This is an older hotel but was clean and the staff was wonderful. The prices were great for in-room dining and for dining in the dining room. The sundries shop price points were also well within reason, which is very untypical for a hotel.
Had to change my room it was smelly like mildew and must dirty I wasnt going to change rooms again but was so frustrated I checked out at 5am and I had a meeting for work no sleep horrible calling booking.com so hopefully I get my money back.
The only thing good about this hotel was the free cookies they gave out. I expected more from a hotel rated "4 stars". Turns out the only thing I should have expected was how overpriced everything was.
$24/day parking per car?! Parking garage is literally dangerous with how small and narrow it is. It's impossible to turn without scratching your car!! Also, bathroom wasn't cleaned and there was sand everywhere.
I did not like the fact that you have rude staff that does not greet you. For the price that you charge I feel it was bogus, you charge for parking but has a sign that says we are not responsible for theft or broken vehicles, you don’t even have a microwave in the rooms we have to go all the way downstairs to your gift shop just to warm up our food, your refrigerator is the most smallest fridge I’ve ever seen especially being in a expensive hotel. Your housekeeping staff kept forgetting to give us our towels, the drawers kept sliding out on it’s own and when I complain they sent maintenance up and all he did was put tape on the drawers to where we could not use it. The light fixture in the pool broke off and was floating in the pool while we were swimming with our kids. This was my first and las time I will ever stay at DoubleTree. Oh and I don’t know why your server is trying to give yourselves an overall 2.5 you need to give me that option because I would rate you all at a 0
It's centrally located to everything.
Our room was not clean, the bathtub was worn out/old, and the whole floor had that weird hotel smell.
