Pros: Everything. Rooms are clean, view is amazing, fresh towels are given twice a day, nice location and food in this resort is the best on all Clearwater Beach (we've tried multiple breakfast places, cafes around that area, we had complains for food everywhere except our resort)
Cons: This place is for families (we were 2 couples before 30), a lot of little kids and pool is not deep (around 1 meter deepest part). We love kids, they did not bother us at all (this is just FYI).
The only thing we did not liked is that they have early check out at 11:00 am and check in is late at 4:00pm (usually it is 3:00pm in most places) When we were checking in rooms weren't ready yet, so we've checked in at 5:15 pm and for check out they gave us only extra 30 minutes. Other wise I enjoyed stay.
Pros: ocean front - fantastic view, looking new / well maintained property, friendly staff
Cons: very limited vegetarian food options, water and ice was not available in the pantry many times. did not see cookies even once. instead of charging a fee for the 3rd bicycle, you could provide something similar to Hyatt's Wheel Fun Rentals. You could challenge yourself with providing food and drinks at competitive price
Pros: The view was amazing best location on the beach also free bottled water on each floor
Cons: Rooms were decent and comfortable but not resort luxury, to many kids running around felt like I was at a kids resort, resort fee covers fresh fruit never had any out on my floor in the pantry they have call ahead valet so it creates congestion with the cars and your stuck and can't leave .... Utter confusion
At Opal Sands Resort, you can spend time at the beach relaxing in a sun lounger, plus you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Pier 60 Park. The outdoor pool provides a splash of fun, while guests in the mood for pampering can indulge in mani/pedis at the spa. Seaguini serves Italian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a poolside bar and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this upscale resort offer balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Cons: small i thought i booked double queen we had to share not very comfortable but a good value for the location
Pros: Love this place. Already planning our next trip here. We live about a hour away and this is a great place for a weekend getaway. Travis was super friendly and nice. In walking distance to everything. We didn't drive any where. Close to the pier the beach and lots of food places.
When you stay at Barefoot Bay Resort & Marina, you'll be just a 5-minute drive from Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. All rooms feature kitchenettes and microwaves.
Cons: A pair of women's panties were found between sheets on the first day
Pros: staff helpful, beach towels and chairs provided
Cons: Funky smell in room like old body oder
Cons: They tried to charge a "resort fee" of $25 per room per night to cover "amenities" such as pool towels, a newspaper, small bottle of water in the room, down service, business and fitness facilities, and other minor incidentals that all major hotels provide for at no charge. I had them remove that charge from our bill. We will not stay there again or anywhere where they try to nickel and dime you at every turn.
No self parking - and valet charge was $22 per day. This is in the off season and an outrageous cost.
Pros: The luxury begins as soon as you walk through the front doors. The Sandpearl is a great resort with huge beautifully appointed lobby, fantastic swimming pool, convenient bar/restaurant with poolside service and gorgeous gulf front view. My wife and I went for a four day trip to celebrate our anniversary. The location could not be better as there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to visit. I also suggest renting bikes to tour the island. The staff could not have been more helpful and we even received chocolate covered strawberries one evening. What a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay there again should we come back with the kids. The resort is very kid friendly with the huge pool and organized activities.
Pros: The pool and access to the beach was out of this world. Service was good and room was clean and had all of the amenities. Very family friendly (probably not the spot for a adults weekend).
Cons: Food options could have been better.
Pros: Well planned activities and kids club
Right in the heart of Clearwater Beach
Enough staff and services to accommodate all guests without feeling rushed or crowded - even with a full resort
Security to keep the private beach and pool areas from being invaded by neighboring spring breakers
Cons: Spa amenities left something to be desired - although the massage itself was great
No shower or changing area near pool - we checked out but spent the whole day at the resort since our flight was in the late evening. When we were done enjoying the pool and beach - there was no where for us to change or shower prior to departure to the airport.
