Okay 4.5
Cons: I asked for a quiet room I was given rn 210 it is not a quite room. It is on the far end near the road and had so much road noise I had them change my room. For being such a new property the room was not well kept by housekeeping. The bathroom floor was not clean and the walls had mold on them. Overall just an okay property
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beds were very comfortable. I love there are USB plugs and regular electrical plugs everywhere and assessable. The facility is new and well kept.
Cons: I was surprised that breakfast was not included.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Its a Hilton
Cons: Breakfast was difficult. Most Hilton properties offer the buffet and made to order eggs that guests can just order. At this location we are supposed to get our 'other breakfast items' (e.g. bacon, potatoes, sausage, etc.) and then let the table server order the omlette/eggs. This results in either the other items being cold by the time the order arrives, or having to eat the other things while waiting for the entree instead of being able to eat everything together. I'm sure it's offered as a 'service' for people not to have to order their items but sometimes, and I think this is one of those times, less is more. Keep it simple, keep it consistent with other Hilton properties and let guest enjoy the comfort of knowing what to expect no matter what hotel they choose to stay at.

Excellent 9.1
Pros: Location, clean, workout room, staff very helpful
Cons: The only thing I’d suggest is breakfast included.
Mediocre 3.7
Cons: Free breakfast wasn’t free, and it was late, warm at best, and tasted awful. Surprise charge of $10 to park overnight in an empty lot.

Excellent 9.4
Pros: Location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stayed a night on the 4th of July weekend. From check-in to check-out everything was smooth. Clean exteriors and interior, great location (close to the beach and also a few pharmacies and restaurants within half a mile), beautiful landscaping inside the courtyard, pool area was also clean and well-maintained. There were a lot of guests that weekend but i didn't feel overwhelmed or crowded at all. The breakfast served in the morning varied from breakfast cereal and english muffins to egg omelette and BACON! Yummy. My family and I had a great time there and would gladly go back.
Cons: The room felt a little bit crowded.
Good 6.2
Pros: I love the gardens around the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast ended too early for a holiday. Maintenance staff would not give pool towel because it was 10 minutes before hot tub was closing. I felt like a child be reprimanded by a parent. For $279.00 a night, I expected a little more.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean Hotel, Courteous Staff, Good Water Pressure, Pool, Non Smoking, Great Continental Breakfast, Ample Mirrors, Clean Full Bath, Great Bed and Dresser. TV came with DVD Player, too.
Cons: We needed assistance to operate the Cable TV. The Vanity mirror was loose.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were very kind and accommodated my special request. Would definitely stay there again!!
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Rooms have been nicely upgraded and appointed.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Comfortable hotel, great staff.
Cons: Sheets and towels as well as water in breakfast area were heavy on chlorine.

Excellent 9.7
Pros: Everything about the hotel and location.
Cons: Having to change rooms twice, the first time because the toilet didn't flush and the second time because we were awakened by the staff moving umbrellas to the pool on noisy dollies right outside our room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, spa was amazing, felt safe with masks and social distancing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beach adjacent location, beautiful grounds, nice restaurants, bar, lobby and gym.
Cons: Pools disheveled, understaffed and poor seating management. Day to day food options at restaurant(s) a bad value and created dissatisfaction immediately.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff was amazing.
Cons: Pricing was pretty high
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Edgar at the poolside cabanas was incredible. He made us feel so welcome and made our day we spent with our niece we were visiting who goes to UCSB. Thank you!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Gorgeous facilities
Cons: Everything was very expensive.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Such a great luxurious get away that's only few hours away from SanFrancisco. Staff was so friendly and super helpful. Anything you could ask for, they would provide.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff who were on it to help you at any turn. Beautiful room, gorgeous pools, lovely setting.
Cons: Deck of pool should be scrubbed down at night ( lots of food waste, ketchup, etc left from previous days) and hot tubs could use a drain and scub/beach situation, a bit smelly.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: We liked the design and style comfort and the coziness of the place, before our trip I read some of the reviews that people said thier room wasn't clean me as a picky person when it comes to the hotel room,I was so surprised honestly it was very clean ,it's a good relaxing place.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Professional, friendly & accomidating
Cons: Wished there were self-park options
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rainy weekend. Cozy room. Weather forced us to stay onsite and take full advantage of the beautiful grounds and great amenities. Loved it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: A few things: Customer service follow through Attention to food specifications Continually asking for items We have stayed here many times prior to the change over to the Ritz. This is the first time I’ve ever felt to leave a bad review. Not really worth my money spent. Bummed.

