Pros: David and Dau were great, really friendly and helpful. The view was fantastic of Fanzipan. The room was clean and really well equipped. Just outside the door was the evening street food market.
Cons: Nothing
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel. The staff was amazing.
Cons: The spa and hotel staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything in this hotel, it was perfect. We had a room with great view on the valley and Fansipan and a balcony on the 6th floor (you should therefore now that it is not directly in the valley so you see part of the city when you are on the balcony but we think this is not a problem). The room was very comfortable and breakfast excellent. Most importantly, the staff was very nice. Especially at the reception (with one of them speaking very good French). We decided to change our departure time from 22:00 to 16:00 at 15:30 because of the weather. He made many calls and got us 2 bus tickets 10 minutes before departure. We were worried not to catch the bus and he came with us on taxi to make sure we got it. And we got it! He even found time to get us two sandwiches before leaving the hotel! In short, we definitely recommend their Moutain view room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing. They have provided whatever you need from the wine as welcoming drinks for free, fruits, coffee machine and so on. They are good in providing extra service. The staff were amazing too especially David, who is the one who takes good care of us for the entire trip. It was so easy to communicate with him from all my request, he even gave us sandwich before our trip, that was the sweetest! Thank you so much, David!
Cons: The room was quite small although it was really fab! But manageable :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, polite and helpfull. Very clean and comfortable rooms with agreat view of balcony. The breakfast has variety of food and delicious. I had a very nice stay in this hotel
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the minute we got there we were welcomed perfectly. The guys behind the counter (especially David ) were faultless. The thing that we have struggled with throughout this trip was the communication barrier but front of house at this hotel were excellent. The rooms and the views were great and the breakfast was satisfying. The complimentary bottle of wine was greatly appreciated and the the lunch that was packed for us for the long coach trip home was a touching gesture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and service were very professional and went out of their way to accommodate us. Super service!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel with everything you could possibly expect, especially after a day of trekking. Every detail is thought of and catered for within the rooms and the staff are really helpful and welcoming. They arranged a spectacular tour with a local lady, our transport to the station and cooked food for us before our journey home. The breakfast is amazing and they do all they can to make you as comfortable as possible. It’s worth paying a bit extra for an upgraded room and waking up to a mountain view, the higher floors are best. Highly recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful, the staff is very very helpful they help us arrange some excursions and the train tickets back to Hanoi. The hotel is in the center of Sapa close to bars and restaurants. The breakfast has Vietnamise and occidental food and everything was so tasty! I couldn't recommend more this hotel!!! *****

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have chosen the hotel because of the amazing comments on booking.com and we can agree with all of them. Miss Ha, our host, made our stay in Sapa unforgettable. As we arrived super early with the night bus, she did her best that we can check in already at 8 am for a nap and shower. Afterwards she organized everything for us: cable car tickets, amazing private tour to non touristic areas and laundry. The breakfast is great as you can order a la carte and how much you want. She also prepared us a great vegetarian Picknick for trekking. She gave us great recommendations for very good and cheap restaurants around the hotel and also tips what we shouldn't do and should avoid. Also her kids and staff where super friendly and helped all the time. For leaving she prepared us also sandwiches - so kind of her. When you go to Sapa - you have to go to Miss Ha. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for everything Miss Ha :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything Beakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central, but off main road so quite.
Cons: Stairs but that’s me.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and staff! The owner was so nice and helpful. It has unlimited breakfest, clean and comfortable rooms. When we checked out the owner made for us lunch to take to the bus! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breafat was great the owner of the hotel dud everything she could to make things easy for us
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, all of them were very nice, welcoming and spoke english well (even the young ones). The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are nice and clean. Bed is big enough and not hard at all, like in the other hotels. Even rented us a motorbike.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and welcoming and genuine. They helped book us on two walking tours which I’d highly recommend. We had a lovely local lady called Pang take us on the tours, who was so sweet and funny and made the trip for us.
Cons: There is construction work going on for the next 14 months right outside the room, starting in the morning officially from 8:00, but we heard them from 6:30am. Very loud and right outside unfortunately. So wouldn’t spend anytime in the hotel during the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mrs. Ha (owner of hotel) made our stay perfect. She helped with booking tours to fair conditions, recommended good restaurants, provided us with showers before check in and after check out (so we didn’t had to take the train after trekking trip in sweaty clothes) and took our luggage. She also cared about our transportations after the stay. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite new and there were some hygiene products for free. For breakfast you could order as much as you want (mainly pho, egg-meals, pancakes and fruits). Mrs. Ha organised 2 tours for us: One day trip to 2 waterfalls with a driver (8$p plus entrance fees, group of 4) nice, not exhausting One day trekking trip through rice fields and minority villages: this trip was so beautiful and so funny, we walked with Mrs Pang who is a really lovely lady, so maybe ask for her as your tour guide! (26$Pp, Group of 4)
Cons: There is a building site next to the hotel which was quite loud, but only during the day (when you are probably not in the room)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room didn’t look like the one in the pictures. The drain in the shower was clogged. There was water all over the place
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff and good location .
Cons: Bed sheets were dirty, and toilet seat was broken. A bit noisy from the outside.

