Pros:The vehicle was comfortable.Cons:Waited in line for an hour. Only one person working behind the counter until 15 min before my turn. I did not ask for a giant Dodge Ram truck. I signed up for an economy size car. Was told I had the Managers Special. BS. Parking lot very poorly marked it was difficult to get to where the vehicle was, it was too far. Signage unclear as to where to leave the vehicle.Reviewed 27 Apr 2021

Cons:I had to wait an hour for a car to be available. Then it was a huge car when I had reserved a small one. Gas price was double what I would have paid. No attendant at the return with only a very small sign to tell you where to go with keys.Reviewed 2 Apr 2021

Pros:The reservation was there. The drop off after-hours was simple.Cons:The vehicle I reserved was not available and I was given a much larger vehicle (pick-up truck). I waited in line for 30 minutes with only two people in front of me. It took the representative 10-15 minutes per customer. I was not able to do submit the walk-around information because the agent did not answer the phone.Reviewed 28 Feb 2021

Pros:I really enjoy using Priceline, but certainly hope I NEVER have to use Thrifty again. Had to wait in line for over an hour waiting to return the keys. Had to wait an hour to pick up the car the previous day.Cons:There needs to be faster service at the check in and check out at the Charleston Airport location. There was one person behind the counter with about 10 guest in line. No other car rental dealer had that many and they did not take that long to process the customer. Need to have more employees and a faster process especially when the customer has a reservation already. The employer behind the desk was working as fast as she could but she needed help!Reviewed 14 Feb 2021

Pros:Nothing- terrible experience, did not have car even though we made a reservation.Cons:Made the reservation 3 weeks in advance, showed up and they told us they did not have the van in stock. Almost derailed our entire family trip. Customer service did not really even try to help or make it better, did not offer any solutions. We ended up having to cancel our reservation and paid an extra $150 to book a past minute car with Avis, luckily they had a van in stock. Terrible experience, will not use Thrifty again.Reviewed 4 Jan 2021

Pros:Vehicle seemed new.Cons:We paid extra to reserve a mini van for 6 people with Bags. Thrifty said they only have a pickup truck. It was VERY UNSAFE.Reviewed 29 Nov 2020

My rental was awfulPros:Not muchCons:It took them about 20 minutes to pick me up at the airport. I stood in line an hour at the rental agency. There were maybe four in front of me. Every other rental company, you show up, give them your id and credit card, they give you the key and you are out in about two minutes. Oh no, not Thrifty/Dollar. My wife is not a patient person, and walked in while I was waiting and I told her it was a little slow. Counter lady gets mad at me for accusing her of being slow, said she was training the person. The car was supposed to be a Toyota Corolla and it was a Hyundai Accent, a step or two lower. Counter lady told me the owner was cheap. The low tire light came on and I called their road repair number, and they told me to recalibrate the tires. On a rental car! The person who took the car back told me it was the cold weather that did it. Overall,kind of a pain to rent this lousy car from a lousy company.Reviewed 29 Nov 2018