Excellent 9.1
Pros: Friendly and helpful front desk guys
Cons: Old big chair in the room
Excellent 8.2
Pros: I liked that it wasn't far from activities, but far enough to relax. I was surprised with how quite it was, with how close to State Street we were. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean, the building its self is older, however, they seem to have kept up on it very well.
Cons: When checking in, I was told the Internet info was provided on the room card and it was not, but that was a quick fix by just calling the office. They didn't have pool towels ready, but a staff brought them to us when they were dry. Everything I read said the pools were heated, but only one out of two pools were heated. The parking was alittle tight, I have a big truck, but it worked out. Nothing was bad enough to to not come back again. We will definitely stay here again. (:
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Only positive was the location and the proximity to Starbucks in the morning.
Cons: Outdated furnishings that reminded me of the 1970s. Awkward layout of hotel so you can here everyone coming and going. Nothing upscale or even nice about the hotel and the $280 nightly rate is a joke. Hotel is in par with a motel 6.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: It was quiet
Okay 5.7
Pros: For a one night stay it was good
Cons: Facilities are very old, any time someone closed a door the whole building shook. My son was worried when he could hear the neighbors showering.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Clean facility
Cons: Noisy employees ,room up against storage room.tight parking
Good 6.5
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: Needs to be modernized.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Quaint and private.
Cons: Not close to downtown
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Rooms had Bottled water and fruit and bathroom toiletries were nice
Good 6.0
Pros: The maids were so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Did their utmost to make our stay comfortable.
Cons: Even though we told the front desk when we arrived that we belonged to their Rewards program and were staying for three nights, they put us at the far end of the building where the workers had rooms. They woke up early, made lots of noise loading their trucks and same was true when they returned in the evening. The grounds looked overgrown and dirty. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Next time we will stay at Best Western on Calle Real in Goleta. Much nicer.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: adorable hotel friendly staff
Cons: housekeeping was ok found previous tenants things
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very comfortable and clean rooms, very useful facilities like laundry for guests and coffee in the reception area, kind staff very helpful. Beautiful outside features.
Good 7.0
Pros: The room is very spacious and comfortable. The bed was great. The complimentary fruits in the room were a very nice touch.
Good 7.3
Pros: The position of the hotel was perfect for shopping and the waterfront area it was also easy to find for the first time and the complimentary coffees available in reception was excellent.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very clean property with friendly staff and two great pools for the kids.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Nice relaxing hotel.
Cons: Not very close to the town and beach, you will need to drive.
Good 7.0
Pros: I liked the exercise room, the room was clean and had a beautiful view of the pool and mountains

Excellent 10.0
Pros: One of the cleanest hotels that we've stayed in while visiting Goleta.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Cleanliness and amenities
Cons: Clean hotel , kind front office
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was super nice, the breakfast was the best of a lot of hotel stays I've had. Super convenient to UCSB. Clean, well kept. Parking was easy enough. And although my car battery didn't die another guests did and anot employee helped her jump her car which was really sweet. Quiet and great beds super comfortable and welcoming all around
Cons: Pool was closed but that's minor I suppose. The price was outlandish though. But it was better than sleeping on a crowded floor.
Good 7.4
Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful. Two bottles of water and daily breakfast are included. Free parking is free. The rooms are clean.
Cons: Walls seem thin -- I could hear TV and voices from the next room. The windows don't have blackout curtains.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The rooms were very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good
Cons: The ice maker on both the 1st and 2nd floor were broken the entire weekend. You had to go up to the 3rd floor to get ice. Not terrible just inconvenient

