Pros: View walking trails
Cons: Garbage being dump on road
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Unfortunately More clouds and rain than rice fields views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small paradise on earth. Located on the top of 2 hills TOPAS is a small gem in SAPA hills region. Each bungalow is facing the rice fields and the hills. Always giving you a sense of privacy and loneliness. The communal areas are cozy and just felt like home (the big fire place is a plus). Recommend the SPA treatment. and the heated infinity pool.
Cons: For those who like to take a hot shower, don't expect the water temperature to be high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Ecolodge located on the top of hill and far away from the Sapa downtown. We can really enjoy the local environment and culture. We explored the truly terraced field and actual localized life. Every bungalow has amazing scenes. Bed is comfortable and room is really clean. Swimming pool is awesome and pretty. Pool has warm water. Breakfast and their food are tasty and characteristic. They only provide wifi in public area, no wifi and TV in room, I like it because we do not suppose to here for use those things. Just chill leisurely and waste your time in the environment.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top notch hotel in every aspect. Simply beautiful location with everything on a very high level of quality. The pool, gymn and the terrace on the roof top (stunning view from there!) are very nice add-ons. Indeed an amazing place. Also the staff was super helpful and friendly and showed great effort to make me feel better after arriving way too early after an exhausting night train journey and several days of backpacking, looking completely wasted. Additionally they have a great breakfast which is always rare in Asia for my staste. So, it was a joy to stay at this hotel!

