This hotel offered us exemplary service and all of the comforts of home. Bathroom was a tad small, only one person can get ready at a time if you need mirror/counter space. Close to everything in downtown Atlanta which allowed us to park once and walk to the places we wanted to visit. Cannot reiterate the niceness of the staff. Definitely would stay here again!

The hotel was perfectly situated for the tourist attractions we wanted to visit, especially the Georgia Aquarium which was just across the road. We were also ideally situated for a variety of restaurants and bars and found plenty of activities to do in the evening. The hotel was reasonably priced and although we didn't have breakfast included, the price was very reasonable and a large variety of food was on offer.

I picked up bed bugs at this hotel in September 2013, was bitten horribly and spent thousands of dollars to eliminate the problem from my home. Phone calls to to hotel management were not returned. I wanted to make sure they treated the problem so others wouldn't experience what I went through. I'm extremely disappointed.

My daughter and I recently stayed here and I can tell you it is WAY OVERRATED!!!! It is an OLD RUN DOWN hotel. It cost us a fortune to stay there and the staff was very indifferent at best. The door to our room would not close tight and could be pushed open 2 or 3 inches. It wouldn't have been hard to break in to the room. I have worked at many hotels and it's sad that we could have stayed at a choice hotel and had a better stay for half the money which would have included a breakfast along with free parking. The location is good It was a smallish room with a couch that probably should not even belong to a motel 6. Had to ask for towel/coffee(and I am not talking weather related issue). The valet parking of $32/night is outrageous - even discounting the $15/night internet charge. It was a room in the smaller side and the couch was almsot like an bench with some cushion in it. Room temperature was difficult to manage - it kept going up. We had to ask for towel and coffee (we had to ask for it again but that was weather related issue when they stopped all guest service for 3 days). The valet parking of $32/night is simply outrageuous along with the $15/night internet charge. If it was published before, it would have influenced my choice of this hotel. Location was good. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was very good. Location was great. Maintenance worker was very kind and helpful. Heating unit was so loud that they could hear it in the background when I called to complain. Instead of moving us right away, they sent a repairman at 1:30am! Room was too small. Thought I was getting a king, ended up with a queen which was too small. I would stay here again. However, I would call to make sure that I was getting a king room in one of the newer towers. The view from the older towers is terrible, especially if you are on the lower floors. This took away from the ambience of being in downtown Atlanta. Although the room itself was nice, the queen room in the older tower was just so small that I felt closed in. The restaurant has a fantastic cook to order breakfast, along with an all you can eat breakfast buffet with cooked to order eggs and a variety of other breakfast treats. I liked that there was a marta station really close by. The standard rooms are really old and not appealing at all. I was upgraded because my door card didn't work twice, but even that looked like a standard room in other hotels. The water gets hot after 5 minutes, the linen always had marks on it. Not worth anything more than $40 a night! This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The linen was never cleaned properly, as there were always marks on them. The toilet seat also always had a black soot like residue after the cleaners had serviced the room. 3 times my room wasn't serviced. The water randomly stops being hot and you have to leave it running for about 5 minutes to get it hot again. I was given complimentary room service for breakfast as I complained and the food was horrible. It was cold, the bacon was burnt and I had to explain that I wasn't to be charged as the manager offered it as complimentary. The hotel rooms could do with a good... ... more

Public spaces, location Poorly maintained not worth the money at all Our floor button didn't work on 3/4 elevators so we ended up having to climb over a barrier in a stairwell to get to our room. Staff on all three shifts informed and not only was nothing done, nothing was offered. Parking was NOT included and was both expensive and inconvenient. Room was outdated, with bolted shut balcony doors. The bathroom was a travesty. Not very clean, outdated tiles, holes in the terry cloth shower curtain. The toilet made an odd gasping noise for 10 minutes after every flush. The hair dryer didn't work we requested another but it never arrived...I'm assuming because they could not access our floor. The furniture in the room was badly stained as was the carpet. The business center charged to access the computers - there was a card swipe attached, no joke. The sitting room and bedroom were beautifully decorated, spacious and a great value. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was a surprise with homemade omelettes and eggs and meats available in addition to the usual hotel breakfast buffet. The only surprise that wasn't so wonderful was paying to park the car at $20 a day. This has not been my experience in Atlanta staying at other hotels, but even that did not dampen my enthusiasm for this hotel.
