We love the old CN hotels! And the bath toiletries are great and the whole staff are always so nice!
Pool is a little small.. but not much to do in this grand old hotel
Location is great for shopping Bed was comfortable
Asked for a tea cup and saucer and was given a mug- not good for a hotel that prides itself on tradition (80 years since being visited by British Royalty) The tea and coffee facilities were not replenished and not enough coffee supplied. Also, there was only one mug and one teaspoon. The shower had no middle setting, so was either scolding or freezing. Breakfast was extremely busy and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. No-one came to take my tea/coffee order or any requests for poached eggs.
Great location walking distance to everything. Took care of of our room twice a day.
When we first checked in they didn’t have our correct rooms. We had booked two rooms with two queen beds but all they had left was two rooms with one king bed. The manager was able to upgrade one room to a suite but we had to switch the other room two days in. No big deal and the staff was very helpful.
We had to change rooms because our AC was broken and they only had rooms with a single bed so I had to sleep on floor, promised a $200 credit but have not seen it yet!
