The staff at the front desk were really helpful with answering any questions that I had. The public space in the hotel is really beautiful and if it is a long stay, you can enjoy some time outside the room. The room was really basic and the pillows were extremely hard. The rooms had no sound proofing at all. So you can hear everyone talking, walking outside the corridor.
It was a charactor hotel within easy access to the centre. I am sure when the building work is completed it will be a very quiet place to stay.
Excellent location, close to the center, but not too close either. Internet connexion was flawless. The hotel is fresh and cool, even on hotter days. Interiour court is calm and peacefull.
Very quiet and clean hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was lovely and had a powerful shower. It's really close to the zocalo and 15 minutes walking from the bus station. A lovely place to stay in San Cristobal.
Very nice and clean hotel. It is very well located: quite central without being noisy. The staff was helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Very good value for money.
Feel at a country home in one of Mexico's most beautiful colonial cities. The hotel is small and has a homey feeling, surrounding a beautiful garden in cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, casual and nice warm breakfast. Quiet -hard to find in town- only three blocks away from downtown. Definitely will come back. Ask for rooms away from the kitchen area. Breakfast workers become noisy at 6:00 AM due to architectural issues. Everything else is excellent.
This hotel if very nice and reasonabily priced. It is an easy walk to everything. It is also very clean. When we arrived, there was no record of my reservation. We had no reservation. Luckily they had room for us but had to move to another room once and had to go to a different hotel ( Casa Margarite) for the last day and that hotel was far inferior to Parador Margarite. Not good!
Visiting San Cristobal de las Casas, trip to Palenque a little bit far from Zocalo
A nice place for a correct price in a wonderful part of mexico
Modern and functional facilities. It is noisy and they hold parties late at night.
Very good location Hallway was noisie, everything echoes, but no alot of traffick. If hotel gets very busy and coming into rooms late, then you will hear everything and wont sleep. Unless you sleep like a rock.
