Guests frequently mention the hotel's excellent location as a base for exploring the town and surrounding countryside. Many reviews note that the staff are friendly and helpful, and several guests appreciated the breakfast. However, there are consistent comments about the hotel being dated and in need of refurbishment, with some concerns about cleanliness and value for price.
