Breakfast was amazing, especially the eggs benedict, the hash browns and the coffee. Loved the “period decor” everywhere - in our room, the halls and dining area.
The electronics in the room were challenging to operate: the TV wasn’t plugged initially, then the volume control wouldn’t work, then we couldn’t get the TV to turn off (which is probably why a prior guest pulled the plug from the wall).
For the price of the rooms, there should have been more amenities, such as free coffee and tea and snacks available 24/7. Though not the fault of the servers employed, service was slow. Property appeared to be under-staffed.
I loved that the Inn, it was romantic, the bed was so good for sleeping. The staff was friendly, the view and breakfast were even better! I will be making this Inn an anual trip. Awesome experience all around. Oh and the fireplace in the superior rooms were so grand!
Everything was top notch!
Beautiful property - service did not meet expactat
The rooms and property were beautiful, room was comfortable and nicely appointed.
We arrived between lunch and dinner. As we looked out across the vineyard on a sunny day enjoying the scenery, the restaurant staff informed us that having some cheese and crackers and wine to enjoy the view with was not possible because the cheese board was on the lunch menu and not the dinner menu. After a confused 25 minute wait to see if we wanted to order anything off the menus sitting in front of us. At a so called 4 diamond rated establishment. Not what I would have expected at a full service hotel. We were offered no explanation and no one even offered to help us or ask why when we decided to leave. We must have too high standards for a 4 diamond rating (though I don't think so).
