Excellent location. One block from subway; five from Grand Central. Room was fine. Large bed. Has a slightly dated feel and somewhat odd layout. Appreciated the mini-fridge. Would definitely stay here again if I received a similar good rate.

This place is exactly what I've been looking for to be my homebase when I travel back to the city for work. It's centrally located and convenient, but not in the middle Times Square or Grand Central madness. I'm able to walk to my office and get home quickly at night. The staff are all wonderful and I found the room clean and super comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

Pros (+) Hotel is very clean, safe, and comfortable. Outstanding and accommodating staff, esp. the day concierge who did magic stricken for my son and declared him a real New Yorker. The hotel is gently aged, but beautifully maintained.
Cons (-) Electric receptacles were aged and loose- did not make good connection with phone chargers.
