Pros: The best find, the most attention to the finer detail, the staff and team behind were the most friendly ever, just like to say Thanks for having us stay.
Pros: I've stayed here three times and just love it. This is a small L shaped 2 story hotel. It's like a secret spot off the strip. Friends that visit me say, how did you find this place? The room is luxurious and the staff is beyond wonderful. Did I mention free, hassle free parking?
Winner of the Conde Nast Gold List award in 2013, The Pillars Hotel promises a premium experience and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. Guests can indulge in massages or aromatherapy, and The Secret Garden serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms at this luxurious hotel offer up nice touches like bathrobes, designer toiletries, and pillowtop beds with Frette Italian sheets.
Pros: The Queen Suite unit was fresh and clean, and had everything we needed. The living room area was comfortable for evening relaxing, the kitchen had every tool we might have needed, the bathroom was sparkling fresh with luxurious towels and french-milled soap.
The bedroom was cozy with fresh crisp linens and plenty of pillows.
There is plenty of free parking.
If we'd had more time for social relaxing, there is a lovely pool and patio.
Check-in after hours was easy and we'll be back when we have to work in Fort Lauderdale again!
Pros: Location, Bed, Shower, Patio !!!!
Cons: nothing I didn't like.
When you stay at Casitas Coral Ridge, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bonnet House Museum and Gardens and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Also, this inn is 4.6 mi (7.4 km) from Fort Lauderdale Stadium and 4.8 mi (7.7 km) from Stranahan House.
Cons: I'm surprised there wasn't a pay-toilet! Extra for everything.
Pros: Located on beach near Birch Park. Kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc available on beach for guests. Valets, check in folks, & staff in general excellent. Rooms nice with good layout and generally quiet. Maid service okay- did not clean our room one day, even tho gone during mid day for about 3.5 hours- not really a biggie as rooms well supplied except for coffee. Saw young, middle aged, older, and family's with small children- EVERYBODY looked like having a good time.
Cons: Two things- one morning fire alarm system tested for about an hour. Very loud speaker- wonder why cannot check b/t check in/checkout vs mid morning. Maybe fire dept controls and hotel does not have a choice. Other thing is somewhat trivial- hotel has very limited TV channels; missed The Walking Dead:( But wife could watch Oscars on other TV. Having 2 TVs a plus, even tho channel access limited.
Pros: Beautiful ,quaint ,romantic hotel on the beach. Nostalgic luxury. Our new go to vacation Resort!
Cons: Bathroom could use some attention to the grout. Little mold here and there. Overall still an excellent place to stay.
Pros: Our room was spacious and the view was gorgeous! The balcony off our room and on the back of the resort was great. We really enjoyed eating and having a few drinks out there. The resort's beach was very nice and the guys that worked the beach stand were very attentive. All of the staff were very friendly as well. We had a great time!
Cons: The bar closes at 11:30pm, which seemed kind of earlier. We were there at close Saturday night and there was at least 30 people in there still wanting to stay at close.
Pros: I absolutely loves this place. Great location, friendly staff, amazing food. And the beds were xtremely comfortable.
Cons: Parking was a bit expensive. $30/night
Pros: The rooms are a bit dates but beautiful, and the location, staff and amenities more than make up for it!
A premier beachfront location combined with award winning service is awaiting you at our Fort Lauderdale resort. Private balconies with sweeping ocean views, oceanfront dining and pool with a lazy river and private beach provide the perfect sanctuary to escape. A central location to area attractions and businesses makes our location a popular choice for leisure and business travelers alike.
Pros: Clean hotel, close to lots of restraunts in bars. We will be back we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Hair in our food we had order d room service. It we let the hotel know and they refunded us our dinner so they had great customer service.
Pros: Loved that it is right on Las Olas Blvd and that right around the corner is the river walk.
Cons: Staff were very nice I just felt they just didn't go out of their way. I really didn't like having to pay for parking.
Cons: I would go back to the Riverside. But, I would only stay on the EAST side of the building and inspect the room carefully before accepting. Our room was in need of paint and repair. A charge for everything including parking. I still never figured out why there was no access to the mini bar in the room. In a hotel like this, I was expecting MORE.
Riverside Hotel is the only hotel located on Las Olas Boulevard which features sidewalk cafes, lively nightclubs, chic boutiques, art galleries, and world class restaurants. Las Olas Boulevard runs from the center of the Downtown Business District to the Atlantic Ocean and Fort Lauderdale Beach. Four miles away from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport, Broward County Convention Center and Port Everglades, and only 2 miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Pros: Great location near the airport, big room, great for family
Pros: Staff provide a very early check-in
Cons: After we checked in, another couple opened our locked room door as they had also had been assigned to the same room.