Good 7.7
Pros: The room was decent and clean for the most part. There was a crunched up sock in the curtain, which was weird but we didn't mind it. Overall, the property was quiet, and we had a good night's sleep. Honestly, we spent very minimal time at the hotel itself.
Good 7.0
Pros: Continental breakfast! Pool and Jacuzzi =)
Cons: They did not have rooms ready. Waited 2 hours for our room to be ready! Frustrating!
Excellent 8.2
Cons: Price
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Love the location - near Vons, In-N-Out ,and close to the freeway. The pool and spa are great and the grounds are very relaxing. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy.
Cons: This was the second time i stayed here. I really dislike the A/C in the rooms. they do not work right. It shuts off when it wants and goes on periodically. This NEEDS to be updated soon. I would definitely choose a room downstairs and facing the pond and pool.
Okay 4.3
Pros: the beds were comfortable
Cons: Their key system broke down and we were unable to get into our room for over an hour. Concerning and a inconvenience to end the night after a wedding.
Okay 5.1
Pros: The staff provided good customer service.
Cons: Throughout the facility, it was evident that the facility is in desperate need of a major remodel. There was a constant musky smell in the facility. Fixtures were outdated.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Hotel was good...clean, comfortable, convenient, but it was the staff that inspired me to give the excellent rating. They were the best I've ever encountered at a hotel. Gave good suggestions for dining and just very friendly and helpful with any request.
Okay 5.1
Cons: Purchased this room on Hotwire to find it was $30 cheaper if I had called the hotel directly. Handicapped accommodations so that there was very little shelf space in the bathroom. Towel racks were grab bars next to the toilet. No place to sit except desk or bed. Used q-tips on floor. Second time that we stayed there but very disappointed this visit. Brunch was so crowded that you couldn't sit down and the staff couldn't keep things stocked.

Excellent 9.4
Pros: BED
Cons: THE BREAKFAST
Good 7.4
Pros: Everything was fine. No complaints -- but nothing was special about this place. We arrived late and left early so we were just looking for a place to sleep. The rooms were convenient, clean and comfortable. this was one of the few places in its price range that had a pool, free breakfast and Queen (as opposed to double) beds.
Cons: $200 a night for what was basically a Motel 6 seemed pricey to me -- even for Santa Barbara. The breakfast was a little skimpy: I would have like bacon or sausage to accompany the scrambled eggs and typically a Danish or sweet roll is included. The conveyor machine wasn't working so the entire breakfast room had to wait to use the toaster.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and nice staff. The breakfast was good, not just rolls and coffee. It was the same all 3 mornings and it would be nice to have had different choices.
Cons: I called to check on my reservation and they said they could not find one. When I arrived, they still were not able to find it, even with my confirmation number. They did get a room for us and it was an upgrade since they did not have the room I reserved. It did cost a little more.
Good 6.0
Pros: Room was cozy and coffee kuerig machine. Decent breakfast.
Cons: Walls are thin and our neighboring guests were very loud till middle of the night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was the second time we have stayed at the Sandpiper. It is clean, convent to venues in the area and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if we were in the area.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Bed was fine. Breakfast was fine. Breakfast consisted of heated cheese omelettes folded into the shape of tacos. They also offered slices of bread, bagels, croissants and English muffins. They had conventional pull down toasters and conveyor belt toasters. They also had small refrigerated yoplait yogurt containers as well along with fresh apples and bananas. The room had Cox cable TV. Had a pretty standard selection of channels not a whole lot but it included local news, each meal and some of the standard basic cable channels like ESPN. service was good too
Cons: The Wi-Fi was slow at times because the wildfires that were happening, which knocked out some of the communication lines at times. Is a newer generation of people start using hotels, cable TV should start being a lemonade it since it is a waste of money it makes you watch ads. It would be better for all hotels including sandpiper lodge to invest in faster Wi-Fi and ethernet instead.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Clean, practical, comfortable.
Okay 5.1
Pros: The breakfast in the morning was great.
Cons: This is not a 3 star hotel. I would say it's 2. It was really loud. Bedding was not soft. Old facilities.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Older but nice room. Comfy bed. Huge shower. Easy access to yummy restaurants. Other travelers there very nice and international. Loved the continental breakfast that was included with our stay. The cheese omelets so yummy on the croissants, made it more than the usual continental and really hit the spot. Checking in and out quick, easy and very efficient, friendly.
Cons: Carpets a little worn out. Smoke alarm battery decided to chirp in the middle of the night. Needed replacing. TV wasn’t working when we 1st got there but was fixed in no time.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Not much
Cons: Floors had stains all over. Furniture was shabby. And the smell was horrible.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location. Front desk staff was very helpful!
Cons: WiFi signal was spotty in our room.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Very nice staff and nice room
Cons: Shower leaves a little to improve.
Good 6.3
Pros: staff were very friendly, breakfast was basic but good. room was big and comfy. very suitable for our needs. shopping very good in santa barbara!
Cons: would definitely need a car, its not walkable to the city centre itself
Good 6.7
Pros: Roominess, cleanliness, service
Cons: Breakfast could be richer
Good 7.3
Pros: We got a little apartment and not only a room. It was awesome!
Good 6.0
Pros: Good value for money ie overnight stop
Cons: Downtown Santa Barbara/ Beach too far from Hotel.Hotel next to busy main road junction
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The rooms are ok, breakfast had nice fresh bakery products.
Cons: Very noisy! We were almost kicked out of our room because of some maintanance issues, and the reception employee had no idea of what was going on. We didn't receive any explanation, anything. It was our departure day, but still was not planning to wake up in that way. Also, you need a car to get downtown, is very far away from anything interesting.
Okay 4.7
Pros: Proximity to bus stop for bus going to downtown Santa Barbara. Proximity to certain markets and restaurants.
Cons: People in the parking lot making noise every night; staff should do something about this without tenants having to complain
Okay 5.6
Pros: Nice, big and clean room - heated swimming pool - fitness looked nice but unfortunately no time to enjoy it !
Cons: A little bit far from the center - Our room was great but unfortunately dark because of the stairs just in front of our window - Breakfast was too basic
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: To pay $150 for a night at a budget hotel that had rust around the windows and needed calking in the bathtub was the last thing i expected based on your reviews. The beds were not comfortable (contrary to your reviews), and the pillows were as thin as paper. It was as if we were staying at truly budget hotel - which is not the rate we were paying.
Good 6.0
Pros: The Sandpiper was a perfect location for us: close to the Earl Warren Showgrounds, also we were within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store, so we made good use of the room's kitchenette.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7.6
Pros: The beds were absolutely amazingly comfortable. One of the most comfortable beds I have had at a hotel. The room was very clean which is most important to me.
Cons: To far from downtown and beach. I did know it wasn't close when I booked it.

