8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable room , decent breakfast and very reasonably priced.
Cons: Wouldn't have expected more for that price
7.5 Good
Pros: good standard fare breakfast.
Cons: nothing particular
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice breakfast!
Cons: Floor was slightly grubby on arrival! It was cleaned the next day though! Not bad enough to make a complaint!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, I was pleasantly surprised. It was 8 mins away from the festival that I was attending so was perfect. I didnt witness happy smiley faces from reception, or a hello when I walked by and I did think that their polo t-shirt uniform was a little too casual. But on the whole I would recommend it and stay there again.
Cons: See previous answer.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Soap dispensers that don’t work properly, mediocre breakfast, room not cleaned thoroughly, cups left dirty, no hand towels.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful and a huge variety. Struggled to know when it was being served however, as no information in rooms about breakfast times or checkout times. Had to specifically go to the desk to ask, and this involved waiting for a member of staff to come over to the desk. Having said this, all staff were very helpful and the rooms were wonderful.
Cons: Having information in rooms about timings of breakfast and check out would have been very helpful.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean rooms . Pleasant lounge and bar
Cons: Shower drain was smelly. Hot breakfast buffet was very disappointing. A choice of just 4 items.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness. It was a good base to explore the peak district
Cons: The shower could have more pressure
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Able to check in and come back to the hotel late
Cons: The beds were really uncomfortable like sleeping on a brick they only gave 2 pillows which were really thin and made it incredibly hard to sleep. The room was too hot meaning he needed to open the window which made it too noisy to sleep . The food wasnt very nice it was dry and stuck together . There was no staff on reception when we wanted to check out . We left the hotel at 745am and came home to sleep . I wouldn't reccomend this hotel
6.8 Good
Pros: Croissants were very fresh. Bath towels on the large side so good for wrapping up in. Good supply of coffees.
Cons: No hand towels. Pillow case bit rough.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food, the staff was amazing.
Cons: The spa and swimming area needs to be mentioned on the website that’s it’s next door not in the hotel. But overall a good place
6.8 Good
Pros: the ease of parking was fantastic, the check inn was fantastic, and the sports facilities was fantastic.
Cons: the room acoustics were very poor I could here the kettle and tv from the room next door, the bar staff attention was ignorant and very poorly trained I don't expect amazing but good would be a start, the food from the bar was very poor culinary skills and the basic condiments not available and when requested didn't come back to me until the meal was nearly finished with just contempt. when I thought that they could not do a breakfast wrong he he , the young lady at breakfast just didn't want to help and yawned all the way through my breakfast every geust that came in was just too much of an effort for her. this tells me the culture at this hotel needs a management change at the very least. sorry to be so damning but people need to be aware.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location ideal just off M1 and only a few minutes from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, our immediate destination.
Cons: We opted to eat in the bar, which had mediocre ambience, ( though the food was good) the restaurant would have been a much better choice for an evening meal.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was really comfortable
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The welcome at reception was lovely, the receptionist was very helpful and exceptionally polite
Cons: No food after 10pm, not even a bag of nuts at the bar. There was a party which was very noisy until 2.30am! Breakfast was disappointingly adequate in quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to the M1. Friendly check in and bar staff. Well appointed clean rooms. Excellent choice and quality for breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the whole place in its-self was grand and the staff was polite and friendly.
Cons: The walls seemed paper thin. I would hear everything every other room was doing, although I made light and joked of the situation it was still a factor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked everything about the place
Cons: Place was clean and very comfortable staff great breakfast very good location good for our stay
4.3 Okay
Cons: There were sticky spots on the carpet in my room.. The room has little or no sound proofing. I could hear the T.V. from the next door room, the sound was coming through the headboard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was wonderful, very pleasing to the eye, clean and tidy. The rooms spacious and comfortable. We woke up late due to the great black out curtains! Breakfast was nice but did have to ask for it to be replenished before we could eat. We would return but not fussed about using the pool again.
Cons: The Bannatyne spa facilities let the stay down. They were tired and the pool area, showers in need of renovation. The reception staff were unfriendly and unorganised.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a nice mixture of the old and new with some interesting buildings around. There's a nice variety of food at breakfast and the fruit was fresh.
Cons: We ate in the bar a few time and I found some of the food to be rather bland and tasteless. I had two of the chicken dishes on separate occasions - Harissa Rubbed chicken and the Chicken escalope; both of which were devoid of flavour. On the plus side, the pizzas I had on two other evenings were very good. Bedroom: I was given a room designed for a physically handicapped person which was peculiar since I do not require such facilities. Whilst this was not a huge problem, the room lacked a chest of drawers so I had to distribute all my clothing amongst the small drawers in the bedside cabinets and desk.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Got told wrong breakfast time no sleep in room as they was refurbishing the part of the hotel manger very rude when I complained about the noise my 2 year child had no sleep or breakfast I didn’t expect a full refund but I think I should of at least got the money back for the breakfast I did not revive

Cons: -
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in one of the newly furbished rooms, which was stunning! Very clean, it’s got everything you need. The staff were great and quick to fix a problem if there was one. The food was lovely.
Cons: As great as the room was, it’s was boiling! No matter what we did, we couldn’t bring the temperature down. It was 33 degrees. A lot hotter than what it was outside. Also, anyone walking past our room, we could hear them talking so clearly, it sounded like they were in our room. Our room was also near the staff room and some incredibly creaky stairs, which wasn’t great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and friendly staff.
Cons: Charged my card for breakfast that we didn’t have. Phoned the hotel to resolve twice and was told someone would call me back!! No one has !!
