Great location! Very close to pier 39. Comfortable bed and pillow.
Soundproof was rather poor. I can hear people walking by my room and chatting very clearly.
Great location, decent price for the area.
We paid extra for a king size bed and were put into a double size MURPHY bed! What a joke, we were so uncomfortable all night and the bed sloped downward toward the head of the bed so the blood was rushing to our head while we slept. Worst night of sleep ever and they had overbooked their hotel so they couldn't move us! I will not be staying there again!
Good location.
Short walk to the pier and other attractions. Near grocery store and the game room has family style tables so you can bring food in rather than dine out if you’re with a group.
1. $$ To park 2. Need to step up their maintenance/housekeeping practices 3. Courtyard is a great idea but needs a refresh.
Amazing Location & Decor
This place is perfect!! Close to everything. When I say close I mean across the street from Pier 39. Best hotel in SF!
Decor and location!!!
Hotel was nice. Location good
My car was broken into in their locked parking garage. Got parking garage fee refunded. That was the extent of their apology.
Our Stay at Hotel Zephyr
Our stay at Hotel Zephyr was great! We booked a King Bed w/ balcony room for two nights and had absolutely no complains! Our balcony was waterfront and faced the fisherman's wharf as well as had a direct view of Alcatraz. The room was very clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful as well as provided us with coupons for restaurants and activities. We really enjoyed the location and our entire stay at Hotel Zephyr.
There really weren't hardly any complains about hotel Zephyr minus a few small ammenities. We would've liked to have had a microwave in our room but it wasn't really an inconvenience anyhow. The gym was a little small and could've used some more equipment but again, wasn't a big inconvenience at all.
Great location, very cool theme throughout the hotel, lots of things to do in the hotel.
Staff was hit or miss. Although the valets were very friendly, they weren't readily available.
Great hotel on the Embarcadero
Location, location, location. Clean, friendly staff, cool fire pit area. Hot Spud right around the corner.
Unknowingly, we asked for a view room. We got a great room with swell views of the bay, piers, etc. However, that meant we were just across from the VERY loud street performers. And the idiots flooring their cars at 1 a.m. with modified mufflers. I suggest certainly staying at this hotel, but ask for an inside room.
Very nice place for tourist visit. Room was a little small. Great location. Great lobby area. Wonderful outside area to relax after hours. Very hippyish place
Rooms were a little small. No coffee service in lobby and would have liked a breakfast bar.
The only good thing about my stay at Hotel Zephyr was: - The pillows and bed was super comfortable. - Smart TV
- The room was not clean - Bathroom was not clean - Appliances were old and paint was coming out of them.
Disappointed
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The game room was cool, but I didn't have time to enjoy it. The atmosphere was fun.
I wish I didn't upgrade my room. Not sure what my original room would have been like, but the only thing I liked about the room I upgraded to was seeing the bay. But there was black hair on the bathroom hair which I assume was from the maids or people who stayed before me. There were two things left behind from the people before, so it made me question how clean the room really was. I didn't sleep well because of where the room was located. I could hear the outside door to the stairwell open and slam shut. A group of people tried getting into my room because the front desk gave them the wrong room number. Overall I was disappointed and if I knew it would have been this way I could have saved myself some money.
Great Family Hotel At Fisherman's Wharf
The atmosphere, the games, and the patio with lots of seating, fire pits and plantings were awesome! The staff was friendly and the concierge was very helpful.
The food choices at the hotel. The camper is touted as having food that is locally sourced and fresh, but when we looked at the menu, the only choices were personal pizzas and one soup. We got the pizzas and we're not impressed.
Hotel Zephyr is conveniently located in the Fisherman’s Wharf district on San Francisco Bay. It’s a close three-minute walk to Pier 41, and it’s only five short miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Given its location, it is fitting that the hotel features a nautical theme throughout the property.
The rooms are well-lit and airy, giving guests the sense of freedom they would feel if they were on a seafaring ship. There are minifridges, coffee makers and smart TVs to round out the experience. Some of the rooms feature balconies on which guests can relax, enjoy the free Wi-Fi and the amazing scenery. The bay lies below, as does the wharf. There are also suites with both one and two bedrooms and these have windows and sitting areas that go from the floor to the ceiling, creating a sense of size that is at once larger than life and comforting.
The hotel has a gym so guests can keep in shape during their stay. When it’s time to just hang out, the hotel’s lounge is the spot. It features contemporary design elements. Guests can head there for a game of pool or they can slip outside to the terrace and enjoy the fire pits and sculptures that decorate the area.
For eats, the Fire and Brew Restaurant offers good food for a variety of palates, and there is a business center as well.
Hotel Zephyr is a nice place to both relax and remain productive while enjoying the amenities.