Only 2 restaurants on property - decent quality - nothing special
The resort is not very secluded - it's right in the heart of Clearwater
Pros: As a woman traving alone, I felt comfortable and welcomed whether walking on the beach, dining at the restaurant, or sipping coffee in the beautiful lobby. I would return to this well appointed property with my husband or friends.
The hotel was amazing !! Loved everything
Pros: Friendliness of staff, always willing to make things better if they could.
Location is right on beach which made acess real easy.. Beautiful scenery.
Cons: I didn't like that the book in the room providing information was not
up to date. For example the vending machines are listed on the 6th
floor, they are no longer any macines. Also the phone extension to place
room service for late night food is incorrect . Please update .
I would also extend hours for restaurant in the afternoon if possible.
Add a snack shop or extend the hours of the coffee shop to at least
11 or 12 pm
Pros: Attentiveness of the staff was the most outstanding feature. Food was also exceptionally good.
Cons: Couldn't get the WiFi to work, and the staff couldn't help. The resort fee was pretty much wasted on me, as it rained for my entire stay. This hotel is a good hour from all the places I needed to go.
Pros: The hotel was very nice. The lobby and rooms were very well appointed with very friendly staff.
Cons: The pool could have been slightly larger as it did get somewhat crowded.
Cons: Included gratuity for poolside service
Sandpearl Resort is nestled between the white sands of Clearwater Beach and restaurant-lined Mandalay Avenue. The street performances at Pier 60 are a 10-minute walk, as is Clearwater Beach Marina. Caladesi Island State Park is 10 minutes by car from the hotel.

Pros: The people running the property were amazing, the location being so close to everything was perfect and the heated pool wasn't bad... hands down best part was the squirrel living on the property!
Cons: Was a little outdated and could have been a bit cleaner, just being picky.
Pros: The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Saw bugs in the bathroom which was a bit dirty and outdated.
Pros: Location was great, clean, comfortable and the staff was great
When you stay at Amber Tides Motel, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Pier 60 Park and Sand Key Park. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests can keep active with onsite mini golf. 2 outdoor pools and a terrace are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: The room was nice but being such a new hotel, there shouldn't have been stains on the carpet and in the corners the carpet was coming up. I pool was over crowed and no one was policing the chairs. Anyone from the beach (not staying at the hotel) could come use the pool even though they are not supposed to because there was no one checking and the gate did not lock. I saw at least 6 chairs where it was obvious they did were not staying at the hotel.
Cons: Had to wait to long to receive food at the bar.
Bathed in golden sunshine, our incredible resort is only steps from stunning Clearwater Beach, recently named America’s Best Beach by TripAdvisor. It’s also across the street from Clearwater Beach Marina, offering access to all boating activities, and steps to Pier 60, known for its sunset celebrations.
A stay at our distinctive resort is an unsurpassed experience with a bounty of upscale amenities, including a full-service spa, an outdoor pool and whirlpool spa, a 24/7 fitness center, and multiple dining options. All 343 beautifully designed rooms feature ocean views, free WiFi, and plush comforts to elevate downtime.
At Silver Sands Motel, you'll be just a 5-minute drive from Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool or take advantage of nearby parasailing. Rooms feature kitchenettes and free WiFi.
Pros: My room was more than satisfactory, boasting incredible water views from every angle of the large balcony. Inside the room, I felt surrounded by elegance from the crisp white linens on the large king sized bed to the high end furniture choices used to compliment the large kitchenette. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious, perfect for relaxation after a long day on the adjacent white sand beaches. The staff, particularly my wait staff at Shor; Aki and Nate, as well as my bartender, Krystin; made me feel right at home as if I had known them for a lifetime. With their pleasant welcome and eagerness to make my vacation as enjoyable as possible, it was easy to see why this resort is so highly rated. I will most definitely arrange for another stay soon to revisit this beautiful resort and its amazing staff and will be sure to recommend the Hyatt Regency in the future.