Mediocre 3.4
Pros: The restaurant had a solid chestnut soup.
Cons: From other's reviews, this seems to have been a decent hotel at some point in time. It no longer is. Insects in the room, dusty, dirty bathroom, etc.
Okay 4.0
Pros: location was decent
Cons: 346 for a motel?
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Loved the decor and design of the rooms. The staff was also quite friendly.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Staff was great and restaurant had great food.
Cons: Hair in sink opon arrival, killed 2 spiders in room, 1 on floor, 1 on ceiling, beds were uncomfortable, bad shower head effected water pressure, bad weathstripping on door created breeze through crack, watered down coffee. Not typical of the quality I'm used to with Kimpton properties. Seems they bought motel and gave it a boutique look, but failed to go the extra mile to make it great, the reason I choose over other hotels was great past experiences with Kimpton. This one failed to live up to my expectations and was pricey for what we received.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Love the vibe and decoration
Cons: did not like the noise level
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The record player in the room was awesome.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel, has a very comfortable and relaxed feel about it. They have a great attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the furnishings to the complimentary toiletries. The record player in the room, was also a great touch.
Cons: We was also given a free room upgrade too, as we was staying there as part of our honeymoon, which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent customer service in all aspects of the hotel. Checkin was awesome. Service at the restaurant and bar was great. It's a decent value in the Santa Barbara area. I've never been to a Kimpton prior but from my friends descriptions of other Kimptons this one is their budget friendly version where there's still a lot of style for the money though.
Cons: It feels like a re-vamped 70's hotel that it is. I wish they had spent a little more money on replacing the door and window to something more sound proof and secure. You can see the outside between the door and the doorframe. For some reason you have to pull up on the door handle to open the door which made us think that the door was malfunctioning when it would open the normal way. For a new remodel there seems to be a bit more wear and tear than expected but maybe that's part of the 70's modern industrial design. The restaurant manager was berating his employees in front of the customers, which was really sad as the employees were super nice and helpful.
Good 6.5
Pros: The staff was great and very responsive. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet.
Cons: I paid for the entire stay in advance so I wasn't very happy when i got a bill roughly equal to 15-20% at the end for some type of facilities fee. It was outrageous. This is a very basic hotel and the idea of a resort fee is ludicrous. I do not feel that it was clearly disclosed. Also, the heaters were very old and weird.
Good 7.7
Pros: I liked the style of the hotel, sorta a funky vintage modern. I appreciated the record player abd Beach Boys vinyl in the room. The large shower was also welcome.
Cons: Room was really quite small with no desk. This wasnt a working trip, so not a big deal. Also the cool armchair in my room had ropes across the armrests, which were really uncomfortable.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Hotel was quirky & fun!
Cons: Doors to room were not sealed all the way-you could see light coming in from gaps
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Loved the in room entertainment - a turntable with an album collection library - happy hour a bonus pool towels gym all adequate staff super freindly and helpful...eager to meet needs..service at its best...accompdations perfectly adequate - basic if you need a true description - but all you need in a beach town...

