square. The staff was Great! They were extremely nice! The welcoming staff was great- Do you need water? If your hungry, we serve food this evening? ❤️ much needed after a long day of travel!

The bath tub drain was slow.

About

Overview

Hotel Edison is a beautiful, modern hotel situated right in the heart of downtown New York City. Visitors to the Big Apple will relish this top-end art deco hotel as it is within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. Of course, there is a lot more to see near the hotel then just Times Square. Visitors can go and explore the International Center of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, Morgan Library and Museum, American Folk Art Museum, and much more.

Within the hotel, guests have a few different dining options to explore. The Rum House is an upscale urban cocktail lounge with the menu of a casual tiki bar. While thirsty guests can try just about any drink, the specialty here is decidedly on rum cocktails and rare rums for sampling. Bond 45 is an upscale Italian restaurant that spans two different floors. Finally, there is Friedman's a health-forward eatery that specializes in incredible gluten-free dishes.

The Edison has three different room types: Classic, Signature, and Suite. The Suites are the largest of the rooms with the most amenities as well. These amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers, Keurig coffee makers, Frette linens, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, mini fridge, and a crisp 42" LCD flat screen HDTV. All of the rooms can be reserved in either one or two-bed configurations depending on how many guests will be there for the duration of the stay.