With a stay at Eco Palms House - Sapa Retreat in Sa Pa, you'll be in a national park, within a 10-minute drive of Sapa Lake and Quang Truong Square. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was nicely secluded which made it a great getaway. The view from the huts were amazing, overlooking the rice terraces. If you want a big bathtub with a great view of the mountain and field, get the suite with Mountain View. If you want to be directly over the terraces, get the bungalow. Food was tasty and nicely presented. The owners and staffs working there were extremely friendly. I’ll definitely stay here if I visit Sa Pa again.
Cons: The moment it gets dark, you’ll be greeted with some bugs in the hut. The staff will set up a bed netting in advance to keep them away, but this is something you need to be prepared for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s such a warm welcome from Iyan, her husband and team. The view of the mountains is sublime. The lodge we stayed in (Lu House) was big, the bathroom, bath and view are truly amazing. We were treated to a welcome cocktail and mocktail. The food in the restaurant was great and there were lots of touches and attentive service that made our stay relaxing (we requested late check out it was so relaxing)
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The fabulous view of the H’Mong Valley and the hospitality at this hotel are its main selling points. It is a bit outside of Sapa town, but that is part of its charm. The family that runs the hotel is lovely and so accommodating. They make their hotel feel like a home!
Cons: The rooms did not have closets or pegs for hanging clothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the themed rooms ! Went very nicely with the minority villages. Plus the view was amazing!
Cons: They up-charge for everything. It’s pretty ridiculous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly a unique experience in a private suite with a view on the rice valley, very welcoming hosts that arrange everything for you (from trekking, shuttles and motorbike rental) and great breakfast!
Cons: Nothing. You just need to be aware that you are experiencing the local life here, and not the typical 5-star hotel life. We absolutely loved it!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is beautiful and the owners really take care to create an ECO RETREAT. It is a fairly far trek out of Sapa town on an unfinished road, so I recommend using a local taxi and having patience. We came here after an attempt of a homestay that didn't go so smoothly, and it was a wonderful change. The food (much of which was from their own garden on the property) was some of the best that we enjoyed in Vietnam. The bungalow was just beautiful, and while there were many things to do, it was so peaceful just to sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze. I wish we had stayed for more than one night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My original hostel got cancelled and I had to re-book the hostel at the last minute, but this was the best thing that happened to me so that I had the chance to stay with Eco Palms House. Nam, staffs and the manager were so friendly and made me feel very welcomed while I was traveling solo. The hostel got so much to offer! everything is simply just perfect. The bed was comfy and clean, shower room was fully equipped, food was also amazing and tasty. It's also very relaxing sitting outside while having the rice field view just in front of you. This is definitely a dream-come-true place that I promised Nam I will bring my bf next time to stay in the cottage.
Cons: NOTHING
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, observant and on their toes and provided telly good service. The homemade mango jam was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was really good, served fresh and made to order with a choice of several courses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was stunning, super cozy and the view was amazing. The food was also very delicious, much better than expected with fresh herbs from their garden. They also made me an amazing cake for my birthday which was very lovely and such a nice surprise!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bungalow was really cosy and clean, with a stunning view. Food is really good too and the owners are very helpful. We had a great time!

