I had a nightmare with this booking. The airline had to change the flight and this messed everything else up. It was a huge pain because I called chatdeal, which is part of Kayak, and they kept asking me to give them more time to figure out my flights. I had to keep calling because I never got any of the callbacks that I was promised and I didn't have my flights figured out until the day before I was to fly out. Then!, I got to the airport to fly to NYC and found out that the flights were still not figured out and I was lucky enough to only get it figured out when someone from Jetblue figured it out for me. I'm happy that I was able to get it figured out, but I did have to pay for my own stay on the first night because my layover because 29 hours and was not offered a way to get a hotel voucher, which I should have since it was not my fault that the flight was changed.
Cons: First time I flew with this airline. I loved it. Blankets, pillows, decent food, and nice people

Two Hours Late and No Information

Cons: The flight was two hours late. There were no announcements. The only indication of this was when the pilot spoke to us and told us he was sorry the flight was delayed.
Pros: Clean airplane
Cons: No additional care was given for traveling with children . Specifically had my car seat for my child for the connecting flight checked ar the airplane entrance and was told once I got off it would be inside. Then got a run around nobody knew where it would be . It ended up not being available for our use till our checked luggage in Boston ! Very disappointed

SATA-Azores Airline--Is not Dependable
Cons: We spent 65 hours in airports in the Azores trying to get back to the U.S. Flights were cancelled for no reason and others were delayed so long, connections were missed. Airline reps said a bus would take us to lodging for one of the nights, but a bus never showed up (in fact we found out later a bus never existed for this hotel) -- 4 a.m. and waiting in the rain in Boston. We ended up paying for a taxi to this distant hotel ourselves. We learned we could not trust anything the airline reps told us, even though they thought they were saying the truth. If you go to the Azores, leave an extra 4-5 days to get home, particularly if you are not on Sao Miguel. Almost lost my job over this trip because of this airlines. No apology or explanation for flight delays, etc., was ever offered.

Cons: Our bag ( and others) were left behind as a company policy appatently. We waited for it and had to file a complaint and then it arrived with the next flight 6 h later. So we waisted time, energy and frustration. Could just book less people on the flight??
Decent way to get to a great place.
Pros: Flight from Boston to Ponta Delgada featured remarkable service and surprisingly tolerable food.
Cons: The plane was old and in a state of some disrepair. We were in the exit row and immediately noticed plastic chipped off of the exit door and broken case covering the emergency release handle. Not reassuring, but we got there in one piece.
Pros: Cheap ticket between Toronto and PDL, didn't encounter any problems with crew
