Friendly helpful approach during lockdown
The stuff was friendly, front desk is open 24/7 which is the only reason I chose this hotel
The walls are so thin I could hear every conversation, on top of that some guests were playing music at 2 am.
Bathroom screen was damaged, door to bathroom was damaged. Air con didn’t work, ceiling fan was ready to take off when on. Tv wasn’t working as the plug was damaged that could of potentially caused a fire also the Ariel cable was damaged preventing the tv from getting a signal. The door to the room didn’t feel safe and secure and had no lock. Will not be coming back again.
The staff members at check in, breakfast and check out were great , very helpful and I thank the check out guy for letting me sit on the sofa for an hour while i waited to my check in time at the hostel.
Pretty much everything else. The windows were boarded up which made my room feel like a solitary confinement prison cell, the walls were very thin and I was kept up till 5 in the morning due to a guy on the hallway screaming down the phone at someone, the breakfast was awfully bland and within 10 minutes lying on the bed I was itching. Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't atall expecting luxury for £23, but there's a middle ground between luxury and what I described above.
Hotel Goya is a simple budget hotel but well located near the main station and a short walk to town centre... beach area about 20 minutes... metro close by too...breakfast while not elaborate very satisfying for just 5 euros...
Bit noisy (internal) , bathroom a bit dilapidated.... but really these for price just quibbles
