Receptionist staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.
An inattentive waiter in upstairs restaurant failed to note we paid cash for drinks and charged it to our account. Thankfully, the reception staff accepted my explanation.
Hotel is in a great location, staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms are clean
EVERYTHING! There was a lot to choose from.
Andrea at the front desk was a gem; super helpful and friendly. He upgraded our room and gave us lots of helpful advice and directions. Breakfast was good and the hotel has a great location very close to Rome’s historic centre and the bus stand for hop-on hop-off tour buses.
Overall the staff was most professional, courteous, and willing to listen. However, the night person was anything but personable when we checked out early. Rude would be the better adjective. Why? Because the concierge had generously offered to have a breakfast ready for us to take with us. When on fo the group asked about them to the "rude" night person, his response was that we "had to pay the day tax first," and he was serious.
I had reserved three rooms, each a "matrimoniale". When I got to my room there were two twin beds. When I went back to the desk the response was "mi dispiace." Well, not really. Eventually, after offering a significantly smaller room, thy changed the bed. What I find distasteful here is that while they were obviously willing to change the bed, which took them 20 minutes, they could have simply done so before we got there. But, no, they had obviously wished for us to accept what we did not request.