7.1 Good
Pros: Hot shower was good, beds, cleanliness and breakfast completely ok. The owner organised me a bus ride to Ninh Binh.
Cons: The breakfast room and lobby were rather cold. Spent there 2 nights in different rooms. The upper one below the roof was quite cold, needed air con to heat up. It was off-saison, but the price was still high. Maybe that’s a Sapa thing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: David and his staff went out of their way to attend to our needs. From early check in , to constantly checking on us to giving us free sandwiches for our 5 hour trip back to Hanoi. He made our trip fun and restful. Special mention to Lica of Authentic Sapa Restaurant for caving in to our craving for Bun Cha which was not even in our menu. We ate most of our meals there and they dont disappoint at all. I will choose Sapa Horizon hotel and perhaps stay in the higher floor.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and attentive. How and Huyen in the bar were particularly helpful, it was a wet cold day and they created a blazing fire and looked after us really well.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 3 nights with really bad weather, not just rain but also there wasn’t any visibility, which meant we couldn’t do any of the planned hikes. The hotel was great in keeping us entertained. The indoor swimming pool, gym, and sauna/steam room were great. Even the pool table and the board games/books available outside the restaurant were all helpful. The breakfast was worth every penny.
Cons: Housekeeping can be quite invasive in their routine checks. A lady entered my room while I was showering and knocked on the bathroom door just to check if everything was ok. I appreciate the effort to check daily on guests but it should have limits.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: 街をみおろす眺め
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The room was lovely and the little touches like the bowl of fruit and turn down service were most appreciated. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable; we were a little cold so they provided us with a heater and they helped us out with trip itineraries and made suggestions about where to hike, where to eat / drink, etc. We took our dog with us and one day we wanted to hike Fansipan; we were advised it might be a little difficult for the dog so they very kindly took care of her for the day; just one example of how they went above and beyond. The swimming pool and sauna were much needed after a day in the cold and the facilities were well kept. Thank you to Hanno, Tao, Nam and the rest of the team for making us feel part of the family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was lovely overlooking the garden Buffet breakfast great selection with a station where you could have eggs cooked for you however you like them. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Faculty is nice and staffs are good
Cons: Keep changing our spa time, it seems there is a miscommunication within internal staffs!
Eco Palms House - Sapa Retreat - Sa Pá - Outdoor view
6
9.1 Excellent (460 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the suite with mountain view. A bit of a splurge but was rewarded with superb views of the valley and nearby villages from my balcony and bathtub! Clean linens, towels and bathroom. The nightly turndown service was a lovely touch. Housekeeping does a good job of cleaning and replenishing water and coffee/tea supplies. The whole Eco Palms service team was friendly and wonderful, spoke English well and catered to our needs. If you are not taking a tour, it is quite likely that you will have most of your meals in the retreat as there are barely any good options within walkable distance. This was not a problem for us - food was of decent quality and clean.
Cons: The hotel right next to Eco Palms was playing loud music for hours, two nights in a row when I stayed there. It was frankly quite unbearable and inconsiderate. I know this isn’t a fault of the owners of Eco Palms but it spoilt the otherwise near perfect experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed two nights at Eco Palms and enjoyed a wonderful massage and herbal bath, as well as an interesting cooking class and visit to the local market. The bungalow was cozy with an amazing view to the rice fields. Kitchen was absolutely delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.
7.1 Good
Pros: I absolutely loooooooved the location. It is so beautiful! The bungalows are a great experience! The pho was delicious.
Cons: 1) they took the money on my bank account to pay for the room several days before we came without telling me. What if I wanted to pay by cash? 2) I ordered 2 taxis, both were late. Actually one didn’t even come so I am not sure if it’s because they forgot to order it or if it’s because the taxi just didn’t show up. At least they were nice enough to transport us themselves. 3) the staff is really nice but: 1 of them just wouldn’t let me talk, and we got a problem with another who did our Laundry. We realized when we got our laundry back that there was a huge hole in one of my boyfriend’s jeans. The woman said there was already a hole when we gave it to her (I have a video where we can see the back of the jeans with no hole in it that has been taken right before we gave it to her). So basically she said it’s not her fault, but if the hole was really there (which I am 99% positive it wasn’t), she should have come to us before cleaning it and show us the hole to make sure we wouldn’t think it’s the hotel’s fault. Anyway, she just said it was already there (so apparently we must be liars) and didn’t even offer anything free (not even the laundry). 4) nothing is sound proof. A lot of animals are there, which I love, but when you are trying to sleep and a bunch of dogs are barking at 6 in the morning it’s not really good. Also, you can hear people talking outside. I would also like to talk about the fact that we had guys working in the rice paddies at 7AM with machines that were very noisy. I think the minimum is to warn the customers so we can put earplugs. Over all, I really loved it even though I complained a lot. Just the bungalow and the location and view makes it worth it. But I hope the staff will take into consideration what I just said.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: + Friendly and helpful staff + Excellent food + Great location and views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't express enough how wonderful Eco Palms house is! I was sick during my visit and the staff would bring me hot tea and accommodated us so nicely. What a lovely place to be sick, haha! The views are stunning and the little dogs running around brightened up my days! I would highly recommend to stay if you are going to SaPa.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are so incredibly kind and friendly. The resort is beautiful with stunning views. Amazing room. This is the perfect place to be away from the town and enjoy the nature and hills of sapa. The food here was exceptional. We will definitely stay here again without a doubt. Had such a wonderful stay here it made our trip! The staff organized a great trek down to the villages with the best guide. The resort was so great we didn’t want to leave

Pros: Haa was a wonderful host and showed us how to make the most of our 2 days in Sa Pa. nothing was too much trouble and she arranged a great tour with a local guide. The beds were the best in Vietnam we have experienced!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was beyond helpful. She booked the trekking tour for me and my husband with a guide from a local village, also booked transportation to and from Sapa to the train station, recommended best places to eat and visit in Sapa. Because of her recommendations and care we spent the most amazing two days in Sapa. About hotel: it was clean, room with a good view. Breakfast was really good, you can choose it from the menu.
Cons: Nothing, we totally recommend.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and extensive friendly staff.
Cons: Only thing was the water pressure however we were warned to wait in between showers so it was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a well-run, comfortable, all-around excellent hotel in Sapa's center. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast good, and if you need anything at all, Ha, the proprietress will organise it for you or advise you. I was so happy here that I stayed 3 extra days.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was super nice and helpful. She waited for us at 6am to check us in. The breakfast is all you can eat and delicious. The room is big and comfortable.
Cons: The room was quite cold and there was no heater or ac, although there was an electric mattress. We arrived at 6am to the hotel. Beforehand we asked for an early check-in, and was kindly agreed, at a price of 200k. We felt the price for the early check in was a bit expensive comparing to other facilities in Vietnam.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ms. Ha is very friendly and helpful! When I fell ill , I could change our scheduled arrival without a problem, which was very kind. The rooms are great, clean and comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast is also amazing with a great range of options. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Located in the centre of town. Easy to find and accessible to all amenities. Extremely friendly staff who were eager to help us. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Good pressure shower and very clean room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Huge choice of hot and cold food and drinks.
Cons: The music in the sky lounge bar was extremely loud especially when we visited (12noon - 1pm). Not the hotels fault but the hallway outside our room was very noisy. Children running up and down and guests talking. Without mats on the ground it echoed into the bedroom late at night and early in the morning. Perhaps signs up reminding guests to respect others and keep the noise down