Excellent 10.0
Cons: Friendly staff, clean room, great place!
Okay 4.2
Cons: For the price I paid that was terrible. everything was minimal. The breakfast was unhealthy.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Price was relatively cheap for the area.
Cons: Room was old, worn, and didn't look very clean. The worst part was the bed, with nothing but a extremely thin, non-thermal blanket to provide warmth. We were freezing the first night. The second night, we left the heater on but that woke us up every thirty minutes with it roared into action. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Spend a bit more for a room that you can actually sleep in.
Okay 4.0
Pros: It was close to the airport.
Cons: Located on very busy, noisy intersection. Old building, small cramped room, small bed with poor mattress, very few electrical outlets to charge cell phone, watch, and computer. Had to unplug some lamps.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Price
Cons: Layout
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean room. Good location.
Cons: AC unit in the room is too loud.

Cons: Quite noisey
Good 6.0

Good 7.3
Pros: It's was close enough to the ucsb campus so we could visit with our son and that was the primary purpose of our trip.
Okay 5.6
Pros: close to mall; good location; swimmingpool; claen
Cons: expensive for such a simple hotel. But all hotels and motels are expensive in Santa Barbara, so this was the best choice for us.Breakfast was simpel, but that's what most motels are serving....simple breakfast (and awfull coffee!!!)
Mediocre 2.6
Pros: Dropped my friend off at ucsb and helped him move so I needed a place to stay
Cons: The smell was horrible. It was a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke! The shower was ridiculously small. For $150 it was definitely not worth it.
Okay 5.2
Pros: Close to the airport (2 min. drive)
Cons: Very small room. Older fixtures. Chipped, cracked bathroom flooring and lower walls. Needed paint job. Felt like a "tired" facility overdue for update. Very poor value for the money spent.

Mediocre 2.2
Pros: not anything
Cons: small dirty rooms. noise. would NEVER stay again
Okay 4.8
Pros: Cheapest in the area. Walking distance to plenty of places to eat or buy amenities.
Cons: Mattress was a rock, bed sheets were sandpaper. We could easily hear the TV next door and every single person that walked by outside the room. No separation between toilet and rest of bathroom (sink and mirror). Wifi cost extra.
Good 7.7
Pros: Clean and simple
Cons: Very little toiletries no shampoo
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The picture is COMPLETELY accurate, the room looks exactly as shown. There is an additional 3 seat table under the TV which both beds face. You can't hear the neighbors or the noise from the street. The AC is not loud enough to disturb sleep like I have experienced before in other hotels. The non-carpeted floors is a good thing to note in case you were expecting to throw down a blanket and pillow for someone who didn't want to share a bed. Free coffee in the morning and a pool, it was the perfect spot for what we needed!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean and predictable, which is GOOD! You can count on Motel 6 to be the same generally everywhere.
Cons: Don't like paying for wi-fi. That's silly in this day and time.
Good 7.6
Pros: Price Staff flexibility to give us a different room even though I accidentally only booked one bed but obviously a family cannot sleep in one queen size bed. Even though they were completely booked they made it happen.
Cons: met all my expectations for a Motel 6
Okay 4.0
Cons: No shower mat, no shampoo, no free internet, price was ridiculous for one night during UCSB graduation. Front desk staff was nice, but price was tripled!
Okay 5.4
Pros: Walking distance to restaurants and necessities
Cons: Poor bed, small space, no hair dryer, one mirror, stayed in two different rooms and one had lousy TV and bad wifi connection, too loud to hear traffic at 2-4 am, not enough pillows on bed. Room was very clean so tolerated inconveniences
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Gentlemen behind the desk was very courteous and helpful

