We stayed in a renovated room, which was excellent as it was all new and clean. Bedding was very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. It is very good for a three star hotel in this price range. The location is close to the airport and the shuttle is very convenient. However, there’s nothing nearby to the hotel and you’ll have to catch a taxi wherever you want to go. Pros (+) Great transport links being next to Metro and Bus station. Good sized room. Location being adjacent to shopping mall for wide variety of food options. Being away from the "Benidorm" type atmosphere of Jumeirah Beach Resort area where everyone is British or European. Good value for Dubai.
Cons (-) Metro station being closed for repair work, but this is only temporary and outside control of hotel. The replacement bus service was very frequent though.

Pros (+) Staff was great
Cons (-) Bed was as hard as a rock, had two pillows that were paper thin. Tv volume is set not to exceed 30%, so couldn't hear clearly, shower was dirty with mold, shower water controls were broken and replaced with a cheap makeshift handle.
