Alot of noise from other rooms Poor air conditioning
Room was not cleaned when they checked me in. Called to front desk and they said it was cleaned but clearly not and then they argued with me. Not sure I would stay here again

I was in Austin on personal business. Do to an emergency, I was required to stay an extra day-- it was late in the afternoon. I opened my laptop, went to Kayak and found a hotel. I quickly reserved a room then continued on w/my business. A few hours later I arrive at the hotel only to realize I used the wrong date (the next night) and didn't have a reservation. The hotel was sold out! I called Kayak, tried to cancel, tried to explain my situation. Rebuffed in each and every case. No. The policy. No, your responsibility. I didn't have a room and eventually went directly to the Hilton hotel site. I called back the next day, one more attempt to have a reasonable conversation, a common sense discussion. No, the policy is clear. I will never use Kayak again. There are plenty of options and the insensitivity, the lack of interest in recognizing a simple mistake and helping with accommodation that night-- didn't exist.