Pros: It's cheap and functional
Cons: It's old and shoddy. Lack any real comfort.
Mediocre 2.6
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Noisy, Smokey smelling , the sink was revolting
Okay 5.1
Cons: My reservation was for a non smoking room. They only had a smoking room for the price I had paid and wanted more money for a non smoking room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well the fact you have in-n-out across the street is a bonus. Overall the stay was great, grab and go breakfast was tasty.
Cons: The only issue was the shower. After a few minutes the shower made an usual sound and the the hot water seemed as if it was running out.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cute room, large room---the king room is awesome! Large bathroom! Very spacious and nice. You'd pay the same at Motel 6---you might as well get something better for your money.
Good 7.4
Pros: The cost was the motive for going with Rose Garden Inn. I liked the huge comfortable bed and lots of storage. There is a fridge, stove and microwave in the room. We’re definitely going to remember that if we come back here again.
Cons: The power on the right side lamp kept going out. The water pressure for the hot water was very low to the point that the plumbing would shudder if you turned it on too fast. I heard that shuddering metallic noise several times in the morning as the other guests started their day. They light bulbs were also not matched. Some were daylight white while others were soft white. The two on either side of the bed were different colors so it was really obvious.
Good 6.0
Pros: As an alumni I was looking for a place to stay that was between IV and Downtown. This place proved to be exactly in the center. It has an iron and ironing board. The shower was clean and had hot water. Had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Has Cable and HBO If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay just to eat and shower this is it. I wouldn't look for anything more than that.
Cons: I would consider this place a 2.5 star motel. The room was small - the King size bed took up most of the space. The sheets were clean but stained. The bed was hard and not very comfortable. I'm normally a deep sleeper but I woke up every few hours. The sink water smelled like sulfur. The TV was very small. The parking lot can fill up very quickly and its sometimes difficult to get of your parking spot.
Good 6.8
Pros: Close to downtown sb (2-3 miles) for really good price
Cons: Not clean, i saw bugs and there was a spider falling on my bed out of the blue.
Mediocre 3.3
Cons: The sheets were dirty.
Good 6.3
Pros: staffs there r super nice
Okay 5.7
Pros: Hotel staff was very nice.
Cons: I had bug bite around my neck and leg and cups are not clean at all.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Terrible smell all over the hotel. Could not even take a shower!!!!
Good 6.7
Pros: good location, clean
Cons: no coffee in the hotel supplied coffee maker
Okay 5.4
Pros: It was quiet and centrally located. Basic accommodation at a reasonable price (for Santa Barbara).
Cons: There was a disagreeable odor in the room - like body sweat. Could have used a hook on the bathroom door for clothes etc
Okay 4.0
Pros: The room was clean and had an microwave and a fridge. Free parking area.
Cons: The price was to expensive for our room. 5 min drive by car to the shopping area and sea-side. Our room had a bad smelling.
Good 6.0
Pros: High service quality. Staff and management are friendly, competent and caring. Good Room standard. Cleaning seems perfect. Seen as tourist, we give this motel a high ranking. For us non-urban people, Santa Barbara makes a perfect stay for a couple of days of recreation, coast-line and scenic expieriences.
Cons: There is a broard balcony at first floor. An arrangement of a small plastic table + 2 chairs to be place in front of some og the apartments - Good quality and a type, which can be stacked. To booking.com: At point 4 - question 3: A category "Couple - mid age" is missing. As I saw the typical visitor, many were, as we, in between young and elderly.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: Blankets really dirty and smelly, no swimming pool, way too expensive for what it is.
Okay 4.0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: The room nearby the road is noisy, I couldn't sleep all night. Usually I am a very heavy sleeper. The room was very small and the furniture was too big so I couldn't even relax.