Pros: the facility was amazing and so was the pool
Cons: the sheets were not changed in our hotel in 10 days. the hotel doenst have its own housekeeping staff it looks like. every day was a different maid.
Pros: Excellent food!
Pool was not overcrowded, even on a holiday weekend. We were able to find a chair, no matter the time of day.
Friendly, gracious staff.
Beds were comfy and we had more than enough pillows.
Cons: Technically, the beach is across the street. But we had great views of the beach and the harbor, especially from the upper floors.
Pros: Pool view of ocean.
Cons: Loud construction noise outside room starting at 730 am. Not worth $400/night to have to put up with that. No bar/lounge.
Cons: Beds were too firm
Pillow were uncomfortable
Pros: We loved the room and view of the pool deck. The location is adjacent to a pristine beach, the beach walk and not far from shopping, dining and transportation. My wife got a shell massage at the Sandiva Spa, which she said was very nice and worth the expense. Our ice maker in our fridge didn't work, but the staff was helpful, fixed it quickly and brought us a bag of ice. The hotel dining was also very good. There were plenty of options, local flavors and the food was delicious.
Cons: There was nothing, that I noticed or experienced, that detracted from our short vacation. It's an upscale resort in a resort town. So the hallway carpeting is worn and wrinkling, and there are nicks and scuffs here and there. If you're the type of person for whom perfection is your expectation, then stop here. You're better off building your own perfect resort from scratch. Save this one for the rest of us.
Pros: Staff excellent!!!! Fixed my problem with a bonus. Love those guys at the Hyatt...Worth every pretty penny!
Cons: My reservation from Bookit.com did not arrive in time for my arrival. I waited in embarrassment for 45 min while trying to solve the problem over the phone. The manager took care of the problem later. I will never book a res with Bookit.com again!!!
Idyllic location with sophistication, style, comfort and convenience of a luxury resort. Ocean-view guest rooms suites, fine gourmet-dining, full service spa, 24hr Hyatt Stay Fit gym, pools and fountains, and only steps to the beach.
Pros: I loved that you could sit out on the balcony and view the stars and hear the motion on the water
Cons: The teenage boys climbing on the rocks of the waterfall and yelling at midnight
Pros: Pool, room, price
Pros: Paid WiFi connection rate was very good.
Cons: It was hard to believe that Marriot would charge for WiFi access.
Pros: Could see dolphins from our balcony. Room very clear. Nice to have 2 rooms. Boardwalk with restaurants and shops connected to hotel very nice. Trolley stop right in front of hotel so no need for car.
Cons: Had trouble with sub housekeeper last evening and hotel handled badly. Couldn't use balcony at night because the garlic smell from kitchen was overwhelming (did not get into room with door closed). Beds were not comfortable
Pros: We liked everything...very family friendly...clean....pool is great...close to everything...absolutely the best!!

Pros: The location was phenomenal and the rooms were clean.
Cons: The front desk staff and front desk manager were awful. I had two reservations under my name and they originally jad one on the 6th floor and one on the 9th. The check in agent then wanted to imprint my credit card and had a stack of inprinted cards on the desk. I did not feel that was safe and refused which then turned into an issue. There are two elevators for 10 floors and one is shared with housekeeping. You have to use your keycard to go up and it doesn't work half the time. For your money I would suggest booking elsewhere.
Pros: The room was clean, updated, and spacious. The balcony overlooked the harbor and view was great. Each morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast before we walked across the street to the beach
Pros: Great hotel and staff! everyone very helpful. excellent location for everything very close to town and the beach was right across the street. only thing we didn't like was the breakfast not enough protein choices almost everything was very high in carbs but everything else was great
Pros: The hotel is new any so the rooms and facilities are in good order.
Cons: The inclusive breakfast was basic and the reception staff indifferent.
Pros: Loved the 10th floor bar, Jimmy's, for watching the sunset. Have good bartenders & a tasty frozen drink & beer menu.
