Cons: The breakfast
Pros: Friendliness oaf staff and honesty.
lots of room for improvement
Pros: waffle maker in the breakfast room
Cons: Starting with bad and going to worse: L rooms hard to find - you'll have to walk a long way and then take an elevator down to LL) and it wasn't just me, a couple of girls were wandering and couldn't find their L room either. The hall smelled of paint a little and baseboards in the hallway were missing, so maybe the signs that should be there are down during renovation. But I can't think why there was a quarter roll of toilet paper and no extra, not enough towels and the ones that were there did not look freshly cleaned. The shower curtain had mold on it and worse, when I opened the lid on the coffee pot, there was water inside and piles of mold floating in there. The breakfast room only offers Styrofoam cups - very dangerous - but the guy at the desk was able to give me a cardboard cup like they put in the rooms. I find it hard to believe they were so booked they could not offer me a closer room when I asked especially seeing that the parking lot wasn't very full, nor was the breakfast room.
In need of renovation
Pros: The staff was really nice
Cons: The hotel just looks old and run down on the inside. Breakfast sucks. We we weren't able to control the air in our room we turned it all the way down and it was still warm
Pros: The staff was amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, eager to help or assist in any way. The bed was comfortable and the room cleaned well daily.
Cons: The carpet was disgusting, the towels were thread bare and the couch in the room was so filthy I would not sit on it without a hazmat suit. The back entrance door lock closest to my room was broken and could not be secured.
Pros: Really nice staff and really good value for the money
Cons: A little too far from downtown
Did the job
Pros: All the basic's covered
Cons: Smelled funky. Really dry room. Hair on sheets.
Surprise
Pros: Normally you don't find a Days Inn at this level. It must have been a converted Marriott at some point. Clean, comfortable, spacious and good experience.
Cons: Smoking floor. Should be all non smoking,