Cons: Naked walls, no “soul”

Bamboo Sapa Hotel - Sa Pá - Pool

A bus station shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice big and clean and comfortable. Staff also nice and helpful.
Cons: Great location but the road is under construction. Sounds proofing system very poorly. I can hear everything outside the hall way or the room opposite room. Some staff doesn't speak English. As the 4stars hotel you should be able to communicate English better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: View is amazing. Great location with good bar across the road (Hmong sisters), staff were very helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom spacious.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, but overall it was good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful view
Cons: The road in front ò the hotel so terible
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is very good. It’s big one compared to other small hotels. Hotel standard facilities. The view from the room is stunning. Make sure you book room with mountain. You won’t regret for paying a little bit more. Beautiful Swimming pool. Breakfast was good too.
Cons: Not sure if it’s just unfortunate coincidence but I feel Linens and towels were not very clean. There was weird smell from the hallway. Other then that, all good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for 2 days 1 night. We arrived at 8am, & no rooms were available for early check in. Check in time was 2pm. We were allowed to store our luggage there while we head out. We returned to the hotel around 12noon and our room was available for us already. As it was my fiance birthday the next morning, I had requested for some birthday decorations to be done and ordered a cake with them as well. (Additional charges included for birthday cake). Bamboo Sapa Hotel instead did a honeymoon decoration, which was pretty impressive. Rooms are very clean and spacious! The view from the room was amazing & I truly enjoyed it. Hotel is located within 10 minutes distance from Sunworld Fanispan Cable Car station (located inside Sunplaza,Sapa Station). Many food, and eateries near by. The pool has an amazing view as well, although we could not use it due to the rain during our stay. Overall; I had amazing stay here! Will definitely revisit.
Cons: The one thing that should improve is communication by your receptionist. The receptionist could not even converse in basic English. I called via the room phone and asked for some clarifications & the receptionist could not even converse in basic English and instead asked if I could speak in viet. It's a tourist place, and the hotel receives guests from all around the world. Basic conversation skills should really be improved on.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The portiers were the unique workers that smiled and helped us the rest of them doesnt reach the minimum standard of an Hotel.
Cons: Very fast to cash the early check in but they gave us a largue bed and not a double bed. Then they moved us at 12:00 and gave us a basic room while we paid and booked a superior with mountain views. The most part of the Staff looked to us as we were disturbing them only to be there... nobody speaks english here...NEVER IN MY LIFE
5.0 Okay
Pros: Superior room with mountain view has an incredible view of Mt. Fansipan. Breakfast options are good. The pool is also incredible and probably highlight of this property ( was told by receptionist that water is heated but this is a total lie). Location is central and close to restaurants, within walking distance to major attractions.
Cons: -Rooms had an incredibly uncomfortable odour coming from the bathroom, informed HSK and they came with what looked like window spray and sprayed the floor, solution was ineffective and did not mask the smell. Moved rooms and the problem was still existent in the new room. -Check-in and check-out was somewhat haphazard. I had asked the receptionist upon check-in if my room was double or twin (mind you I spoke in Vietnamese so language barrier is not an issue) and she confirmed it was a double bed (dường đơn). Upon entering the room I was disappointed to see that it was a twin. Rather irrational as I was travelling alone and made it clear in my reservation. I then proceeded to return to the reception to ask why I was given a twin room when I was told it was a double. The receptionist became rather triggered and bluntly defended herself by saying that she meant the bed was a double not the bed layout?? Makes no sense honestly. So I had requested for a double bed but it was unavailable, told me to check again tomorrow morning as if they were not able to check on the POS to see if any rooms have been blocked for tomorrow? -Booked the superior room and was honestly really disappointed with the room condition. It was largely worn down, required major maintenance and the highly uncomfortable bathroom odour. -Upon check out I was requested to place a donation for whatever fundraising the hotel was running. The request was a command rather than a question. Rather assertive and awkward. Would suggest to place a donation box by the reception desk with further information and allow guests to decide if they would like to donate rather than verbally commanding them to do so. -Hotel is currently located in an unpaved area with high construction. This may mean that cars can not enter at certain times and walking around will be quite muddy. In addition, construction noise will disturb your slumber so keep this in mind. -Overall not worth the 4-star rating that this property carries

