The new Signature Suites are well designed and the overall room and check in experience really ensures that the lodging space is geared towards adults only (without kids). Pros (+) Amazing pool, great room, wonderful breakfast. Liked being walking distance from the mall, although you did have to go outside in the heat for a minute or two to get to the air-conditioned walkway.

Pros (+) Customer service is very good. Travelled during Ramadan so lots of attractions were not busy but also meant some eatery stores were not open at the Dubai Resort Park. Getting around using the free shuttle bus into main Dubai area was convenient but a first come first serve basis. Spent extra paying for taxis were prices were reasonable. Pools onsite were perfect for all ages. Beach was OK a step u...
Cons (-) Onsite eateries could be bigger but the Main Manava had the range of foods for most pallets but children may struggle with options as they are Limited. Could do with a phonebook in the rooms of certain amenities but calling reception was easy to be redirected.

Pros (+) Looked and felt very upscale. Very polite and professional staff. We were in Dubai for our 25th wedding anniversary and the staff made it more special.
Cons (-) Street signs leading to hotel entrance were a little confusing.

Pros (+) Location was good. JBR feels like a holiday resort after a long day of meetings.
Cons (-) It does not live up to the sofitel name. It could be just any hotel in ME with poor management and staff if you removed the brand. So dont fall for the name.
