7.9 Good
Cons: The AC was not working, and the room was extremely hot, but the hotel made it right after all.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the breakfast, small kitchen in the suite and pizza. View on Bordeaux, from 8th floor balcony was very interesting.
Cons: Our room was not well isolated from noise from next room and outside. There was a party in room next to ours and I had to ring on their door to ask them to calm down. We did not sleep much between midnight to 5 AM. Also there was some draft from the door to the balcony which made our room full of smell of cigarettes from room next to hours.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is close to city center what is great for people coming to visit the city
Cons: The kitchen had a very bad smell
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A large bed in a large room. Very quiet.
Cons: The carpet was stained. It would need to be replaced.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location with good on site parking and easy access to Bordeaux centre by tram. Clean , comfortable, spacious room with good facilities. Pleasant public spaces and bar area.
Cons: Restaurant was disappointing, it is second time we have tried it hoping first experience was just an off night, but sadly not. Such poor quality food again , we opted for one of the evening’s specials on the menu thinking they would be well prepared for those options and whilst not expecting a gourmet experience it shouldn’t be hard to get burger and fries right.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean. Comfortable room. Great shower/ bathroom.
Cons: Many of the staff did not smile and gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. Only one gentleman behind reception was friendly and helpful

Cons: Absolutely nothing!
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was great, clean and very nice.
Cons: The night we arrived was a marathon which closed off all local streets for a mile so we had to walk with our bags. The band for the marathon was playing outside our window until 1:30 am. No notification from the hotel. Had I known, I would have booked a different day or hotel. Hotel concierge also didn’t warn me the trains would all be booked the next day due to the marathon. We had to wait 3 hours for an available train. I had asked the concierge how early we needed to buy tickets and she said we only needed to arrive 20 min early. We missed our dinner at our destination.

Pros: the room comfortable
Cons: Parking was not included and had to paid over night parking. Not explain to the hotel guest.

Cons: I was in a twin (single bed) room, but I knew that and for the price it was ok
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Excellent city centre location and ideal for exploring the city.
Cons: The only thing missing from the described hotel details was a bar area..
5.7 Okay
Pros: Could not be closer to the center of all activities-pedestrian shopping streets, riverfront , opera, restaurants and cafes, trams, tourist info center. room accessories. Positives focus on reception staff-very courteous, most helpful with restaurant bookings, taxis etc. if looking for clean, moderately priced hotel for basic functional needs in the core of this beautiful 18th and 19th century city, you can't go wrong.
Cons: Unfortunately lobby, reception, bar areas very outdated, dark and unappealing. Rooms extremely small for couples.Breakfast buffet very ordinary in a dreary second floor space. Not worth 14 euros unless included in room price.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: need slight renovation, hotel looks very tired.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great, friendly and communicated in English well. The place is situated right next to the Tauzia tram stop, meaning that the famous Place de Bourse is around 5-10 minutes away. Finally, we really enjoyed the chicken joint nearby, called FFC - Fast Fried Chicken :) For just a few euro, you can have some truly great fries, chicken and burgers!
Cons: Firstly, the main issue: no internet on our floor. We had to download something to watch while in the lobby. Secondly, the room has a bed (a large one) which is past its prime and not exactly comfortable - if only they exchanged the mattress, it would have been so much better. Also, the bathroom is a bit odd, it seems like it's some kind of module that was added to the room later.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was close to the train station and the tram. Late departure 11am. Friendly staff.
Cons: The room was old and shaby. The shower room needs a total refurbishing. The lino on the floor was torn and missing The bed is hard as the materess is sooo slim.

Cons: The bunk bed idea was a bit off, climbing up was too risk every time hit the head on the ceiling and the stairs too steep not ideal after having a drinking and coming done to use the bathe room during the night. Would be free from tea making facilities in the room.

We requested another room, facing the backyard, it was quiet there, but it was extremely hot in the room and we could not decrease the temperature, we had to open the window at 1PM to cool down. The bed was also very uncomfortable, needs replacement.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Larger room and no bunk bed to bang my head on.
Cons: The corner of the breakfast bar where the bread and pastries are gets too crowded because it is in the corner.

Pros: Staff very nice.’ Bed was a little hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous 3 night stay here. The owner gave us a free room upgrade. Breakfast was super, local produce and we were asked which pastries we would prefer. The facilities are excellent, to have a small kitchen area at your disposal with coffee etc and a fridge to use was really helpful and courtyard areas with outdoor seating. The pool area was lovely and the location very quiet and peaceful, but still easy access to the city (a 2km straight walk). The cleanliness of the room was unquestionable, absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Good attention to detail with plugs and mirrors in the right place etc. Shutters at the windows etc. Really exceptional. Street parking is free on the surrounding roads. It says “payant” on the road but there was a local resident revolt and so it is totally free.
Cons: We can’t think of anything!

8.2 Excellent
Cons: Overall a nice stay at this ibis in Bordeaux, however we asked to be moved to a different room on the second day as the first one was too hot to sleep (around 26 degrees C). The staff told us that the air conditioning is set by the hotel and is currently on “warm” only (I guess given the season). However the second room was much more pleasant in terms of temperature.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is really good, close to bus and tram stops. Not too far from city centre as well. Clean and spacious room.
Cons: My room was supposed to include access to a patio, but that was nowhere to be seen. Breakfast, like most ibis hotels, was average.

Pros: Bed. Restaurant. Breakfast.
Cons: Improvements going in the reception area. Restaurant closed in afternoon. No coffee facilities in room.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was good. It has very easy access to city centre. However, the room was too hot, the aircon wasn't working. It was so hot, stuffy in the room. We asked a member of the staff and were told to open the window. We left the window wide open and it was so noisy during the night, fire engine, police car and people shouting, etc.
Cons: Location.
6.3 Good
Pros: Ok - reasonable value for money
Cons: Bar/ restaurant was poorly stocked with both drink/ice and the staff acted as if they really did not want to be there. We were told food was available until 10.30 pm by the reception staff, but I heard the staff tell some people who wanted to eat at 10 20 pm that the kitchen was closed. My wife and I had a delayed journey and having had little to eat that day made a big effect to be there for 10.30 but were also told that the kitchen was closed. Nobody seemed to care. We would not stay there again because the generally didn’t seem to care about anything the customers wanted but just when they could finish their shift. There also seemed no one available with any responsibility to manage the situation or the staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: As expected, good value, clean and with everything necessary for overnight stay.
