It’s a beautiful hotel right in downtown Portsmouth, so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The valet parking is $45/night! But had I known idve parked just across the street in the parking garage where they parked the car! I can see $20 but $45? The hotel is very nice with a great location, comfy beds, very nice staff but the tv is nearly impossible to figure out. There’s nothing on th...

Lack of service staff impacted quality of the stay. No cleaning of the room, requested towels which never came, for multiple day stay.

Pros (+) I loved how clean everything was. I enjoyed their hot tub. The location was absolutely perfect -- right downtown, with access to practically everything Portsmouth has to offer within walking distance.
Cons (-) The price to store our vehicle (valet price) was outrageously high. We did use the service, I just didn't realize (or wasn't informed) the price was going to be $28 for a 24 hour period! We drank two bottled waters stored in the room was $6 total for the two.

Pros (+) Convenient location
Cons (-) Valet could have locked my car to secure my belongings. I was handed my keys and pointed in the direction of my car when I had to retrieve an item. This was when I found it unlocked. Staff was courteous and apologetic. Additionally, we were locked out of our hotel room when returning from breakfast. Had to go back to lobby to have them recode the room key. This was a minor annoyance that went with...

Pros (+) The location was fantastic. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Cons (-) Breakfast was not bad but definitely not worth the money. Our room was not clean in several ways, some the staff tried to help with. The room was simply way overpriced which was much worse due to hugh season.