Pros: The staff is friendly and they have a restaurant attached that serves awesome food (both Vietnamese and western, although I only tried the Vietnamese food).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central location across the Lao Cai-Sapa minibus stand, Church, Square and right up a short narrow alley and so was great for peaceful sleep - what more with clean room and comfortable bed. The in-house restaurant served excellent food!
Cons: Nothing in particular.
6.3 Good
Pros: The bed was big and comfortable.
Cons: One of the switch of the lights in the room was loose and the light stopped working from Day1 of our stay. We informed the staff to resolve this issue and they said they would but eventually did not do any thing about it. As a result our room was pretty dark during our stay. A lot of times there was no one at the reception and we had to wait for someone to turn up so that we could talk to the staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the staff is great. the service was excellent. they have lots of experience and know what guests need. they helped us booking and arrange private and group tours. breakfast was good. we also tried their restaurant and it was nice. we had massages in the room after long days walking and it was a good decision. the rooms are large and clean. location was good
Cons: only drawback is that there is no lift. but they help with luggage and honestly it wasnt a big problem for us
7.5 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We've had a fantastic stay at Anise. Off the main road, relatively quiet with a lovely mountain view. The room was very clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about!
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location in the centre of sapa with lots of restaurants around.
Cons: Bathroom dirty, floor in room was sticky, fridge had not been cleaned. Hotel demanded 6 dollars per night to use the air conditioning unit. The listing in booking.com does not say this. It was an unwelcome surprise and we would not have booked the room if we had known the price would be inflated in this way.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. They kindly organized our transportation to and from the bus station and to our next stop. Generally the staff was simply wonderful and helped us with everything. The view is amazing and the waterfall is in walking distance.
Cons: Sadly there were a lot of ants on the wall of our bedroom and the bathroom floor was oftentimes a bit dirty but both these things didn’t really bother us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really nice and helpful. Provided all the information about trekking paths, things worth visiting and even gave us all details about buses schedule for next destinations. Location is truly awesome, gives you real experience of Sapa region. Totaly worth going all the way from Sapa. Place is peaceful and quite with beautifull scenery.

Cons: There’s only one toilet but it’s always clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and helpfull People. Realy calm and beautiful area and the food was great. The price is cheap and the place is very clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really delicious breakfast included in the highly affordable room rate. Friendly staff who's very helpful in getting taxis for us to go back into Sapa Town. Absolutely breathtaking nature and very quiet environment away from the backpacker-ish areas in the Sapa village.
Cons: No food options nearby except to order slightly overpriced (but very delicious!) food with the hostel. The room rate is really low to offset the costs of food though.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were great and very help full, getting there is a bit tricky. Wouldn't recommend you drive there at night, but the views are incredible.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very cheap and the lady is very accommodating.
Cons: It was far and it took 250000 Dong to get there by taxi and the roads were very bad so it took 40 minutes to go 10 km.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was treated as part of the family. The nice of the owner, who was around all the time, spoke good English. She helped to arrange a lot of things for me. The room was clean, the bed met my expectations.
Cons: It is far from the city. A taxi driver asks me to pay 24$ to drive me to the place. I have rented a motorcycle to drive there myself for just 6$ a day. By the way, the roads are bad. The roads and the taxi driver have nothing to do with the place! Just mentioning it, to give a complete picture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place to stay, stunning location. So peaceful and quiet, plenty of hiking trails nearby. Food really good and reasonably priced. Joined with the family for dinner one night and was lovely. It is a 40 minutes 250k taxi ride to get there and a 75k tourist fee for the area. But well worth it all for such a wonderful and welcoming homestay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Literally everything else
Cons: Its quite remote in location Not many food choices