Friendly staff, free continental breakfast, very nice rooms, lots of towels, & comfy beds.
Awesome views of harbor or beach (depending on which side you're on) . . . Harbor view rooms have balconies.
Good business center, free Wi-Fi.
All parking is coversed & is $16.00 per day but it's come & go. Very reasonable & convenient as City parking lots get very full in the evening.
Highly recommend, great, fun place to stay.
All in all 4.7 stars out of 5.
Cons: No balconies on beach side rooms.
Located in the heart of Clearwater Beach, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Clearwater Municipal Marina, Pier 60 Park, and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Sand Key Park is 2 mi (3.2 km) away.
Pros: Great location, very quiet and very clean! Outdoor space was beautiful but we only went to the beach (why go to the beach and stay at the pool all day?? I can get in a pool at home). Beach was quiet, no large crowds or nonsense. We loved it!
Cons: Fridge could've been larger but wasn't an issue for us.
Pros: We loved the ocean view and the rooms were nice despite the size. Everything was clean.
Cons: As many others have said, the walk to the beach is a jaunt and the weekend we were visiting there had recently been a storm so the walkway was flooded with two plus feet of water. The beach itself was not altogether delightful- run down and dirty. We spent the weekend at the pool which felt very small and overcrowded. At the snack at we purchased a refillable cup only the find after drinking that there were ants in the soda line so our cup was full of dead and dying ants. Our purchase was not refunded.
Pros: Nice beach front location
Cons: Rooms were dated. We had a view of the roof and building across from that which wasn't part of our beach get away plans.
Pros: Excellent pool and beach
Cons: Bathrooms are on the small side
Pros: We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Sand Key. I was notified via text to check in early and request any preferences for our room. I was given an easy access room on a quiet floor and a ton of extra pillows, as I requested them because I am pregnant. The staff was super accommodating right from the beginning! The room we stayed in was updated, clean, and had a great shower. The resort is beautiful with the option of the pool and the beach available. My husband and I just pulled pool chairs out onto the sand past the volleyball courts and it was peaceful and quiet, and very relaxing! The beach is beautiful to swim, and walk along for sunsets. The food at the hotel is great too! A great place for families and couples alike, hard to find! i highly recommend!!!
Pros: Enjoyed the location - Easy access to the beach, umbrellas and padded lounge chairs available for $25.00/day. We saw beautiful sea life (starfish, a baby octopus!, dolphins, pelicans, live shell dwellers) but no jellyfish and no sharks at all while we were there. Debbie, our Beach Concierge, brought us great sandwiches made upon order by the hotel chef for $10.00 each and she told us stories, answered all of our questions about the hotel and the area, helped us celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary -- She Was Wonderful! The hotel is clean and the staff was very accommodating. We had a wonderful experience. Our room had a partial view of the beach and it overlooked the tennis courts. It wasn't ideal but it was nice.
Cons: Our room smelled a little musty and it was located near the laundry/vending/ice machines which were all very noisy and used frequently. There was about half an inch of space at the bottom of our door to the hallway so we heard all of the noises from the hallway very easily. The room was a typical hotel room but the bed was very comfortable. And it's nothing that the hotel can control but the municipal water there is very soft and it feels like you're still soapy even though you're clean so it takes some adjustment to get used to.
Pros: I liked the bed itself. It was good for sleeping.
Cons: The front desk was a mess. 4 people working it, but still a line of 5 people. I asked for another night in my room and was told there was no way. I asked for a room with a good view and a balcony. I got a view. And a balcony. FACING A TREE AND THEIR MAIN ENTRANCE WITH THE PARKING LOT TO THE SIDE. How romantic....
