9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a family run hotel, the owners are three brothers who are artists, that’s why the rooms, public space and garden are designed with excellent taste. The view from the hotel is absolutely amazing, the garden is well kept and beautiful. The atmosphere was very friendly. We got a generous upgrade with our rooms which was a pleasant surprise. All the food for breakfast was of superior quality and beautifully presented. Our special thanks to charming Caroline for hospitality and grace! We certainly recommend to stay at this lovely place.
Cons: There is no door to the bathroom. Looks very modern and stylish but is not always comfortable (will be fair to note that the toilet is in a separate room). We would appreciate more storage space for clothes and some other things. The lamp stands at the bedside look great but a regular bedside table with a drawer would be more convenient. A couple of additional waste bins would be good too.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners are amazing and they make all the effort to make sure you have a pleasent stay
Cons: We loved it all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The setting is lovely, comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast was a very expensive extra, I think a continental breakfast could have been included.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the wonderful family who own and run the Toile Blanche. Huge, comfy bed. Wonderfully quiet location and delicious breakfast. Sadly we weren’t able to try the dinner menu but I should imagine the food is excellent
Cons: Our only minor complaint would be the noise outside our suite in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful guesthouse in a great location. The team are amazing, so friendly and helpful. A very relaxing stay. The food and cocktails are great too. Would definitely recommend staying here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place with incredible view on St Paul Venice, very pleasant staff, everything is well organized . The restaurant makes sense to visit even if you are not staying in the hotel.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was superb, in particular Mahmoud who met me at the entrance and showed me the property. I loved the room with the terrace and the pools. Definitely a place I will recommend to others and want to experience again myself.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything - it is such a dreamy place, I hope we will be able to come back every year. The staff is wonderful - from reception to the pool. The location and the hotel itself is amazing, so beautiful and special. We stayed in two different rooms and one was better than another.
Cons: The food is the only area for improvement. Room service food wasn’t great and we weren’t too impressed with the main restaurant. Ficus and breakfast were nice but the room service and the main restaurants could be improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at!!!
Cons: The staff was not up to the majesty of the property

Pros: Great property!
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 99.99999% staff friendliness Manager Ben is great. Room is luxurious and comfortable. Food is excellent if not best of best. The pool side restaurant serve better food than coffee bar but close at 3pm. Everything is perfect.
Cons: 1) only one of spa staff was very rude. She was introducing facilities to new client. After waiting for a while because they were blocking the gym door.i went in passing them to grab bottled drink in gym and I was questioned. The wording is ok but the massaging pass is very rude. It sounds like :are you a sex criminal? Back off! 2)I booked tennis courts two months before arrival and confirmed by email. On first and last day of stay I got other guests to claim court. The first is a Father and Daughter)6 yrs old) made me felt guilty but I got sons to play with too. They left in doubt but smooth. The last day is not smooth at all. I had to fight for my rights. The lady in concierge desk first use wrong date to kick me out. Can you believe a fs staff think today is tomorrow? Very unlikely. Then why? In good question. Then she attempted to claim I had only one hr of booking and I should pass court to coach and other guest. I had to bring out written proof of my reservation at that point. My kids would definitely been kicked out of court if I wasn’t present and hold hard copy. It’s quiet fishy here. Above two staff totally break all the efforts the rest of hotel staff working hard for. House cleaning maid would turn around and say hey even there is no direct eye contact. You can sense it’s from heart and not superficial. Judge contrast here. On one raining day, breakfast tea cup contain left over Clean liquid or lemonade. Once add milk it start chemicals react. Happen only once! Breakfast coffee was way better made than afternoon. Cup also changed from large to small. Same beans but the craft of making does down grade a bit. If compared.

6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor
Cons: Building work on one of the floors noisy workmen started at 8:30 am
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs were extremely friendly. They offered valet parking and kindly delivered our luggages to the room. The hotel building itself was like a historically and artistically valuable museum.
Cons: Amenities were not luxurious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent all round - brilliant service, very approachable personnel, great facilities, amazing location. Very authentic and quaint rooms (very clean). Great food too!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel with the history and atmosphere. Good location. The most comfortable mattress and pillows which we ever had in the hotels.
Cons: The stuff during breakfast could be more friendly. Could be perfect to have some welcome drink or just complimentary bottle of the water in the room
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access.
Cons: The carpet in the halls made it hard to move luggage around and did not fit the period and style of the hotel. Some of the art didn't suit the hotel ambiance. The carpet in our room was very worn and old. The bathroom had chipped sharp tiles and had not been updated which was a little disappointing for the price point. We were also disappointed that no one informed of the beach facilities available.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2.8 Mediocre

Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

Pros: The garden was lovely, and the decoration colourful and in good taste. Tea and coffee available in the room
Cons: I could not sleep: I was too hot under a quilt. I am used to blankets Pity!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very cozy and clean. Site staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Location is great - 25 minutes walk from Massena square along one of the main streets of Nice that is full of shops and sightseeings. However, if you want, there is a tram line on the street that will take you there in 10 minutes. Hotel provides parking space ( 15 euro per night) and is close to the highway, so the location is very good for those traveling by car. Breakfast is delicious. There is a charming green garden. I would recommend this place to my best friends:)
Cons: Slow wi-fi in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very clean. The reception staff where very helpful and on hand to provide recommendations for dining locally and giving directions.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet hotel away from the centre but close to the tram link
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and kind hotel owners. Delicious and very varied breakfasts. The hotel is located in a quiet area with direct access to the main tram line. Very clean room cleaning every day by the hotel service.
6.7 Good
Pros: While the property is away from the centre of Nice, it was quite easy to travel as there was a tram stop few minutes away that took us directly into the centre in 15 minutes. The staff was also very nice and accommodating.
Cons: We got the standard room, and it was very very very small, especially the bathroom - not what we expected staying away from the city centre and for the price we paid for the room. If we had known we would have chosen something closer to the city with that room size. The air conditioning didn't work properly, luckily the weather was good so it didn't bother us too much but this would be an issue in the peak of summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I missed wifi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely historic building. The rooms very exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Lovely garden and breakfast. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Had a lovely stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: the room service menu was limited and over priced for the quality however the staff were perfect. Friendly polite available knowlegable but not intrusive. The hotel is stunning and a perfect location for everything especially if you would like to be close to the city but not right inside. Will definitely return in and around sept/oct as i imagine in summer it maybe a different experience not worse just different. We both really loved this hotel.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was polite, funny and spoke perfect English. The manager worked like crazy to help out at the breakfast. We were impressed.
Cons: The rooms! They're fine but there was absolutely no where to put anything. Our room had one lawn chair. It was weird. It all feels a little too Miami Vice with the colors. Felt slightly Miami-ish/Golden Girls. Bottom floor was noisy with window open.

Pros: Location is too good. 5 mins walk from train station and 5 mins walk from tram stop, 10 mins walk from beach. 10 mins walk from main square(place massena) where lot of options for restaurants are available. Breakfast was good. Especially freshly prepared pan cakes and croissants.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were here just for a week. Hotel is located centrally right across from the beach. Rooms are very specious with luxuries beds. Dinner experience at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Just one small issue - we did not get city center view as the website promised. Balconies were facing each other with no privacy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good and convenient location is always the prime condition for us to pick a hotel when we travel, Hyatt Regency in Nice is in the centre of the city, very convenient for city tour or if one wants to visit Cannes, Monte Carlo and other neighbouring cities. The buffet breakfast was good and so was the dinner. The staff at the concierge were especially helpful and professional. We'll definitely book the same hotel if we're going to visit Nice again in future.
Cons: The hotel is a bit old which is within our expectation, it's natural according to its history but the maintenance is good despite its age. So nothing to complain about.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location was great. The staff was helpful, they also advised on things to do in Nice and around. Room was nice and the View from the Balcony was great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were particularly welcoming and responded immediately to my request for a tea tray in our room, including a kettle which was the only thing lacking. The hotel location was excellent and we were able to take the new tram from the airport to the old port of Nice, which was then only a short walk to the hotel and the promenade des Anglais.
Cons: We didn't like the long pile carpet as we consider this to be impractical for a hotel bedroom. Also the pillows were too hard for me and there was no choice of a softer one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the location ,room 501 was clean spacious had a large terrace fully furnished with sun loungers , table and chairs. The view was amazing it was private and peaceful even though we were only minutes from the old town of Nice. The staff were helpful and polite.
Cons: Our only criticism would be that in certain places the hotel requires a little tlc a lick of paint and some replacement furniture would not go amiss. Having said that we have very much enjoyed our stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and pool area
Cons: Breakfast should’ve beenincuded in price or be a bit cheaper
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff gave excellent service and greet always.
Cons: They’re quite good except one woman who handles with restaurant la patio. Once went there for breakfast, even greeting and call delayed action, no smile, not completed preparation for breakfast, and even we ordered a coffee, she tried us to induce tea, then serving coffee pot, roughly she put.