4.6 Okay
Pros: The garden very well take care by owner family. Their dogs very friendly, volunteer to be tour guide when walking around their garden.breakfast yummy.
Cons: Some offer not value for the money. Room not clean enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! A couple of km out of town or a few minutes in a taxi (we used Grab a lot). It’s nice and quiet a big contrast from Sapa town, which is very noisy and busy. The room was big with a comfortable bed and a great view over the beautiful garden. Mr Nam was very helpful and made our stay perfect. Breakfast was something to look forward to cooked by Mr Nam’s mum and dad. We also had a meal there on the first night which consisted of about four courses I will highly recommend this place! We will be back next year!!
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its location, staff and the food...all perfect! Recommend the place very much!
Cons: Nothing i can mention.
7.5 Good
Pros: We loved our stay at Sapa Garden Bed and Breakfast. It felt like a more upscale homestay than a hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the owner’s wife cooks amazing food for you upon request. It was very quiet there and I felt it was a retreat from being busy in Sapa town! The owner and his wife don’t speak any English, but their son Nam is there in the evening and can organize anything. He also responds to emails promptly. We hailed our own cabs using the grab app, which made getting on and off the property easy since we couldn’t communicate with the owners to get us a taxi. I recommend having your phone unlocked and getting a cheap cell service from viettel during your stay for purposes like this.
Cons: Although we enjoyed our stay, I would have appreciated standard toiletries in the room like shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We only found a small wrapped bar of soap. We typically stay in 4 star hotels, and although everything else was 4 star, I felt we should receive those same amenities since this is a nicer place to stay. Also, WiFi password being posted in the room would have been helpful. I just asked for it and then it was provided. Lastly, we chose this bed and breakfast because it was outside of the main part of Sapa town. It was my misunderstanding, but I thought it would be in the country rather than still feeling a little bit in town. Once you are on their property it is very secluded however. Those are minor details that didn’t hinder our experience. Other than that, our stay was perfect! I highly recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property set in extensive landscaped gardens,it was a great place to stay with children, just outside the main town of Sapa. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. There was also a very nice common seating area.Breakfasts and dinners were home cooked and delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic, people, location, food. Beautiful room and facilities. Loved the meals cooked by the owners mother.
Cons: We didn't like leaving
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was perfect , my boyfriend love it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We adored the setting 3 km outside Sa Pa town, with a big garden full of beautiful flowers and animals. It felt like a quiet, magic place you never wanted to leave. The older couple working there were lovely, the owner helped us booking tours and arranging transfer to train station. If you want to go to Sa Pa and stay at a pittoresk place outside tomn, book!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful, tranquil and serene place. Mr. Nam Hong is very helpful and kind, helped a lots with our trip in Sa Pa. He gave useful tips, suggestions and guidance about places to visit. During our stay, the family are very caring~ the breakfast is very generous and tasty :D
7.5 Good
Pros: nice house and kind family, where you can stay outside in beautiful garden, and feel like you are part of the family
Cons: quite far from town : need a taxi whatever you want to do (or quite a walk...) The owner is very nice, but not the best in town to organize your tours or transfers.

Pros: Good service staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well situated to the centre of town ... just a five minute walk. Equally close to the station that you use to get to the cablecar. Plenty of restaurants near it. The hotel gives a perfect view of the mountains. I chose a city facing room, but if a mountain facing one isn’t too much more, maybe book it. The breakfast room and the balcony off it also give breathtaking views. It’s a cool modern hotel.
Cons: Nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady on reception Orchid was so helpful, she arranged a private guide for a hike for us and also helped with the bus booking and a taxi to the bus station.
Cons: The location of this property is fantastic, beautiful view of the mountains, from the rooms and the rooftop pool. The staff are amazingly helpful and very organised. Breakfast has a good choice for any diet and they are quick to help if you want anything special.

Pros: The lobby view is breathtaking, really amazing. Breakfast is solid, very friendly staff. Great room (also amazing view). Located in an alley which I actually prefer because it's more quiet and less busy.
Cons: The only down thing I can think of is the roof of the swimming pool, water was leaking as it rains outside.

Pros: Second time staying at this place! As usual, view was nice, staff was really friendly and helpful!