Escape to our serene oceanfront resort bordering Clearwater Beach. Adjacent to the Sand Key Park and Preserve, it overlooks aquamarine waters offering boating excursions, while nearby shopping, arts and culture, golf, and dining present memories in the making. Meet on our 10-acre white sand beach, where the Gulf of Mexico and our beachfront pool invite you to swim or simply relax. Energize afterward at Sheraton Fitness or at the Sheraton Club Lounge, where ocean views from the 9th floor combine with an array of amenities. Make yourself at home in our 390 guest rooms and suites, the majority of which offer a private patio or balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico or Intracoastal Waterway. The Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience and countless thoughtful amenities add to the welcoming location.
Pros: Good space. Kitchen equipped well. Exelent beds.
Cons: A/c don't cool down the hole townhouse.
Pros: I took a blind leap on this one and booked last minute. I checked-in in about 30 seconds easily and my room was a nice 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It's an old hotel with character in what I call "old Florida style". Usually you'll find these around the state run down, but this location is in excellent condition with the room being remodeled. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the A/C was good. I've stayed in plenty of big name hotels that were not nearly as nice. There's no elevator to deal with since it's one story and it's drive up to the room for the most part so if you have lots of gear, you're good to go. It's about 2 blocks from the "strip".
Cons: Those looking for a full service hotel experience won't find it here. No baggage handling, bar, or restaurant.
At Island Cay at Clearwater Beach, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Other highlights include a garden, and condos offer flat-screen TVs and designer toiletries.
Pros: This motel is very clean, great location to shops, food, and the beach, great atmosphere. The owners are awesome and make you feel like you have known them forever. It was also very affordable. We can't wait to go back!
Cons: Limited parking
At North Sunrise Motel, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool or take advantage of nearby parasailing. Other highlights include a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and microwaves.
Cons: Needs updates and very expensive for old motel level of quality
Pros: Beautiful marina views. Clean rooms. Quiet.
Pros: Hotel is close to the center of activities, once park do not need to use the car. On the water, the East side is very quite and welcome the sunshine if you like to keep the curtain open
Cons: No personnel present after 19:00 Hr.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, the hotel and the area were quiet and comfortable. Easy to drive to, secluded. Good value for the money if you are a budget-minded traveler.
Cons: Quite far from the main beach area, so not the place to be if you want to go to the beach all the time. Room was clean and well kept but the shower in the room was horrible - old, no pressure, and alternating between hot and cold water.
Pros: Nice staff. Very helpful. Good location.
Cons: Horrible mildew smell. Made it difficult to sleep.
Cons: we weren't staying longer
Charthouse Hotel & Suites puts you within a 10-minute drive of Sand Key Park and Pier 60 Park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool or take advantage of nearby hiking/biking trails. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with balconies and premium bedding.
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, private manmade beach, complimentary valet
Cons: Music played until midnight and was very loud in your room, manmade beach was very small, expensive to use their equipment
Pros: The pool area was nice
Cons: The rave music went from early afternoon to very early morning. The rooms also were not spectacular for the price paid. There was no ventilation in the bathroom either, which made smells linger in the bathroom. Overall I would not come back.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Didn't liked it it was in the beach and the pool and Jacuzzi was cold
Pros: Really enjoyed the overall hotel. Beach is small but nice. Pool is very enjoyable. Lots of bars that included specials. Hotel room was very clean. Hotel made our stay easy and fun.
Cons: We did find ants in our bathroom but didn't see it as a big deal, simply took care of it ourselves.
Pros: Several bars, a nightclub, and a stage with live music and a dance floor all in one resort. It also has a pool, hot tub, and a small private beach. Also walking distance to several restaurants and shops.
Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer (not really a negative comment about the resort, just wish I had a lower vacation)
Pros: The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The hotel smelled like salt water, which, I realize is most likely due to its close proximity, however other places I've stayed did not have that issue. This place is solidly just ok. Not great, but not terrible. A younger, less pampered traveler probably would have been thrilled by the accommodations.