7.1 Good
Pros: Receptionist were very nice and friendly. They were willing to tell and instruct us some famous attractions to visit and inform us the weather status in next coming days, so we can plan our trip in advanced. The location was quite closed to tourist attractions like Cat Cat village, Ham Rong mountain, Sapa Rock Cathedral...
Cons: Did not have the heat oven in the first day. The dishes for breakfast and dinner were not diversified for our choice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Mysterious circumstances due to thick fog.
Cons: In my opinion, it was very cold due to high altitude which I did not count on.
7.1 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony is lovely. The staff was helpful. The hot shower was great after a day of trekking. The location is very convenient. The breakfast was tasty.
Cons: The smell comimg from the bathroom was awful. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use some renovations.
7.5 Good
Pros: The view from breakfast and the breakfast itself.
Cons: Staff for check-in not welcoming
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Open fire in room (in cold evenings)!
Cons: Most staff did not speak English.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has three level terraces with a just awesome view. You will eat your breakfast in the restaurant and enjoy this view around you. And if you have the same experience, you will enjoy one of the cheapest decent food in Sapa.
Cons: The room furniture was old a bit, and our number hadn't AC. In the bathroom was a bit cold, even it was September. But the rooms have the chimney, so in the winter should be cozy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great nice crepe style pancakes. Staff friendly and helpful.room was very spacious and clean. Hotel was nice enough to store our luggage when our scheduled bus was canceled and they offered us a temporary room to shower and clean up after we checked out, much appreciated touch.