Cons: Dark room and very small bathroom. Water is insufficient and bugs in the room

Pros: Location is amazing in the nature and rice fields Staff is very nice
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect (much better than in Sapa village), nice view, staff very kind and supportive. Highlight our Hmong guide Su, she rules!
Cons: Rooms should be cleaned and very important, better isolated. When arrived after dinner, some bugs in our room, even we claimed because we saw 3 crickets. We got a room change, which us ok, but the point is that with better facilities it shouldn’t happen.

Pros: I will be back next year for sure! Thank you for taking care of me :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice accommodation. I've been here for the second time and everything was fine again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in Ta Van village - nice clean rooms - I enjoyed the view over the rice fields from my room’s window - nice common facilities, large communal space. Restaurant was very good and well- priced. Buffet breakfast (on some days only) was amazing. Some little attentions like fresh towels on our third night or complimentary fruit plater on some evenings made the difference. Very enjoyable stay - suitable for families

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helped us book a bus back to Hanoi! The restaurant on site was good and affordable. Location was great, just a short walk to anywhere you’d want to be!
Cons: Breakfast was average, not many western options. Wifi was very inconsistent and there were noise issues with construction going on in the adjacent property
7.1 Good
Pros: The room with balcony at 7 floor is great! Great balcony, great view, very comfortable.
Cons: In order to reach the hotel you have to go upstairs in the street almost 3 floors. The staff help you with luggage but it is a mess as you arrive at the same time as a lot of people in a transfer provided by the hotel from Lao Cai. Besides on arrival, you must remain in a floor where cleaning is significantly not enough. Also you have a charge of 3% when paying with credit card, which it is not specified when you book on booking.com. But the worst for me was that the prices the hotel gives for services as taxis and tickets are almost double you get on the street.
4.2 Okay
Pros: It just takes 5 minutes walking to the center of city.
Cons: The restroom and the floor was so dirty. It did not have hot water to shower. I told them help me clean my room but they did not until I complained them again. The servise was bad.
7.9 Good
Pros: if u can give us room with balcony next time . ...::))
4.0 Okay
Cons: I booked online and was transferred to another hotel because their system was not updated in real time. The hotel where we were transferred had a terrible breakfast and was much cheaper compared to what I paid via hotels.com
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, excellent statffs, good breakfadt
Cons: No security to reach rooms by EV(1~8th via reception at 5thfl) from out side
4.8 Okay
Pros: This hotel does a fairly decent job of managing individuals and groups beginning and ending tours in the area.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good. Bed was uncomfortable. Construction noise early morning to late evening but this is Sapa in general right now. Close to the center of town is about the only highlight. Many other choices in the area. This hotel is good for one night only to get your bearings in Sapa and move on to another place
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was dirty, they didn’t clean it up before our arrival. The bed was unconfortable. There were insects inside the room
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location... And that's it!
Cons: To be honest there wasn't nothing apart from the location that we liked. Let's start with the cleanliness, everything was so dirty and worn. The bathtub was dirty and there was mold on a dirty sticker sticked on the wall of the bathtub, the bed sheets were so dirty that we had to ask the staff to change them several times, all of them were stained. The towels were stained as well. We asked for an early check-in, but the room they gave us didn't have a proper window, which was completely different from the online pictures. We had to change rooms, meaning we had to wait for several hours more. The water pressure was also an issue. The breakfast was poor and there weren't many options for westerners. It was a really bad experience, after one night there we had to change to a different hotel room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: As we did not mentioned that we will arrive very early in the morning (06:30 AM) we very very much surprised to get already our room (early check-in) without any surcharge.
7.9 Good
Pros: Kindness,good information
Cons: Entrance is not good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All I can say was perfectly amazing. It was a memorable experienced. I stayed here for just one night. When I arrived at this hotel the staff welcomed was very friendly. Ice lemon tea for the the welcome drinks. That was incredibly touching. It’s so refreshing. The dorm room was very clean and guess what it was really new. I’ve heard from Diem (host) that all the things are new. I’m so lucky that I’m the first backpacker stayed in this dorm room. The most highlight during my stay was the breakfast. Thanks to the couple named Rex&Rose for the simplest but healthily delicious breakfast. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
Cons: Nothing all was perfect!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Diem and her staff are wonderful hosts. Since we arrived there (early check-in), we were warmly welcome with local rose hot tea and breakfast. Diem know everything and it's easy to get information and guided from her. She helped to prepare us bottle of hot tea for going to Fansipan. Just wow! Even we stayed at Cat Cat Hotel for only 1 night before going to Ta Van village, it is an amazing experience for our first time at Sapa. The location is just perfect! Right in the heart of the town. Just 2min walking to the Sun Plaza for Fansipan ride and 15min walking to Cat Cat Village. The town and street is not much favourite, crowded and noisy but the atmosphere here is very friendly, warm and so fresh. There is open cement staircase to go to each room, so it is a bit unique hotel that has open view in heart of the town. In a clear day (luckily we have), there is great moutain view in the floor 3 and floor 4 bacony you would like to check and take photos. The room is very clean and well facilitated. The staff is much helpful in room service we need. The food is also good. Beside breakfast included, I also have fine dinner and drink there as there is a bar restaurant in 1st floor. Last but not least but worth to mention that Diem and her staff is well English speaking and friendly to chat. :)
Cons: Nothing! Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is really friendly and helpful! They fixed all our minor problems very quickly and helped us with bus tickets
Cons: Had some problems with the hot water
7.9 Good
Pros: The space of the room and the balcony area was nice!
Cons: The bed and pillow were a bit hard. Was a bit warm at night too as electricity got cut off and there’s no small window for the wind/ cold air to come in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central and smells nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic reception
Cons: Couldn't find the kettle
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is payable separately. The location should go up a lot of stairs. There is no good memory. I did not choose well. But you must choose carefully.
Cons: There is no good memory. Not recommended The reason is, firstly, I can not sleep because of the sound of the motor pump. Secondly, it's so painful to lie down in bed because of the smell of moisture and mildew. So I switched to the next room but couldn't sleep because of the same environment. So I had to go to another hotel to pay my accommodation. I don't seem to manage the room. I hope you will not suffer the same damage as me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Super friendly and helpful staff. Giving tips on where to visit, eat, drink etc. - Clean, big rooms. - Free toiletries and water. - Really good location, away from the main square but close to bars and restaurants. - Really decent food and portions for very good price. - Cute cat
Cons: - Bins in the room and bathroom could have been changed during our 3 night stay. - Mattress was pretty hard - Wifi was quite poor. Extremely temperamental.