Pros: Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a refrigerator and microwave. The free hot breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as oatmeal and make-your-own waffles. There was also yogurt, cold cereal and pastries. A strip mall with several restaurants was a short walk away.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and I was impressed with the complementary breakfast!
Pros: The manager tried REALLY hard to fix issues we had, and was really kind. The continental breakfast had great variety and the breakfast staff was fantastic. The location was convenient. We were able to check in early, and even check out late because of a large flight.
Cons: We were repeatedly disturbed while trying to rest with the "do not disturb" sign up, and once, someone unlocked the room and walked in without knocking at all. The shower drain was clogged and bubbled up filth, but they were very quick to respond and to offer a new room.
Pros: Staff let us check in early. Hot breakfast was convenient.
Cons: When we got back in late that evening, our keys were deactivated and was a bit annoying having to wait in the line of people waiting to check in to get new keys issued.

Cons: No hot water in the shower or sink! Compensation & apology were totally inadequate.
Pros: Nice sized, fairly clean room.
Cons: Staff was all over the place, removed our ac remote control, came into the room and opened windows while we were out, almost towed my car.
Great low cost option. Love that there is a hostel and hotel! Will definitely book there again. Maybe I was just lucky, but they seem to have good rules which prevent the 'party hardy' hostel crowd. We found it quiet and enjoyable. Even though it's on a main road, traffic was not loud.
Pros: Location is PERFECT! Dennis is a sweetie and a great host.
Cons: I wish there had been some daily cleaning - it gets pretty sandy - but the room and facility was very clean, overall.
At The Hotel Deauville, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Bonnet House Museum and Gardens and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. You can splash around at the outdoor pool, grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop/café, or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Other highlights include a terrace and a garden.
Pros: The location was great and the rooms were very nice! The wedding we attended was beautiful.
Cons: I had left a watch by the pool and checked with the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in. They simply said no and sent me on my way. However, when I checked at the pool restaurant, she asked me if the front desk had checked with lost and found. The front desk didn't even bring up lost and found as an option. Luckily, security had received the watch and we were able to get it back.
Pros: Beach front and accessible to anything, nice ocean view from the room, clean hotel and it has everything we need.
Cons: Front desk is horrible specially the person who checked us in. She told me that I will get a text or a phone call when the room is ready but unfortunately no one calls me back not text. I have to call and find out myself to see if our room was ready. Other than that everything was perfect.
Pros: Walking into the resort really felt like home. The staff was friendly and very accomodating and it felt so fancy! I really enjoyed my stay and I always stay at the Hilton when I travel, never disappoints! We had a jetted tub in the room and a view of the beach, the swimming pool overlooked the ocean which was walking distance from the hotel! Our whole experience with the resort was everything we dreamed of. Will definitely return our next trip to Fort Lauderdale!
Pros: It was a great location however service and staff were average. No one really went out of their way to be helpful.
Cons: We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and were not allowed into the room till 3pm. The jacuzzi tub had yellow water coming out of the faucet.
Cons: I had to wait until 6pm to check in
Pros: Great service, staff, food. Great location.
Cons: Hidden fees. Mandatory "resort fee" should be part of up front cost, not an "indicental" learn-about-it-upon-checkout fee.
Wifi painfully slow.
Pros: Location and suite we stayed in
Cons: The valet parking - over priced and under delivered
Pros: Nice pool area, access to beach; good restaurant/bar; close to lots of activities in Ft. Lauderdale
Daily Resort Charge will be added to the room rate and includes: Guest internet access; 2 welcome drinks; 2 daily adult bike rentals for 2 hours; 2 Zephyrhills 16.9oz water daily; 2 beach chairs; 2 daily kids activities; 20% spa discount; 10% gift shop discount; local and toll-free calls. Pros: Location was nice. Housekeeping and the valet were polite.
Cons: Hotel construction was everywhere including the expensive beach front view I payed for. I was treated disrespectfully by the day manager. He lied to kayak about approval for an early checkout refund. We left anyways. The chair in our room was held together with gorilla glue, the a/c and fridge worked intermittently. Overall all of the inconveniences made it for a difficult first trip with our new baby. The hotel refers to itself as luxurious, but customer service and repairs to the inside of the rooms are greatly needed.
Cons: No housekeeping
No available chairs, etc for the beach
Pros: Great location. Comfortable bed and room.
Cons: Dated and worn out furniture and kitchen cabinets.
