It was very reassuring to be collected at the airport arrival gate by the hotel driver at 3am. We were made to feel VIP. This was the perfect start to our stay and the standard of service and accommodation lived up to its 5 star rating in every respect. Nothing! Can not wait to go back to this wonderful hotel.
friendliness of staff
The location, facilities and comfort are perfect for a family holiday. It is a quiet place, away from traffic and other noise sources, but close (3 km) to Nessebar, the main resort in the area. The two-rooms apartments are perfect for large families (up to 6 members) and all home appliances were in perfect condition. The staff is discreet and helpfull. The rooms are like in pictures, no differences. Don't expect for luxury, but to a decent place to spend the holiday on the Black Sea shore. I couldn't find something better for this money in Nessebar... The road is in bad condition (last 500 m) and because of the Emerald Complex who blocked the main road you have to make a large detour (~700 m) or to pay 1 Leva/day/person to cross through their courtyard.
the pool No, Only the way to the hotel is in very poor condition.
Perfect luxury hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent with combination of friendly and good English speaking waiters. The location is perfectly quit and in walking distance (5mins) to the city center. Parking is not a problem here!
Quite simply the best hotel we have stayed in. The spa area is quite simply magnificent. Not in the liveliest of area's however.
Excelent hotel comparing to a good price! The food in the restaurant ala carte is superb! I've seen a lot of hotels in Bulgaria but this is definatly one of the best. They charge normal prices on the minibar which is also really ok!
With one word; magnificent! It is as in its name "grand primoretz" I wish all the rooms would have the sea view. The rest perfect.....
The hotel is new, well furnished and located in the park area very close the the city center. SPA is very good and not expensive. There is very nice swimming pool area with a sea view. The food in the restaurants and its variety is poor.
Beautiful building full of character, friendly staff, and a good location. Also a nice and good restaurant
The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They tried very hard to make us feel welcome. No, I would go back there again. However a facility to make tea/coffee in the rooms would be nice.
Everything!I do suggest this place to everyone, absolutely perfect!
The hotel is nice, but choose an other restaurant.
Quiet location in particular; pleasant, helpful staff; tidy, neat appearance of hotel. I actually like the shower arrangement and have come across it in my travels in other countries but some people might find it strange not to have a separate shower recess.
The staff and cleanliness
Restaurant and general atmosphere of the hotel was very good. Room was clean and I often found complimentary refreshing surprises you never encounter in other hotels. Staff was very helpful, but with limited english skills (was not really problem). Shower and toilet arrangement was a bit uncomfortable (with limited room), but still, I would not complain considering good price.
Very efficient at check in and check out, and friendly attentive staff. Room was very spacious, and air conditioned [essental at time of year]. And convenient for town centre facilities.
the room is very nice - big
The hotel was in a quiet area of the city not far from the walking street, which leads to the beach. Staff were friendly and available 24 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, spacious room nicely furnished and a nicely tiled bathroom. I believe this was, perhaps, the nicest hotel I have experienced on this trip of 6 weeks in 6 Balkan countries. Breakfast was generous and nicely prepared. The hotel has a very nice dining room with a Garden restaurant in addition. I would class this hotel as a boutique hotel. It was charming. The only disadvantage of the hotel is there is no lift, but I did not find it detrimental. I did not eat in the dining room because there was no English menu. Everything looked good and it was always busy. The area near the hotel had some neat pubs and great clothing shops.
It was clean and tidy, except old and dirty carpet in the room Some of the hotel staff was very rude. The girl who was on reception during the evening/night on 16th of August was very rude. She took our passports on the first day and told us she'll not return untill we'll pay. It's ridiculous and against the law. Also the internet service was included in the price but she try to charge us.It was another staff on reception on 17th of August and it was no problem
The gym was good locatıon and servıce
You have a portier,Svetlio or something like thet. If yuo have more like him... Gratulations, your hotell would be perfect The stab who ignorde us even that we tryd to explaion our problem in "bodylaundwich)
location unfriendly staff
Close vicinity to the centre of Burgas 1St . I paid more for the hotel than stated by Booking.com. Hotel said this was due to exchange rate change. Even though I paid in euros! This was a con. I was told to pay for 2 towels I used they would not clean. I refused to pay for these. Gym equipment in very poor condition.
Room was very clean, air-conditioning in room worked well, had a great view. Hotel itself is conveniently located, right near main pedestrianised streets with lots of cafes and shops. Train station is within walking distance. Staff were friendly enough, it helps if you use a few simple Bulgarian words like "please" and "thank you" to break the ice. Pool was not open , nor did they have any estimate when it would be open, which was very annoying as pool availability was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Air-conditioning in hotel lobby and bar was not good, but this seemed to be the norm in Burgas.
a communist-style built hotel but recently re-arranged, nice rooms, a pleasant place to stay, right in the center of the town and close to the beach
location , clean room, one lady on reception very pleasant and helpful, on site shop very useful and girl in shop very pleasant and helpful all male staff very surly, looked bored and quite rude and unpleasant to guests they should earn from the ladies
Ideal central location close to railway station, spacious rooms couteous staff , easy to find with excellent views over the city from the top floors. the breakfast was poor with little choice , the hotel facilities are slightly dated but is made up by the warmness of the staff
The central location with good facilities. The office on site for onward travel was most useful. Although the hotel was not busy the staff seemed to know guests very quickly a real bonus.
