Staff very friendly, location and price
Pros:Free breakfast at the Santa Rita Restaurant next door was great. We got a room for $80 on sale, GREAT value. Be ready for a very industrial style; exposed concrete, exposed walls, iron beams, etc. Very clean but very modern/rustic.lol
Cons:Traffic was terrible and parking was even worse BUT they do have a valet right outside the front door (still very hard to get service because the hotel is ON the main street and during traffic hours, extremely stressful.
Pros:Welcoming staff, great rooftop restaurant/bar , clean and well-decorated room, and great breakfast. Will stay here again when I return to Panama City!
Pros:CASCO viejo is the place to be. The balcony was our fav :)
Pros:Steel, repurposed wood and concrete interior. Great beauty products. Wifi. Luxurious bedding. Healthy delicious breakfast included. Great terraces with waterfront and city views. Optimal location in the Casco Viejo old quarter of Panama City. Amazing rooftop bar, club, music and restaurant (Lazotea). Friendly and professional staff. Miguel the bartender especially great! I would definitely stay there again.

Pros:The location was great-right in the middle of the city's night life. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, and general stores. Rooftop bar had great cocktails and good food. The room we stayed in our second night was beautiful and had a balcony facing the brewpub next door. It was noisy, but this didn't bother us.
Cons:We paid a little extra and booked a room with a balcony and "garden view" as my boyfriend is a smoker. This "balcony" was indoor and overlooked a main floor "garden" IN the lobby. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, who were helpful, we were offered an upgraded room for the next night after some persistence on our part. However, friends of ours who had made the same booking and only stayed one night were only offered a bottle of wine and no discount on their stay. The first room we stayed in was very small, and had clearly just finished renovation. Most of the outlets in the room did not work. There were no windows (other than one in the shower that faced the hallway of the hotel). There was an unfinished rock wall that shed orange dust all over the room. And the bathroom "door" was a sheer curtain. The upside of this room - it was quiet. The upgraded room was nice - but only had 1 full towel. We requested more early in the afternoon, and had to make 3 trips to reception until one was sent up that evening (I guess their order was late?) The pool was "closed for renovation" both nights we stayed. But this pool wasn't really desirable anyway, right in the middle of the rooftop bar.
Pros:Very comfortable and clean, nice staff, great location, also pretty cool.
Cons:If you're tired and want to sleep early at night bring ear plugs. The bass from the bar/rooftop club upstairs definitely goes until 3am.
Pros:Great location and they try to be hip and modern but it comes off as stark. Nice bed. Front desk girl was nice but she could only do so much. Good tv and cable. Did offer some wine for being placed in wrong room but no financial compensation for paying extra for unavailable room.
Cons:Pool was unavailable and looked small. No light in concrete block shower, unclean shower curtain, concrete and concrete dust everywhere, improper curtain coverage on glass wall that sits beside the entrance to the bar (noisy!!). Confused staff (are we hotel guests or bar guests?) led to basically everyone walking around unsure of what to do. Breakfast was unclear. Didn't have proper entrance (like....a door) so anyone can walk in off the street and enter the hotel floors. Was worried about security.