Pros: Nice large room and decor
Hotel Pool and Lobby are very nice
Restaurants are fun
Cons: Missing remote, room service book, etc. upon arrival and took about 45 min to bring it up.
Food prices on room service menu.
View of construction site with blocked view of ocean on "oceanview room"
Pros: Great location right on the beach. Large, comfortable rooms. The staff allowed me to check in a few hours early since they had a clean room ready. Nightly turn down service with chocolates on my pillow were a nice touch.
Cons: Front desk staff was average. At best. At a hotel of this caliber I expected a lot more courtesy and friendliness. Broken shower. No available chairs at the pool TWO days in a row. No bellhop to carry my luggage. And no apologies when I told them about my underwhelming experience.
Pros: I have stayed at the Atlantic twice and there is literally nothing one could not like about this hotel.
Cons: That my trip was not longer :)
Pros: I know this might sound wired but the shower, hotel showers are usually bad but this one was great! Lots of pressure and never ran out of hot water.
Cons: The king bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
Pros: The service, food and staff were amazing
Cons: Can't think of anything

Cons: Front desk staff was not very nice to accommodate my request. Slow elevator service. Poor wall insulations in room, you can hear outside.
Cons: The parking and check in is inconvenient. Check out time is at 10am! Hotel has NOT updated it's furniture or stuff. Could hear everything from all other rooms. Bath-tub was old and "painted" to cover chips. not what I expected for the price!
Pros: The location
Cons: Checkout is 10am, couldn't get later checkout. No room service and got rushed out by housekeeping on last day. Confusing parking garage. Hard to find entrance for check in. Not staying here again.
Pros: Great location and view. Rooms nice size and clean.
Cons: Staff a little over whelmed by spring break crowd. Would have been nice to be warned about what the hotel was doing to accommodate the young crowd.
Pros: Very nice rooms. Very inviting!
Cons: Location was hard to find. Poor signage to the garage. Inaccurate signage in the parking lot.
Cons: The fact that I got charged twice for this room. After I was charged by priceline for the room, the Marriot also charged me. I thus paid twice for the same room.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was spacious and clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and colorful at night. We were very pleased with our choice and would recommend it to those looking for a clean and reasonably priced family hotel near the beach.
Situated by the ocean, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Gateway Shopping Center, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. Stranahan House is 2.8 mi (4.6 km) away.
Pros: I would say everything was excellent front desk service ,,staff, room cleanliness enough towels excellent house keeping, great restaurant on same building which it was awesome
Cons: Ugh the parking it was 10 dollars which is not that bad
But it's in the same building and parking spots are super tight and not enough due to car rental company has a whole floor
Cons: I checked in on Christmas Day of 2016!!! Staff overcharged my checking and ruined our Christmas Day. Booked through Kayak and prepaid. Checked in at the hotel and account was charged AGAIN. Horrible experience. The manager did give us 10,000 bonus points for the stay--try booking a hotel stay with IHG points. That will not even you get you one night a Holiday Inn. I would recommend paying in CASH!
Pros: The room was fantastic!!! So comfortable and clean and welcoming!
I didn't want to leave!! And I will be back! :)
Pros: Value for the money
Cons: The fact they don't offer a continental breakfast.
Pros: We loved the pool and deck area. So nice and relaxing. The free airport/cruise shuttle was awesome and timely.
Cons: The only negative was that our TV didn't work. They sent a repair man but he couldn't repair it.
Pros: Good size room and really good restaurant/bar
Cons: Very firm bed

Pros: Everything from the service to amenities to the location were excellent for our family with two young children traveling back home from our cruise. The room was immense and clean. The included breakfast was above the standard fare. The ability for us to eat lunch at the hotel was an added bonus.
Pros: Very important that compare to other Hotels, this was top 5 for me! Very Clean, Breakfast was include it and they had everything. Big Rooms, and it was close to anywhere. There was a mall outside that you could get the Trolley all around FTL....
ask for transportation. it's cheaper than a cap
great Hotel, you should go
Cons: If you order room service, you have to go get it yourself.
Cons: Undisclosed additional Parking fee !
Pros: Free airport shuttle, good free breakfast, right next to the cruise port entrance, taxi to pier was only $12 or you can take the hotel shuttle for $7 per person. Faster and cheaper to use a taxi for 2 or more people. Rooms are large and good quality.
Cons: Expensive at some times of the year. Got it for $84 the last week of August but going again in January and the same room is $280!
Pros: Friendly staff. When I locked my keys in my car, they worked successfully to help me retrieve them.
