All along the central coast of New South Wales you will find fabulous beaches, lakes and hinterland. There are a number of fantastic wineries in the region, in particular the Hunter Valley which is also famous for its spas, fine restaurants and luxury accommodation. With 892 beaches in the state, there is a lot of coastline to choose from. Ettalong beach is renowned for its calm lagoons and waterways, excellent for families with small children. Surfing enthusiasts can catch the best waves at Byron Bay, Port Macquarie or Newcastle.