Pros: Location and amenities are great! Valet was also great and they were friendly and fast
Cons: Being placed in the room directly above the club. I requested a higher floor to be away from the club and its noise until 3am
Pros: Music was outstanding! The staff was extremely friendly! Beautiful view!
Cons: Beach chairs should be free as a guest.
Pros: Loved the showers!! We stayed in fort Myers at a condo, then due to bad weather we decided to head to Clearwater. Best decision ever! Took the key west express for a couple days and came right back to shepards! We will definitely be back!
Cons: The elevates were slow... Took forever to get on one depending on the time of day. We mostly used the stairs.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view from our balcony was if the beach and the club beneath us. The pool was very clean. On Sunday's they reserve it for hotel guests only......as far as the night club, they play a lot of techno but on Sundays they changed it up. Ohhh I almost forgot about the cheap drink specials. You cannot beat a 2 dollar drink. The resort was awesome all in all. You never need to leave the premises. But if you don't like loudness at night in your room from the music, ask to not stay on the same side as the club.
Cons: Although there were no reserve seats at the pool. People did it.
Pros: The new renovations and the friendly staff
Cons: That the only way to park your car was through valet
Pros: I liked everything about this Hotel, the room, the cleanliness and the location. The icing on the cake was the live band on the deck, the club downstairs and the bar overlooking Clearwater beach. Now I know where to stay when I'm in Tampa.
Cons: Nothing, everything was an A+
Located in popular Clearwater Beach, this hotel features a private stretch of white-sand beach facing the Gulf of Mexico; Sand Key Park, Clearwater Marina, and Pier 60 are all just a mile away.
Pros: great location. nice pool to relax. The owner was helpful in accommodating our request to check in late.
Cons: Small bathrooms

Pros: Loved the balcony beach view. Loved the size of the room, which had a separated living room. Loved the updated ceramic tiles in the bath and the fire pits around the 2nd floor pool. Can't wait to stay here again once they add the full bar at the pool. It was very close to restaurants and Pier 60. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The continental breakfast was not that good and found that they would run out of coffee early. The Breakfast time was only from 7am. to 9am.
Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: Breakfast was basic and not good. Kitchen room was VERY unorganized. Need more counter space.
Pros: That it was on the beach.
Cons: The cost for just a room, no fridge/microwave. Wifi was poor.
At The Beachview Hotel, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and free perks include continental breakfast daily and WiFi. Also, this hotel is within a short drive of Sand Key Park.
Pros: It was centrally located to stores and restaurants, the beach was right across the street, I didn't have to get in my car and drive anywhere because everything we needed was within walking distance.
Cons: The rooms are a little outdated and needed a little work. The decor in the room didn't match at all. The curtains, bedspreads, and dust ruffles were all 3 different colors and clashed. But that didn't affect my stay or the service I received.
Pros: Very clean and the room was very nice and large.
Cons: the outside is old
Pros: Expensive, over pricedd
Cons: Expensive, over priced.
Pros: Great location. The room we booked is kind of busy but super clean and has everything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We booked for two days but change to leave early back home. They didn't hesitate for a second to refund the other day.
Pros: How close it was to the beach and the great view of the water.
Cons: Could use some updating.
Pros: Amazing rooms!!! Outside looks like it needs some updating but the inside is definitely awesome! Worth it for sure, worth the money!!! I don't care what the outside looks like personally, the inside was completely amazing!
Cons: Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there!!!
Pros: It was really close to everything and everyone was great. The room was super cute and big. I will be back
Cons: Looked a little dated on the outside, but it was not bothersome.
Cons: Cracked concrete steps and flaking paint
Pros: Perfect location! Moderately priced and right across the street from the beach and everything is less than a mile walk. Nice staff - nothing spectacular about the room - but it wasn't bad at all! Great trip.
Cons: A little outdated - if you're 'high maintenance' this isn't the place for you - if you like a decent quiet place to stay without spending a ton of money - this is it!
Pros: About everything
Pros: Location snd size of rooms
Cons: The elevator