Our spacious guest rooms feature the Hyatt Grand beds, and work center with a 42 inch flat panel HDTV that easily integrates with laptops and other electronic devices, a cozy corner L-shaped sofa-sleeper, wet bar and bathroom vanity upgraded with granite countertops. Enjoy complimentary hotel-wide WiFi and complimentary Gallery Kitchen Breakfast, featuring freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal. A 24-hour Grab & Go food outlet
Pros: I loved the clean, crisp look of the decor and tile flooring. The bathroom and bedding were basic but clean and bright. It was in a prime location and walking distance to many retail and, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We were leaving for a cruise and the port everglades area is just a mile away. For the price it was an excellent place and the staff was friendly, but were a little strict about people smoking by their vehicles on the street. They also had a closed off courtyard/patio around back that had chairs, picnic tables and flowers to relax and enjoy the sunny weather. Definitely recommend.
Cons: Staff were friendly but seemed strict in my opinion to tell someone they cant stand by their own vehicle to smoke.
Just 3.9 mi (6.3 km) from the airport, Oasis Hotel puts you within a 10-minute drive of Stranahan House and Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Other highlights include a garden, and rooms offer plasma TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Great location. Easy to find. Staff were very helpful. Clean and modern. Family friendly.
Cons: Restaurant with basic menu.
Pros: Liked the buffet breakfast!
Cons: Didn't like the hard beds.
Pros: Staff were extremely efficient & pleasant. Location was ideal for my business needs
Pros: the room was clean
Cons: the breakfast was terrible
Pros: Proximity to the beach. Not ocean front but close to beach..short walk. Free breakfast was nice. Good value for the price. Hotel is dated but room was spacious and clean. Staff were pleasant.
Cons: Nothing really. It looks like the hotel is possibly in the process of renovating. The rooms seem to have been updated but hallways and exterior could be updated. The railing on the terrace outside our room was broken; potentially dangerous e.g for families with small children.
Pros: Convenient location to the beach, restaurants and shopping
Cons: Maid service was late afternoon
Pros: Staff was great. Got room with a good view. Cute room. Nice tv.
Cons: Thought I would be able to see the ocean from hotel. Room smelled funky. Balcony isn't private.
Pros: Convenient location to the city beach
Cons: Run down with a lot of paint to look good (2 star to look like a 4 star)
1 elevator for guest and staff ( sometimes a long wait)
When looking at the hotel online ALL the pictures were air brushed.

Cons: The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
Cons: EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Pros: The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store.
Cons: Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
Pros: This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than
most of the hotels on the strip.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better.
Beds were very comfy.
Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel
dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily
They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs
The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and
The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as
We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block
surrounding the hotel.
There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot,
deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven.
There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small
We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore
a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking.
We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person).
Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out
front), cab, Uber, bike rentals.
The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A.
The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all.
Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again.
Cons: The pool was sort of small though.
I would have liked a microwave as well though.
Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
Pros: Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
Pros: The personal are professional and very polite.
Pros: The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great.
Cons: Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great.
Cons: Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
Pros: Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool.
Cons: Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
Pros: Friendly staff,clean,close to beach.
Cons: Nothing negative
Pros: Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again.
Cons: My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
With an ideal location overlooking the golden sands of 7-mile-long Fort Lauderdale Beach, the new Sonesta Fort Lauderdale helps you soak in southern Florida
Pros: Great value for the money on a weekend. Too bad we only stayed one night and didn't get to fully enjoy the amenities.
Cons: "Family friendly" cuts two ways, if you aren't into a lobby full of screaming kids coming from the pool.
Pros: Location was great. Maria at the lobby bar was fantastic.
Cons: The rooms and hallways smelled musky and smokey.
Asked for a champagne bucket and flutes and they never arrived. Toiletries were not replaced everyday.
Called to request a late check out and I was given a very scripted speech and followed by a hang-up.
Went to the pool around 5pm and there were not towels available. Pool bar/ restaurant was nowhere to be seen, even though there were menus laying around.
Pros: Everything about this place was very nice. Beds comfortable clean and spacious room and friendly staff.
Cons: Bed wasn't confutable. Ac wasnt good.
Pros: Very clean great valuee
Pros: One of the easiest check-ins I have ever had.. Friendly staff and beautiful room.
Cons: There was hardly any I disliked regarding my stay... Maybe more premium cable TV channels?
Pros: Nice pool area on a lagoon even if there is no beach. But not necessarily a kid pool. No slide but nice lounge areas. Love that parking is so convenient and no extra cost! Friendly staff with prompt response. Good location off I-95 even though it is in a business-like park area. Large and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Can't say I have anything negative.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and we really enjoyed the pool.