Pros: Beautiful view of the mountains and valley from our room high above the street , so lovely and quiet. Breakfast served in dining room and patio with wonderful view to look out on! Staff very caring and lovely offering ginger tea and garlic wine when I was unwell, so nice of the lovely lady. Speak very good English too!
Cons: The property was a little old,but for us this added to the charm. Staff forgot to clean our room after first night, but cleaned it as soon as they were informed so wasn’t a problem really.would still recommend staying here!!

Cons: Just 2 choise for Breakfast egg or pho

Pros: the beautiful view from the window. the EXTREME kindness of the staff.
Cons: nothing. everything was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We just stayed here for 1 night before going on a 2 day trip with a local guide. Leaving our big backpacks here to pick up after our trip was over was no problem and no extra costs. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, both we enjoyed.
Cons: Sadly no hot water in the morning, had a cold shower. The cat was meowing loudly at night, woke me up twice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was beautifully kept and located on a bustling street filled with shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and happily assisted us in every way. Beds were comfy and equipped with electric blankets, bathrooms with hot showers and we were pleasantly surprised by the wood burning fireplace (useable if not too windy). The views were definitely the best with many, many vantage points spread throughout the property. The breakfast that was included in our package was delicious and packed with many choices. Overall, a very nice experience. Thank you.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great views. Staff were helpful.
Cons: We decided to splash out a little for the Cat Cat View Hotel's views and we took the VIP suite, which had the best view of all. The view was indeed great but the room seemed a little dingy for the price and nothing special.

Pros: The view. The balcony.

Cons: Breakfast only 7-9 AM, it’s very boring because you can’t sleep late if you want to take the breakfast...

