I did not get the car they did not have an automatic and I tried to cancel additional insurance coverage but never could do this on my phone so I wasted $90 plus car rental fee.

long wait times on both ends-- took over an hour to wait in line and sign the paperwork. the car itself was great and had no problems! however also had difficulty returning the keys-- no one was at the desk and eventually just had to leave it with someone

The word experience in my life, I will notify all my subscribers about them that is a ripoff. Wasn’t able to pick up my car , wasn’t able to cancel the service ,feel completely unprotected as a customer , never ordering again

Great car in a good condition at a great price. The “office” is quite hard to find, at the back of a car park without signage directing you to it, not accurately located on Google maps and there’s no desk in the rental terminal with the other companies. The drop-off took almost an hour because they were very short staffed (one person) and their systems do not seem exactly fluent.

Nice car and staff

Cons:

It was hard to find "Dollar" at the Pisa because Dollar wasn't listed as well on the signs to follow to the rental agency like the other companies were. It actually shared the booth with several other companies.

Nobody around the parking lot to walk around car to check for damage. Of course on dropoff they mention "not reported" damage that was already there when I picked up the car.

The performance at collection at Edinburgh was poor. "my system is down" "you've arrived 30 minutes too early" "stay in the queue if you're not a priority customer" The whole process took far too long and felt inefficient

At first I was shocked that I have to give 1400 euros in deposit if I used my credit card insurance. It’s something I’m not used to. Their insurance at 29euros/day looks a little bit steep, but it really is a question-free insurance. Despite that, the price was so low on the rental itself that it did put it to same level to other agencies without any insurance. The car was top notch and the service was perfect.

Terrible experience. When we arrived to pick up the car they wanted 200 euros more for a one way drop off fee. I had read the contract carefully and nowhere did it say we would be charged for this. The rental company was unable to show it to us; they just insisted it was their policy. We left and rented from enterprise and they were wonderful. No hidden fees. Will never book with Centauro again.
