Pros (+) Breakfast and evening reception were great. Staff was pretty friendly.
Cons (-) Night staff didn't want to make change for me. The room was just a single room, not a 2-room suite like every other Embassy Suites I've visited. Ran out of towels at pool.

Cons (-) The staff really needs to monitor the noise level of the kids staying at the hotel while attending sports tournaments. I had to call the front desk EVERY night due to kids yelling in the halls after 10 PM!

Cons (-) From the moment you enter the lobby, the blast of painted-over, allegedly-renovated cigarette-saturated waft almost knocks you off your feet. Even the "renovated" rooms feature popcorn ceilings and the stench is unbearable. Guess they should have burned it to the down and started over. I will ever stay in an Embassy Suites again.

Pros (+) At least once a year, our girls will have a dance competition/convention down the road at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We always choose to stay here instead of the hotels that are a bit closer. It's quieter, roomier, and besides, it only takes 5 minutes to drive to the convention center. Pros (+) Location and all the amenities was great! Our room was wonderful. Got a bit concerned about noise because our room was close to the elevator and vending machines, but we hardly heard any noise. Tony at the front desk was very helpful and gave great customer service. Thank you Tony!
