This hotel if very nice and reasonabily priced. It is an easy walk to everything. It is also very clean. When we arrived, there was no record of my reservation. We had no reservation. Luckily they had room for us but had to move to another room once and had to go to a different hotel ( Casa Margarite) for the last day and that hotel was far inferior to Parador Margarite. Not good!
Excellent location, close to the center, but not too close either. Internet connexion was flawless. The hotel is fresh and cool, even on hotter days. Interiour court is calm and peacefull.
Feel at a country home in one of Mexico's most beautiful colonial cities. The hotel is small and has a homey feeling, surrounding a beautiful garden in cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, casual and nice warm breakfast. Quiet -hard to find in town- only three blocks away from downtown. Definitely will come back. Ask for rooms away from the kitchen area. Breakfast workers become noisy at 6:00 AM due to architectural issues. Everything else is excellent.
Visiting San Cristobal de las Casas, trip to Palenque a little bit far from Zocalo
It was a charactor hotel within easy access to the centre. I am sure when the building work is completed it will be a very quiet place to stay.
Very nice and clean hotel. It is very well located: quite central without being noisy. The staff was helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Very good value for money.
A nice place for a correct price in a wonderful part of mexico
Very quiet and clean hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was lovely and had a powerful shower. It's really close to the zocalo and 15 minutes walking from the bus station. A lovely place to stay in San Cristobal.
The staff at the front desk were really helpful with answering any questions that I had. The public space in the hotel is really beautiful and if it is a long stay, you can enjoy some time outside the room. The room was really basic and the pillows were extremely hard. The rooms had no sound proofing at all. So you can hear everyone talking, walking outside the corridor.
The location in proximity to the town centre was very close, it only took 5 minutes to walk anywhere we needed to. The bed was awefully hard, not very comfortable at all. The bathroom was pretty basic. Could do with updating. The room was very noisy.
This hotel is beautiful! Clean and very cozy.
The cleanliness of the hotel and comfort. Close to everything!!! Nothing
Very friendly and helping staff. Clean rooms and very good breakfast. Strategical location, close to the zocalo. Avoid a room at streetside. Some streetnoice.
The location The restautant tried to charge me with the price of a bottle of sour wine that I refused!!
Gloria, the cleaning woman, Mateo and Eder - two of the excellent waiters and Alfredo, one of the managers come to mind as "Muy Muy Amable", however everyone who I met that worked at the Hotel Tierra y Cielo were very friendly and helpful! I felt like I as a member of an extended family! I highly recommend this hotel to people visiting San Cristobal Las Casas. I definitely plan on coming back! I thank all the beautiful people of the hotel Tierra y Cielo very much - "Muchos Gracias"!
Very charming hotel with abundant varied breakfast. The rooms have a natural feel and it is a very sweet hotel. Romantic and two mins away from the zocalo. Recommended.
The position of the hotel - near to main attractions and restaurants. Some rooms can be very noisy as they face a main road
Nice design and very comfortableVery friendly staff. An oasis of calm !
