I didnt find my key, so I had to move to another room. When I was asked to explain this to the staff, doing the check out, they didnt believe me and gave me a hard face :)
It was calm and quiet at night. Free usage of kitchen appliances and basic food and drink items (which we didn't make use of). The hostel has the architectural potential for being charming and characterful. The stay initially seemed to be relatively cheap.
No staff was present. The hallway reeked of urine. Our two-person room was prepared to accommodate one person only - single pillow, towel, and blanket - so we reached out to the owners. An hour later we had to remind them, after which they told us to take care of it ourselves. The curtains were non-functional. The TV didn't work. The furniture was in bad condition. We woke up at around 7.30 to drilling and hammering in the apartment right above us, with debris trickling down the inside of the wall. We wanted to take a quick shower in the only bathroom available to the guests of all ten rooms, but no warm water was available. (Some of the things mentioned would not have bothered us normally, but were emphasized by the absence of fundamental necessities.)
They did not give the code per email. You have to call them.
The location was centric.
The bed was not comfortable at all. We had a room next to the avenue it was very noisy all night, partly because the old wooden frames of the window wouldn't lock properly.
Very good location and clean. Easy to access. Price is top!
I woke up very early in morning due to much noise from the heavy traffic on road.
