Pros: I loved everything about this place. The room, the restaurant, the location, the staff...it’s a gem of a place and the attention to detail was second to none. The room was gorgeous, the interior was just to my liking, very shabby chic. The restaurant was busy and worked so well. Dinner was the best I’ve had in years. I highly recommend staying eating and sleeping here. On top of that, breakfast was perfect. My stay couldn’t have been better. Thank you x

Pros: There are not words to describe the excellent experience we had at Locanda Stella. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was superb and we had the chance to have dinner at the restaurant which was sooo good. We highly recommend this place. Stella is an amazing host and her food is amazing!!!

Pros: Well, the owners made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed-even though we arrived early. The room decor is creative and fun and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the valley looking toward the old city of Perugia from our room (Room 5) was outstanding! We had a wonderful crazy lightening storm on our first day that was awesome to watch from our windows. In addition there is a lovely small communal room to sit and read, play cards or make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. They really have thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable one. The real standout was the breakfast! It was beautiful and abundant with a variety of special treats and baked goods offered. We looked forward to it each morning. Do not miss booking in for dinner as the food and wine menu is very nice and our meal both nights were delicious! We loved Laconda Stella and getting to explore Umbria and will definitely return.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Close to Perugia.
Cons: If you would like to sleep before 1am, I would not recommend this Locanda which is located directly above a noisy restaurant with windows overlooking the patio and parking lot and a busy road. No air conditioning, so windows need to be open for air circulation. To make matters worse during our stay work started on the roof with hammering at 9am. We were rushed to checkout before 11am so that they could clean the rooms. Owner insincere and not genuinely concerned about guests or experience.

Cons: 1. Location was hard to find in the dark. 2. Too far out of town 3. No TV or safe in the room 4. My bed was on an angle (always felt that I am slipping of it)

Cons: Noise from restaurant guests’ children on playing terrace beneath our room kept us awake to midnight. Restaurant guests should be reminded there are residents who should not be disturbed and children should be kept under control.