Pros: View was amazing with the balcony view. Aside from that it was very basic. But the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness wasn’t great and staff came into our room a few times without knocking which was a bit unsettling. Language barrier didn’t help cuz they couldn’t properly explain why they came in so we were confused.

Pros: The view is stunning, the staff is super helpful and cute. I was sick and they made me ginger tea! The breakfast is really good too
Cons: If you mind noise, there’s a bar in front of the hotel; the music stops around 00h
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It's a little pity that I stayed here for one night only, cause I had a big problem to come back to Hanoi in the early morning. But my experiences were so beautiful! The host served us a big breakfast! I ate so much that I felt full all day long! The room, although wasn't too much facilities, but I think it was enough for me The bed was really good for me for all day long journey It was easy to find the location of the hotel The view, was the most thing to say, very suitable for me to check-in and pose Insta! Hope to come back again!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was enthusiastic and very friendly. Great view and very close to everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast, great location with a beutiful view
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was lovely and the breakfast was good. Most days there was a small buffet but staff was accommodating when it was not available. The view over the mountains from the balcony was stunning! The room was pretty clean and only a little small- better for one person than two, perhaps. A really great location for trekking as it was on the road out to many villages. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes on the road as well. I’d recommend this hotel over ones that are in the center of Sapa town. Still close to everything, but a bit more quiet with amazing views.
Cons: The karaoke club across the street was at times quite loud- but this never lasted far into the night and I got used to it quickly.

Pros: Clean spacious room with kind staff. Nice air conditioning.
Cons: BREAKFAST: worst juice ever. Towels were cheap and only one was provided.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is quite good beside that need to walk up the slope, and the hotel is comfortable to stay
Cons: The staff not really friendly. I ask for the opinion to get a transport service to the bus station, advise to take taxi ard 30k. I book from grab, the Grab driver raise up the price, ask me to pay for 50k, the rate quote by grab was 20-22k. I am shock how can the grab driver just Double up the price. I ask the staff is that normal, she told me that is normal, if she call a cab run meter the price will be ard 50k, at first she told me 30k, what the... end up I insist to ask her book me a taxi charged by meter, the cab fare end up is 23k. The price is double, I knew mayb u will think that 23k VND is not a lot, but the staff not telling the truth, just perfunctory answer. This make me feel upset
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with good views. Ladies at reception very friendly and efficient. Nice breakfast
Cons: Arrived early morning with overnight sleeper bus and only person at reception an exceptionally rude youngster. Because of a mud slide which destroyed the road the hotel cannot be accessed by car. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps and ask a member of staff to carry your luggage up and down. The hotel failed to mention the issue of accessibility during the booking process.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Despite the noise, comfortable bed. Big clean room & bathroom. Great view. Friendly staff. Good location.
Cons: The bed would get noisy when you move.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and extremely comfortable. Location close to some great restaurants and centre of town. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast fine. Shower and bathroom good. Able to leave bags after early train and bus arrival from Hanoi. Would strongly recommend Le Petit Gecko restaurant near steps from main street.
Cons: I would definitely book and stay there again. However, their access road is out of operation (through no fault of the hotel's) so you have to walk up around 100 stairs from the main road to access the hotel. So if you are unfit, injured, etc, give them a ring and they will send a motor bike down for you and your luggage. But you have to navigate the stairs each time if you are walking around town. We were fine with it (59 yr olds) but just something for others and their physical condition to consider. Also, no elevator in the hotel so again, if unfit or injured get a room on level 4 or 6 (less stairs), but you will miss out on the best views across Sapa. We had room 801 (Deluxe Double) and best view of any room (701 would have a reasonable view as well)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpfull lady behind the reception. Always willing to give us some advise. We got upgraded since we are travelling with our daughter. The room had plenty of space to play in. Fruit at the breakfast was so lovely. Great location in Sapa town. Close to restaurants but not too busy when you step out of the hotel.
Cons: Only a few staff members spoke good English. The rest seemed to have trouble to understand even bodylanguage. Staff using their phone is very common in Vietnam but I just really think it's not professional at all... There are roadworks next to the hotel so the taxi couldn't stop in front of the place. We had to carry our luggage. To go to the centre you need to walk some steep stairs. I kind of liked it as excercise. Breakfast options were ok. But the fried egg tasted too greasy for my taste.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was really nice and the beds were soft:)
Cons: There was a lot of noice due to the construction side next to ot. The workers stopped at 23.00 and started again at 5.00. The rooms Look nicer on the pictures.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the view from the room.
Cons: when we stay at hotel next to hotel was construction...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In Vietnam, I have stayed in over 50 hotels in the last five years and most have pleasant staff but the staff at the Elite went an extra mile. The room was big and the extra king size bed was very comfortable. An fireplace was a nice extra.
Cons: The bath room was very narrow, no more than one meter. This made going to toilet very difficult and entering and existing the shower very cumbersome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location - superb! Staff, facilities, cleanliness - could NOT have asked for more... THE VIEW - STUNNING! We ended up staying longer than we had initially booked!
Cons: The road was under construction when we were there, so we had to take the stairs from the main street up - it was only a problem when we first arrived and we had to carry all our luggage up after an 8 hour bus, other than that it was fine!

