My wife and I just wanted to get out of the house for a night as a mini-escape vacation and even though we only went across town we felt well cared for by the staff and the the room which had a full fridge and eating area was perfect.
It was located in a convenient location & I was able to get new towels when I wanted them!
Conveniently located and a good price for the location. Free wifi and parking is a plus.
Only thing that was poor was the outside signing it was dark and couldn't find the hotel
I've stayed here several times when in Atlanta on business. Good location, good value.
The staff did their best, but were limited by other clients staying in the hotel long term. Those clients were rude, obnoxious and clearly made the staff exhausted. I really felt so bad for the staff. They seemed to work very hard but were so limited by the long term clients. The rooms were what I expected for the price. About equal to a motel 6 but with a kitchenette and not consistantly as maintained. The long term clients were loud, rude and obnoxious. Running up and down the hallways from sundown to sun up. Also the main reason for the low rating. If you know about this in advance you can probably compensate for that some how. Honestly I would never stay there again as I don't see the long term client situation changing there anytime soon.
Location catered to families in distress...not families/couples on vacation.
I've stayed here 3 times on business. It's clean and a good value. Right next to Marta station.
And this is something that comes from the area management A Jamaican woman is in charge and she has not once of the 3 or 4 times in the 8 yrs ever felt with an issue as a professional in the hospitality industry. Would not recommend
Great location and convenient to everything we wanted during our trip to Atlanta. However, where is the 'deluxe' in this location. The rooms we had needed a better cleaning than they were given. The next morning we had an ant problem in the kitchen area, which was a surprise since we had no food items. Weekend breakfast consisted of coffee. I booked for two nites, but me room keys did not work on the second day, so they had to re-program the keys. The kitchen accessories were missing items that should have accommodated two people - i.e., 1 fork instead of 2, 1 bowl instead of 2, etc. The price was great, location great, amenities or lack of were poor, and this was not a 3-diamond hotel...not even close.
definitely not a pillow top mattress but it was fine. Best part is that it is so convenient to the MARTA system and there are shops close by.
This is a clean hotel at a great price. It is conveniently located, but traffic is busy during rush hours making it difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. The free breakfast is only available Monday - Friday. They did offer free internet access, but I didn't use it.
This would be a great hotel for a long stay. We only stayed one night. It had everything you could need. The bed was not the most comfortable and the comforter had a stain on it but totally worth the price.
Due to this being an extended stay place and the rooms having kitchens, the room smelled horrible. But... I was nice to have a microwave and make a late night dinner. Additionally, the staff was very standoffish and unwelcoming. I usually have great things to say about hotels but this one just rubbed me the wrong way.
Easy walk to Marta Station and McDonalds across the street. Limited breakfast at hotel. Room had fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffemaker, hair dryer, tv, sleeper sofa and bed. If you are on a tight budget this place will do. Trains are very close so if you are a light sleeper it might bother you.
Not sure what scale was used to list this location as a three star, but I don't think it should be listed as such. The place was clean and a great price and location.
This hotel is definitely NOT a 3 star. Mattress was not very comfortable. No ice machine. Internet was not free.
The lady who checked me in was friendly and helpful but the lady who checked me out was borderline rude. My room was on the backside and the Marta subway was quite noisy. A light sleeper might have a problem. My room was ok not three star. The toilet seat hadn't been cleaned, the carpet had burn marks and tears in it and the sofa cushion was torn. Lastly there was no soap or shampoo so be prepared if you stay here.
The hotel was a little difficult to find, but turned out to be in a quiet residential neighborhood that felt very safe. The desk clerk went out of her way to help me find a restaurant for dinner. The pool was a nice surprise, very clean and exactly the right temperature. The only negatives were a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the room - I'll remember to request non-smoking next time. There was also a train track quite nearby, but I did not find it disturbing. Were I not a fresh-air freak, and had I closed the window, I probably would not have heard the train at all.
The first room they gave me , the sheets were VERY dirty! they had not been changed, the 2nd room was nice but the TV did not work! There was no shampoo or conditioner or klenex in the room! This was a bosic 1 star hotel not a 3 star !!!
We had a deluxe with 2 queens, sofa bed and kitchenette (6 people fully disclosed prior to arrival). The room wasn't the cleanest (bad smell and not properly vacuumed). There were no pillows for the sofa bed. We called the front desk and were told there to call back after 10AM. We received 1 extra pillow on day 3 (of 4). The same went for towels. The room did not have basic toiletries. The kitchen has a sink and dishwasher but bring your own soaps and cloths for washing dishes. Coffee wasn't provided for the 4 cup coffee maker, but cream and sugar were. There were eating utensils, plates, and cups for 2 people only. The guests across the hall had their music blaring, but once you closed the door you couldn't hear it. When other guests cook you can smell it so bring your Febreeze! There is no in room safe. The rooms are only cleaned if you stay over 6 days. You have to live with the dirty floor, sheets, dishes, towels, etc. The hotel will clean ?for a fee?. They put a large trash can at...
this hotel was okay i've seen better but i was only there for two nights so it was acceptable.