Pros: The location is good.
Cons: Wifi is poor, especially inside the room. Toilet has a smell.
4.0 Okay
Cons: I booked online and was transferred to another hotel because their system was not updated in real time. The hotel where we were transferred had a terrible breakfast and was much cheaper compared to what I paid via hotels.com
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Actually everything was fine for the price.
Cons: The water pressure
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had two rooms on 7th floor with balconies and they had huge windows. It was amazing. Best view in Sapa town. Rooms were big, as shown on photos. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: Maybe little bit more fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good service staff, requested room change with mountain view, staff change room to the second night to 6 floors and have a beautiful view.
Cons: Booked for 2 nights and requested a room with a mountain view. But since going to check in late Therefore did not get the requested room
4.8 Okay
Pros: This hotel does a fairly decent job of managing individuals and groups beginning and ending tours in the area.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good. Bed was uncomfortable. Construction noise early morning to late evening but this is Sapa in general right now. Close to the center of town is about the only highlight. Many other choices in the area. This hotel is good for one night only to get your bearings in Sapa and move on to another place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed an upgrade room due to drop in Tourists, lovely view of Church in Sapa.
Cons: Nothing could be better, Receptionist was fantastic, very helpful at all times. Gladly recommend to family and friends to stay at Panorama Hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: Its is located almost in the middle of everything. Bus station only 15 mins walk, the church is 2 minutes away, tourist information close to Sapa station (for Fansipan) is 3 minutes from hotel, also Cat Cat village is 30 minutes downhill. Buffet breakfast was nice, especially pancakes. The staff is friendly and let us keep the backpacks at reception after we checked out.
Cons: Its hiding behind buildings in front.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is amazing, you are 5mn away of the station that leads to Mt Fansipan and 1mn away of the centre of Sapa. The people working at the reception can help with the different visits that you can do in Sapa.
Cons: I was on a trip in February (winter) and it was very cold inside the room, as they do not heat up the rooms. I did not like much the food of the breakfast as it is mainly some asian food that you will find.
7.9 Good
Pros: Super nice location, staff, food and view but our room was a little bit aged
Cons: Aged rooms (walls) but the furnitures and stuff were good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Panorama Hotel sits on the tip of hilly Sapa town, providing a breath taking view of the miniature valley that overlooks the Church and the town’s square. On the inside, the service provided by the staff is welcoming and probably well on its way to reaching the standards of Singapore Airlines. Most of them speak English pretty well too, thus communication was not an issue as compared to the rest of Vietnam. The interior designs of the hotel gives an antique and rustic feel while still making the guest feel very comfortable and cosy during the stay. The hotel is definitely the place of choice to go to if one were to ever return / visit Sapa in the future.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking in variety, serving the exact same items in the exact same layout every single day. An inclusion of greater variety would be good. The shower had some issues, where it is very hard to obtain warm water for showering. The shower was either a mix of burning inferno of hot water, or arctic ice cold waters with a very slim and marginal tight and fine line to walk if one desires the need for warm water.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was fantastic. Available for questions on the phone at work anytime. Even dropped us off in town at a great restaurant for hotpot. Staff was great but nobody but his father understood any English at all; made it a little tricky at times but manageable. Breakfast and coffee were a fine variety. Fireplace in room made for cozy atmosphere in rainy weather. Grounds are a beautiful balance of Feng-shui elements.
Cons: This is just in the form of a caution that has no reflection on the place at all. The beautiful and artful location sign is not really obvious coming from Sapa or Hanoi so you have to coach your driver as to the entrance. Our limo driver back to Hanoi was 1/2 hour late because of this.

Pros: Perfect hostess despite barrier of language. Friendly and attentive

Pros: Comfortable bed with mattress heater, breakfast good and tasty bread, wide room and nice garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts we're really great and so helpful. The grounds we're so lovely and everything was just like the pictures. We loved having a bed warmer and coming back in the afternoon/night to a fire lit in the room. Excellent value for the money.
Cons: I don't have any complaints!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful garden, gorgeous building. 10/10. Loved the doggie doggles too. Didn’t mind the walk there and back from Sapa,or, Cat Cat.
Cons: Staff. Plus, breakfast was very awful. Over cooked eggs and insufficient amount of food. If you need more which you clearly do, then, they like to charge you. When we asked for one more cup of coffee, we were asked to pay. I have to say that they did give us the free coffee BUT a staff member went around the corner of the room, out of sight from us, BUT NOT out of earshot, and began clearing out his/her nasal passages many times. SICKENING.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was excellent. We stayed in the family suite which was very huge, and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The owner's father helped us start a fire at the fireplace at night to keep us warm. The room had a very nice view, and the garden was nice to stroll in as they have plants, flowers and some animals roaming freely. Since it was outside of town, it was also quiet all through the day and night. The beds were equipped with heating pad so that was a really nice touch to keep us warm and toasty because the weather gets pretty cold at night. The entire hotel including the rooms was spotlessly clean. The breakfast prepared by the owner's mum was very good too. Nam Hong (the owner) and his family were extremely friendly and warm. Honestly my best stay ever. Really enjoyed this accommodation.
Cons: It's just a little outside of the town, about 30-40 mins walk but taxis and grab are readily available. Only cost about 50k VND to the town, and the journey is below 10 mins so it's nothing to complain about.

Pros: Beautiful comfortable rooms. So cozy with radiators, electric blankets and open fires. Good breakfast and very very quiet. Out of the town but taxis were cheap
Cons: Was told had to pay for the fire after having it on. Only 5 dollars a night but would have been nice to know.