7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely views and good location.
Cons: Everyone is allowed to wear shoes inside so everything gets dirty quickly, especially the bathrooms. It would be great if the hostel provided indoor slippers like other hostels in Vietnam.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staf. Good location.
Cons: We booked the hostel on a saturday night. Apperently locals from all villages come to sapa to party on saturday. We booked a mixed dorm, unlucky for us there were 5 very unapproriate old Vietnamese guys with us in there. (We are tree young european girls and they made comments and made pictures of our legs because we were wearing shorts) We were very uncomfortable. But we got that this is one of the disadvantages of booking a mixed dorm room. Afterwards we noticed that our bunk beds didnt have a matres. Only a blanked that should serve as a matras. After asking the reception, the lovely lady from the hostel moved us to a prived room. Which had mold on the walls, pee on the toiletseat, no mirror, really bad matrasses, loud music in the morning and kids screeming. The breakfast was present but very minimal (egg, Bread , butter & paté) not really what is advertised on booking. Although, the staff was nice & helpfull, we were happy to get out and definelty would not recommend.
7.9 Good
Pros: Central location. Good size room, and the bed had an electric blanket which is a great addition. The shower has really hot water and good water pressure. Mrs Moon who run the place is very pleasant and gratious, and really helpful. The Breakfast was nice as well.
Cons: The matress in the room was too old. You can really feel the springs as you lay on it, which made it hard for us to get a good night sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, yummy breakfast, excellent facilities!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The few good things: location, easy to get around Sapa town from here. Breakfast ok. Only one night here so we dealt with these issues, if more nights I would've asked to be moved.
Cons: For $25USD per night we were expecting much better. It was so noisy not only from outside the hotel but also inside. We were on the 1st floor, the "quiet zone" but this is also above the bar and reception downstairs. The noise carries through the large stairway beside it, at all hours of the day and night. Our room was attached to the rooftop balcony thing, which other rooms could also access. Our windows and door that connected to this didn't lock properly and made me feel quite paranoid about people getting into our room. This room doesn't have aircon and the staff member said we could open our windows to cool down- as mentioned before, it was an open rooftop with other people also having access, no thank you! The curtains were gross and dirty with spiders in them. There was a sizeable hole in the wall. Beds were not comfortable and the pillows were more decoration than for sleeping. At least two of the lights weren't working, one didn't even have a light bulb in it. Staff: move your quiet rooms away from all the noise! Make sure windows and doors lock. Repair damage to the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cheap bed dorm but comfortable with good breakfast, friendly staff. I will come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel in center of Sapa walking street Cau May, private room mountain view & bed dormitory, tour & ticket organizers. Friendly staff, comfortable stay, good home cooking food at economical price... Recommend.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We chose this hostel through booking because of the location close to the hostel. However the address was wrong, it is not close at all to the bus station. People working there offer us the taxi but I couldn t say they are especially nice or anything else. The room has moistures. No locker for the bathroom.
