Cons: Not much really not to like ....leaving was pretty rubbish though!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy
Cons: Can’t get an Uber
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Historic and landscape setting.
Cons: The way the property was marketed - we booked a room in the Lodge, not realising it is a LONG way away from the main house, and had to up-grade on arrival.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: Easy to find. Easy to park. Quiet room but then there was hardly anyone else in the hotel as it was New Year!
Cons: As it was 31st Dec and 1st Jan the hotel decided to shut their kitchen in the evening so there was no where to eat with no prior notice given.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and comfort of stay were first class.
Cons: We asked for a quite room which we were given as far away from road as possible only to have a generator outside our room which was to go on all night we asked for another room which was even better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room good towels nice beds.
Cons: Needs a wate bin in the bathroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, just under 2 miles from where my friend lived but due to parking restrictions I couldn't park outside or near his house and did not want to use on street parking. Used a very good taxi company to ferry back and forth. Ample parking at hotel, the only problem was I did drive past as didn't see the sign because of the open white gates. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from and set me up for the day
Cons: The only problem was accessing my room 307 as it took 3 attempts on check in and finally the receptionist had to reset the whole system but that was a minor issue and would not put me off staying there again. Reception staff were very helpful.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The cleanliness and facilities.
Cons: Bad signage at rear of building where car entrance is. Despite pre paying in full for a two night stay, a further £25 is requested on arrival, and not refunded on departure, when it has been ascertained that no extras have been incurred. Appalled that a tray of sweet food stuffs and bottles of alchohol are put in the hotel rooms. Despite room radiators not being turned on , the room was far too hot and uncomfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, and the Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The Restaurant lacks a little charm, whilst being functional it is a little soulless
6.0 Good
Pros: Price was good
Cons: Food was okay... my room had the window open so arriving to was super cold i froze all night because it took a day to get it warm

Tuddenham Mill is somewhere to while away a lazy sunny afternoon playing boules by a swan-studded pond, or cosied up on hand-picked statement furniture in a spacious lounge bar under original exposed beams.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, modern but in a lovely Suffolk setting. Nice touches like fresh juice. Comfortable large bed. Finally, tv that works like a home package, Netflix, amazon etc.
Cons: Pillows could be a little firmer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were wonderful, location was beautiful and the room I had was lovely.
Cons: It was a tad hot in the room! But really I couldn’t fault it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Quaint village, beautiful hotel. Food is incredible.
Cons: Wished your venue was bigger for a wedding as we’d love to return just for that!
7.0 Good
Pros: We stayed in the water meadows which had a lovely view over the fields. The accomodation was very welcoming and we stayed with our dog. Dogs are accomodated in the bar where you can choose to dine or have drinks for evening meals or breakfast. We visited the restaurant without our dog which was very nice.
Cons: The only thing I need to say is THE PILLOWS! Im not fussy but these led to a very sleepless night. They are so soft you may as well have had no pillow at all. If they change their pillows then im sure you would sleep like a baby. I came home more tired than when I left, which is a shame.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was great
Cons: It was all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and Privacy

7.7 Good
Pros: Overall was good. Room clean, quiet place. Might be the middle of town but there is not much traffic. Owner/manager friendly, works way to hard.
Cons: The second morning, the owner was not there, we did not get the breakfast. The staff knew we were there, we talked to them yet we were ignored and finally left. Really disappointed since the first morning the full English was very good.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Well situated easy to find. Private parking off street also good. Appreciated effort by man from reception to improve things within his power.
Cons: The plumbed in radiator wasn't working and pipes also cold which suggested a fault. An electric heater was provided which eventually warmed the room after a few hours. No hot water in bathroom for shower which was disappointing. Other friends stayed in hotel with none of these problems which suggests a plumbing problem in one wing of the hotel.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely. Log cabin was very nice!. Nice warm bathroom with underfloor heating.
Cons: The towels were very worn!. Only one set of towels when I arrived but once I called reception they brought me another set no problem. Also on arrival I was told I could pay cash!. Which I did as I prefer to pay cash. But was told that they want my card details too to which I was rather concerned. I handed my card over but couldn't see why this would be as I paid up front for the room. Also having no wifi in the log cabin was a major disappointment.

Cons: We were visiting friends in the area, we all came back to the Hotel after 9.00pm to find everything totally locked up, no one around and nothing at all open, couldn't even have a refreshment as no staff on duty, felt as if we had the whole building to ourselves as no one around, nothing open, everything locked other than the doors to our room, we have stayed here several times in the past but what a change, disappointment!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Old Cannon is a brewpub in the heart of Bury St Edmunds a short walk from the market square so the location is very good indeed and they have parking. Had the best checking in experience, the young man was friendly, cheerful and actually carried my large bag for me, so a gold star for that as it just never seems to happen anywhere these days. Good size room, well-appointed and a great shower, and a great breakfast.
Cons: Food on offer in the pub seemed a bit on the pricey side, if it was more reasonably priced I'm sure they would sell a lot more food as it's such a nice pub to be in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfy, decor was spot on and the shower was brilliant, warm and high flow rate. Breakfast was top notch.
Cons: Room was a little cold when I got there. I fumbled about and after a while realised I had to change the thermostat on the heater. I realise I could have called down but it would be nice to have some instructions in the room leaflet.

Cons: We didn't get the room that had been confirmed to us, which is the only first-floor room, BUT the one we had was spacious, clean and with a great bathroom, and the manager was very apologetic. The food (other than breakfast) is rather limited for those who don't eat meat.