Pros: Good wifi
Cons: Great place near 95. The wifi is good and the staff was friendly.
The king size bed was comfortable. The restaurant was nice but not crowded. The business center needs an upgrade. Overall it was very good!
Pros: The hotel was very nice. Very attractive.
Cons: The staff was extremely rude.
Pros: It was clean and friendly staff
Cons: It was clean and staff was friendly
Pros: Typically we love Westin hotels. This hotel should not be allowed to carry that name.
Cons: The first issue was that the hotel was dirty. Not just our room but all of it. Elevators were slow and old. Lobey was not clean. The pool was nice but the health club was dirty. The hot tub was broken.
The restarunt was way over priced for quality of food.
We were very disappointed.

Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful - my family has allergies to animals and perfumes; the hotel uses scented air fresheners but we were able to find the least scented room and our stay was all good.

Pros: The staff and food quality were excellent. The hotel grounds and facilities spacious and easy. Special kudos to the bar wait staff and bartender... friendly, accommodating, and excellent.
Cons: Noise from the parking lot activity, the outside hallway and from the airport kept me awake all night.
Pros: The staff was awesome, Everyone was very friendly and willing to make our stay memorable. Our balcony was so relaxing after a long flight, we enjoyed looking out at the beautiful garden area.
Cons: This hotel is showing its years and definately needs an overhaul. I'd say skip it.
Cons: Parking was $25
Pros: Comfort, atmosphere.
Staff was friendly, helpful.
Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool)
Cons: Food was not good and not enough a variety.
Laundry facilities not in the building.
Wine was way overpriced.
Pros: Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids.
Cons: Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
Pros: A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever.
Cons: I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
Pros: My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
Pros: The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach
Cons: I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
Cons: Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either

Set upon 22 acres amidst the tropical lushness of Fort Lauderdale across the waterway from Port Everglades. Pros: I liked the rooms, the staff clean it everyday. Customer Service were very pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast must have more variety. Althought is continental breakfast, the should be to have more variety and extend it until 10am at least.
Pros: Friendly and hard-working staff. Guests all seemed happy. Our floor was non-smoking, another floor was pet-friendly.
Cons: Some late-night noise from state road, but not too bad.
Cons: in town on my first vacation and got a room late night online for $85. The room was dingy, sheets on bed were old, cock roaches, Windows had no screens, mold growing on the walls in the bathroom etc.....
Pros: the staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, pretty fountain in front and a nice lobby
Cons: busy street , small pool
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Some of the staff was really nice and helpful when we voiced our concerns.
Cons: I knew there was going to be a problem when as soon as we walked in and the front desk person didn't want to allow us to use the restroom when were initially checking in. Upon receiving the keys to our rooms we get to the our "non-smoking floor" and are overwhelmed with the smell of smoke and what seemed to be a stench of old rotten meat. Upon enter one of the rooms we find that the door knob was held together with TAPE. That's right Tape! We noticed that we didn't haven face towels or hand towels. When we ask for towels we were told that the lady hasn't done the laundry and we couldn't get any. And if that wasn't bad enough, there was an army herd of ants marching in our ceiling make there way through the bathroom like they were marching on Washington. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was so small you can touch all the walls from the toilet. The furniture looked old and stained. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. You have been warned.

Pros: Cocobelle was a last minute single-night booking after our initial hotel turned out to be disgusting. We were thrilled to find ourselves in this simple, tidy, spacious and well scrubbed space. The 'room' was actually a small apartment with discreet kitchenette (full sized fridge), bathroom, bedroom and living area -- bigger than my apartment in NYC. Large flatscreen TV (that we didn't turn on). Furnished simply and inexpensively but with intention (think Target). This would be a perfect extended stay flat for a visiting freelancer. The air conditioner compressor ran loudly and constantly; we ultimately unplugged it to turn it off.
We didn't use the clean-looking pool, or sit at the outdoor courtyard tables. This isn't a place to spend the day lounging and making new friends, but a superior home base a couple blocks from the beach. Young suburban straight couples would feel at home,
Cons: The mattress was springy, and not in a great way.
PS: I wrote this review without scrolling down to see the wide range of ratings. I was surprised to see such low scores between the high ones. This is not a luxury resort but is thoroughly inoffensive and good at being what it is.
Cocobelle Resort puts you just a 5-minute drive from Bonnet House Museum and Gardens and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and scuba diving, snorkeling, and surfing/boogie boarding are nearby. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and free WiFi.
