Pros: We arrived safely. Which is most important. However...
Cons: Everything. This airline is the bare minimum. No TV's, no WIFI, uncomfortable seats, no leg room, NO AIR VENT, narrow isles, unfriendly flight attendants... Should I continue? There are no amenities with this airline. It's like stepping back in time... Worst airline I have ever flown!

Don't fly Azores
Pros: We didn't crash.
Cons: So far as I can tell, Azores doesn't particularly know how to run a plane. Their service was laughably bad, if you aren't in the plane suffering it.
Boarding is bad. They start about 45 minutes prior to the flight, and need it because they're gonna bus you out to the plane. There is no order to who gets on first, you just get into the mob-like line and hope for the best. Once we got to the plane, we waited standing for no apparent reason for about 30 minutes. No announcement was made (in Portuguese or English). Because there was no order to how people got onto the busses, people blocked the isle getting onto the plane as well.
Result, we departed Lisbon 1 hour late. There was a connection in the Azores. There everyone had to deplane, even if you were continuing on (more busses). And then getting onto the plane was the same deal. Result, we departed the islands even later, finally reaching Boston 2:15 late.
Amazingly, my connecting flight wouldn't leave for another 40 minutes. The lady at the exit ramp told me that should be enough time to get through customs and over to the connection. Unsurprisingly it wasn't.
On the plane, the seats were small and uncomfortable. Leg room was minimal. The seats had screens built into the back of them, but none of them worked. The only 'entertainment' we got was watching Linux continuously reboot on the seat screen next to mine. My personal screen didn't even offer this.
Food was dry crackers, and an equally dry and sad sandwich. Portions were very small, so plan on packing a lunch. They do offer complimentary beer and wine, but getting a steward over to serve you is near impossible.
Service was gruff, and frequently not very polite. I was hit by stewards running (actually running) up and down the isle. Stewards seemed generally more interested in talking in the back of the plane than serving passengers.

Nice aircraft and crew
Pros: The a330 was nice, seats had a good incline and cabin crew was very accommodating and friendly to me.
Cons: In flight entertainment didn't work at all
Food was bland, but somewhat on par with American carriers (low bar). But the ticket was pretty cheap.