We double booked by mistake but the hotel rectified the problem very quickly and at no extra charge. The location is great, next to bus station. Facilities were comfortable and relaxing. Rooms were of decent size and lovely and warm. Not much choice for breakfast and it was a bit cold
Located in the middle of town center; 5 minute walking distance to anywhere; good food and shopping. Friendly staff, clean room
The rooms were very clean, the lobby area was very spacious and the hotel had lots of extra facilities. I found the staff on the reception desk to be quite rude, they wouldn't answer my questions and also gave me wrong directions causing me to get lost in the city. For this reason only I wouldn't stay there again.
nothing /nic breakfest very very poor, service too // bardzo zle sniadanie i serwis jak z lat 80-tych w sieci Orbis
Hotel Burgas is situated comfortably near the centre and could be ideal as a business hotel if it was not overpriced for Bulgarian standards. Breakfast Buffet was poor and lobby was extremely small. An mediocre overall choice
no swiming pool and gym in 4 star rated hotel
Air condition system. Should be improved
Nice stay and friendly, expensive restaurant no spa
There was a parking place.
Very nice, clean and new hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They rang our hotel in sofia for us to see if we could check in straight away as we had an early flight the next morning. Rooms were modern and clean, and hotel is in a great location opposite station and bus station. Room was very small compared to other hotels we stayed in and paid less for. When leaving we were also charged for a coke from the mini bar, which we had not taken but they claimed we had!
Nice and not a problem apart of a couple of electricity power cuts, not long power cuts. Friendly stuff and good services. I did not like that the on-line reservation system did not worked, and the hotel did not expected us, when they should. They sorted it out quicky and nicely on the other hand.
The staff probably need a few more English but are friendly and helpful. The Restaurant food is very good and well priced . Location is close to the airport and Bourgas City by taxi is ten minutes . Close to beach and other amenities in the Village . Would certainly come back again ....
Appearance of the hotel is modern and the room is very confortable with LCD TV and bath tub etc. Location is also very good (very near to the station and town centre)
Modern, central, clean, efficient. Everything that a business visitor needs.
extremely bad breakfast, one of the worst hotel breakfasts I ever had.
Well situated for town and beach. Near booking office and stop for coaches. Smart, comfortable and clean. Very good restaurant. Breakfast choices could be better and a larger concessionary amount given for breakfast.
Excellent hotel, easy to find and staff very helpful. Ate in restaurant in the evening which was lovely. A short stroll to town and also to the beach. We enjoyed Burgas from all aspects and this hotel asssisted this. Car parking - no specific area so had to find road side. This was not a major issue.
It is a clean new hotel in the central part of the city and very close to the beach.very polite and healpful staff. Everything was ok
Clean, comfortable apartment and a lovely beach. Close to the airport but no noise. Even for a hard bargainer like me the taxi drivers charged a fortune to get here from airport late at night even though it's very close. Better to go to a further away hotel with airport pick up. The other reason for staying here was to self cater and I would not describe a microwave and coffee machine as a kitchenette. The microwave didn't work and they never fixed it (though we only stayed 2 nights) so we couldn't even make a cup of tea! Additionally they refused to give a 2nd key to the room so I was effectively locked in half the day while my partner slept off his night shift lag!
On the bar and restaurant foods, drinks were amazing declicious and cheap. The pool and rooms were cleand every day. Our room was nice and comfortable. I recommanded this fantastyc place to everybody. Unfortunatelly the staff can't speak english or another languages, just only bulgarian. Except the reception staff and the mixer on the Atlantis beach bar.
Good location food clean helpfull friendly relaxing
Completely new hotel complex in simple, elegant style, spacious room/studio with microwave and fridge Breakfast a bit too basic for a hotel in this class - no brewed coffee, just instant coffee and warm water in a jug (replenished from the hot water tap in the bar!), slow replenishing of bread etc., plates washed/rinsed but not dried, still dripping with water. Needs competent management in this section.
Clean and convenient for airport Breakfast staff indifferent
breakfast included, stopped using another hotel because they began to charge for breakfast, Not clearly sign posted where breakfast is and coffee needs to be avaialble and no need to ask for it
Nice hotel and would use it again close to airport, we picked up family members from there so easy. Not very good if you wanted to cater for yourself as there were only small coffee maker and no pans, tea towels, dishcloths.
The hotel was spotless and staff were very pleasant and also made you feel very welcome. We had lunch at the hotel which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very disappointing, There was very poor choice of things I feel it would have been better not to have cooked things only continental breakfast. For such a beautiful Hotel this side of things badly let it down.
Bowling Everything was great. We were glad to rest in the hotel.
We liked the rooms as they were a good size. Nicely laid out. The staff didn't seem to be interested in helping, Also very difficult to communicate with them. Our room had not been cleaned for 2 days and had to find the cleaners after getting nowhere at the reception. Maybe once the hotel is fully finished this will improve.