Pros: Amazing as always
Cons: N/A
7.0 Good
Pros: The view is just amazing. The girl at the Hotelbar very friendly . The spa is small but nice . You find a view choices of Sauna. Ice section is great.. To cool down your body. Room has a great view
Cons: The welcome was not very professionnel. The entrance door didn't worked , we standed outside confused while two workers on the inside desk where watching and didn't care at all... how we get in. They didn't helped , we found our way. . The receptionist gave us a charming smile at least and was friendly. The room is very standard and cold style and the terrace you have is not at all privat. You can see your neighbor on terrace. For a weekend ok but not longer . As quite all rooms are under the hotel restaurant, you hear even two floors more down , when they move the chairs in the morning. Breakfast was not good quality. I couldn't take on slice of cheese or sausage because it looked so old . Was shocked... it's pre season but this should never happen .
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is very nice. Close to Eze, La Turbie, Monaco and Nice. In La Turbine is a great restaurant (La fourchette libre)
Cons: The staff could be more friendly, the offers (breakfast) are quite poor for 20.- € / person it is actually really expensive. The food looked from yesterday and the offer was lets say minimalistic.

Pros: The View Architecture from the building Kindness from the staff
Cons: The interior is a bit cold. The parking is catastrophic - not enough places - but the kind staff solves all trouble with a smile and all the keys from the cars which are double or triple parked. The food is basic.

6.5 Good
Pros: The location is decent. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The grounds out back were beautiful.
Cons: The bed has seen better days. The hotel is tired. It has been updated, but oddly it wasn't completed. The doors to the rooms look horrendous, which is your first impression. The bathroom is awkward and tight. The room itself is pretty and has been mostly updated, but the beds/pillows need a serious upgrade.

9.6 Excellent

Pros: The place is just marvelous. Excellent option to recharge your battery.
Cons: Second time we stay and second time I ask for at least something without gluten and lactose for the breakfast and it is again ignored. Will be really happy if next time they provide a piece of gluten free bread and lactose free yogurt. Or anything person with this kind of problems could consume for the breakfast.

Pros: great location staff was nice and helpful - but they could use some carts to help take you to rooms, they are so far away with the great campus.
Cons: slippery
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing with breathtaking views, it's very peaceful, with beautiful coastal walks around to Cap Ferrat. It's a short walk to Beaulieu with it's charming cafes, restaurants and shops - and it's train station which we used for a trip to Monaco. We also used our hire car for trips to Eze, Grasse, Nice, Menton and Cannes - all easy to reach from here. The hotel has lots of fun facilitites and activities - we made very good use of the beautiful swimming pool as well as the mini golf, boules, pool, bouncy castle and gym (which was small but always empty). The room was excellent with very comfortable beds, lots of storage, very good lighting, a big television, good housekeeping service, lots of power points and hot water was always available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel location is amazing, most beautiful views you can enjoy right in this hotel. Room was spacious, clean and renovated. Beds were very comfortable. We booked the dinner and we really enjoy it, it was really worth. And of course personal is very friendly. Mersi!

Pros: The magic location in the green beautiful place. Tasty breakfast
Cons: When we arrive, it was my wife’s birthday. Nobody from the reception staff did not notice this. In last 10 years it was the first time, when the 5 stars hotel did not congratulate the birthday guest. Not comfortable pillows
Cons: Club sandwich too creamy and overpriced. Slightly strange to have to walk though the reception and lounge /bar in robes to get to the pool while other guests have meetings or lunch/drinks but didnt seem to be an issue

Pros: Location was fantastic - Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is beautiful! A little piece of paradise on earth!
Cons: The cheapest wine was as expensive as my evening meal!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is situated in ST Jean Cap Ferrat which is just outside and past Nice. It was a nice location with A beautiful view of the Ocean. The Hotel has a wonderful restaurant with a fixed price menu , which was exceptional. The wait staff there were very friendly and helpful, making the evening meal a fantastic experience . The hotel staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to help and advise us on things to do and places to eat. The Hotel is located very close to the Rothchild's home and gardens, which is a must to visit. The Hotel also has free parking which was a nice plus for us. All in all We would highly recommend the Royal Riviera for its location, staff and comfort.
